I hate it when reporters say murder victims were at the wrong place at the wrong time.. Like it was the victim's fault they were murdered. No place at no time is a time for senseless killings.
Yeah same here. They do without wrong intent but it sounds just dumb
fault? That makes no sense. For you to look at it that way is irrational in of itself. You simply heard the words "wrong" in the same sentence as "victim" so you looked at it from a different context, while what they said was correct. He didn't "screw up" by just being there.

Nobody wants to be murdered anywhere. So if anyone helped to save this guy and they knew where he was, it wouldn't have been "the wrong place at the wrong time". Rational enough?
it's an outdated and illogical cliche. This is why people hate mainstream news reporting.
That's not what "wrong place, wrong time" means. It means he was just unlucky to be at a certain and time like getting hit by a falling coconut.
It is the murderers who were at the wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong thing.

Not sure how people can say that young man was at the wrong place at the wrong time, he was at his friends place just relaxing. If that's not the right place at the right time I just don't know. I think this story just shows how twisted the gun problems in America just are these days when it seems like the victim is somehow to blame in this story.
