    Another outstanding video. John Deere needs to have you demo their equipment. You do an excellent job. Fair too.

    Nice tractor. Front fenders and 38" rims on rear would be my preferred choice.

    Nice tractor bud! I like the fact that the cab looks basically the same as the 6000/7000's that came out in the 90's. Hope it treats you well

    i have the same feeling as you with all of the emissions. i got a massey 4610m about 6 months ago and so far no issues but i do worry about it as it is more that could go wrong. Nice tractor and good luck! I can not blame you for wanting better and closer dealer support.

    I believe you will really like the 24 speed after you begin using it. I have that transmission a few generations older in a 6310 and love it in the hay field

    I use the declutch buttom alot on the road its real handy. We run mostly in high C or D ranges and on the road hauling hay or whatever go from D4 to F1...hardly ever use E. Looking forward to more videos and hope it works oit. Thank you for the shout out!

    The button on the loader is for loader suspension and the pto button allows you to turn on the pto,rev up the tractor, get out and turn it on from the buttons on the side by holding it untill the indicators go out

  • @Dustin_Hruzek
    @Dustin_Hruzek 7 лет назад

    Yes, the cab suspension would make it higher and would make the tires look smaller. I have an older smaller 5425 JD but have family that farms so I keep an eye on the new technology.

    While you are out cruising in the RAM stop and look at a lime green disc mower and a discbine. NOTE THERE IS NO BELT DRIVING THE TURTLES. Are the tire radials ? Why didn't you get cast wheels on the tractor ?

    If you do alot of night work, you should consider putting on some LED AuxLights. Even a bar light in back.

    What's your approx. 20 day of ownership review of the 6110? Do you like it? Do you find it underpowered (I see folks say that)? Easy to work/maintain? Did you buy outright, finance or lease? Thanks.

    Did your old Deere and Massey have DEF system? Any thoughts on how that will effect your operational cost buying that stuff? Wonder in years to come after warranty is out if our can delete the DEF like you can on trucks. Great looking tractor. I hope it gives you years of success and reliability.

    the cab is not jacked up it just looks like it because that tractor was designed to have the higher 38 tires on the back..due to the smaller 34" tires there is a larger gap between the cab and back tires

    • @SpringHollowHayFarm
      @SpringHollowHayFarm  7 лет назад +2

      Sean Keane that may be so but my point was the cab is jacked up higher compared to previous 6000 series models.

    Really like the new 6110M it looks very smart. But please drop the front end loader and place the bale spike into the ground on the other JD in the background its in a very dangerous position and is an accident waiting to happen.Really dont want to see any people animals hurt or even a bale spike going through your new tractors tyres.

    I would of rather the larger tires on the rear if it was an option.

    my new massey Ferguson wr9870 has def, I hate it. it goes through it like crazy

    • @AlbertaRanch
      @AlbertaRanch 7 лет назад

      My MF 6615 doesn't use hardly any def when used for feeding. However with this cold weather the tractor revs to 1200 rpm at start up because the "def is too cold". That is moronic.

    • @perryc8943
      @perryc8943 7 лет назад

      Sowerscattleco Don't much about the agriculture engines and Def but commercial trucks that used to get a million to a million half miles between overhauls now are only getting 600 to 750000 miles on a engine. To much emissions is killing the engines.

    • @allanmccullough8550
      @allanmccullough8550 7 лет назад

      Diesel engines will not reach operating temp at normal idle speed, therefore need at least 1000rpm to get there. My '06 Dodge doesn't even have DEF, and if you start it in cold temps and don't drive away within a short time, maybe a minute or less it will idle itself up.
