The worst mistake Wenger has done at Arsenal is raise expectations. Arsenal were a mediocre team pre Wenger... and since Wenger came they were top 4 contenders. They're back down to 6th position, and that is still an improvement from the pre-Wenger era. I doubt any new manager could keep up what Wenger is doing now, even though it doesn't seem too great.

Im Wenger in because if they keep doing terrible under Wenger Watford might be able to beat them again! Also if they are still with Wenger next season, if they sell the likes of Sanchez and Ozil and dont sign anyone world class I can see them being a mid-table team.
They should also have a look at Louis Enrique after he is leaving Barcelona at the end of the season.

If arsenal don't finish top 4 then they aren't good enough it's not their right to finish there. The fans say it's not good enough finishing in the top 4 with Europe every season most Prem teams would die for that opportunity and my team Derby haven't won anything in ages so try being a Derby fan or most other premier league and championship teams
Daniel the difference is derby haven't won a thing where as arsenal have a rich history for trophies so fans expect it.
Every year though it's inevitable that arsenal will get Bayern/Barcelona someone like that in the knockout stages of champions league, they're not consistent enough to win the league and fa cup is the only trophy they can win most years
They shouldn't expect to win stuff every year if champions league failure and premier league failure is inevitable

It's difficult because if he goes I really don't think a new manager coming in will achieve top 4 - meaning they will then get all the pressure of not achieving what Wenger did.

Im a big, big arsenal fan and a big Wenger fan but lets be honest hes been an absolute legend and he has changed Arsenal but since the form we are in now Wenger has to go. The thing is, he loves the club and the board are giving him the choice to stay or go, and he cant avoid everyone going around having banners saying 'WENGER OUT'. #Wengerin Wender has had an abysmal season, but over the last 20 years he has helped us progress so far. Yes, our season has been poor but if we give him 1 or 2 more years he can turn around the team in those next seasons. I think he should be given his chance for the next season. He has finished in the top 4 for so long and hav finished above Spurs for a ridiculous amount of time. He has had a poor season but because of 1 season, you can't fire a manager who has done so much. Give him a chance, he had proved he can turn around bad form many time. The players have a poor mentality atm but that can be turned around with a new season, with new players. It's only 1 blip at the moment! He finished 2nd last year and has won the fa cup twice in a row recently. Look at fergie when he left MUFC. Give him a chance for 1 or 2 more seasons. #wengerin

I felt that some of the negatives of Wenger that Spencer talked about were aimed at the fans. There is absolutely nothing the fans can do to change the boards. It's the only club in the PL that won't listen to the fans.
Agree with most of what Spen said but this sounds like he's trying to say Wenger isn't a Legend. In a time where players can have 2-3years of excellence and be considered a legend, Wenger is beyond that. He's transformed the club and the league tremendously. That being said I do believe his time is up.

I'm an Arsenal fan and have followed them for years, I do think it's time he looked to leave soon but who else? I'm 20 and he's always been the manager my entire life, change is worrying. Him leaving could make or destroy us.

I think you are completely wrong and Wenger is doing a very good job but he can't invest in players because of the club director who owns teams in almost every popular sport and is only in it for the money.
