Carbon-Z® Technology
Exclusive Carbon-Z technology features composite construction that allows major components like the wing to be chambered, significantly reducing weight while increasing rigidity to comparable all-wood construction.
Brushless Power
Under the sleek cowl is a powerful 50-size brushless power system that features a high-torque 525Kv motor, a 70-amp brushless ESC and 15x5.5 propeller for the authority to hover and accelerate vertically.
High-Voltage System
With the 4400mAh 6S 22.2V Li-Po battery you provide, expect extreme performance for high-alpha knife edge flight, vicious tumbles, Harrier moves and hover-power that provides unlimited vertical.
Easy Assembly
Each plug-in wing features carbon-fiber wing tube support that secures with a single screw. The aileron linkages simply snap into place and concealed through-pins quickly connect the I-struts into molded pockets.

Of course I had to come across this old video just when I had persuaded myself that I didn't care about a plane's looks, just it's characteristics. I realize the adjective 'sexy' actually makes sense in this case. A big thank you to you guys for highlighting the fascination of this hobby rather than the technical challenges and frustrations we tend to focus on, possibly more so in FPV than in LOS, but still. I doff my goggles and salute you.

I clicked the crazy local purchase button on this. Someone had it online and I said right away I got to go pick it up. Based on watching this video again and seeing your gorgeous landing, I'm going to take that courage and go fly it.
That way I'll be able to decide if I want to trade it to a friend or keep it as a great bird that does not need to be taken apart to fit in the car.

The best flying small aerobatic biplane I have seen so far,it grooves around the sky so well and just listen to that propeller going supersonic as that motor is on song.

Ah, Robert! You make me want to go fly this plane. It sounds like a warbird, or better than a warbird. It is the best sound ever. What is the prop? It is the power of the prop that makes that sound. Great maiden flight! I have the Prometheus and it's one of my favorites. I liked it so much that I bought a second one and have it brand new in the box just in case I ever crash the first one knowing the Prometheus was going to be discontinued by Eflite. I'm still flying the first one hopefully for a long time but you know the saying "There are two kinds of RC airplanes, the kind that have crashed and the kind that are going to crash"

I read your reply to Pilot Robert and you have a second one in the box. I desperately want one , would you sell it ? Or do you still know where i can one. I've spent hours scrolling the internet for one. 😢😢😢😢
Rc sean brady I'm very sorry but I can't part with the second one. I bought the second one specifically because I knew they were being discontinued. Why they discontinued the Prometheus I will never understand. I feel your pain.I will keep my eyes and ears out if I find another one I will let you know immediately. I have an FMS Pitts biplane also, I would not sell it but I think they are still available. It is a great plane compared to Prometheus I'm not sure which is my favorite. I have flight videos of both planes on my RUclips channel. Best of luck to you on your search.

Great maiden Pilot Robert. I must say that eflite planes are my favorites. 90% of the planes I own are eflite and I’m never disappointed with any of them.
