Three generations getting able to spend time together with a mutual interest is great. Enjoy the trip.
I love that Henry is learning while just hanging out with Dad and Gpa. He will not be fooled by the all-over paint job…
@@joeyhunter842 Perfect analogy… wouldn’t surprise me if Pete shared that with Henry too.
LOL - "Oh man, I wanna bring this home", Pete said about the fire truck. A kid at heart...
You are a lucky man Pete. Spending a day with your dad and son is priceless. 3 generations spending a day together doing something they all understand and like. A lucky man indeed.......THANK YOU FOR SHARING!
Pete, it’s a skid steer concrete mixer. Designed for small pours like piers etc.
I knew once I saw it, but only because of Andrew Camrata having one.
Love seeing Henry in your videos.. you may not have bought anything, but you made memories with your family..
Can we appreciate the turnover rate of Pete getting this video out. This is a professional level. 👏
Henry is growing up fast. I have many fond memories of going to farm auctions with my dad.
What a fantastic family bonding day, 3 generations all together sharing the same interests. Great episode Pete, Pete and Henry 💙💙💙
You nearly had me going there Pete when you said Henry may use it 😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gotta love a good auction as a Farmer
Good crowd at that one.
I haven't been to an auction in about a decade.
Picked up a small comercial walk behind mower for $35!!!
It was rough , tires flat, they said it ran with starter fluid , but didn't start it.
Gamble but it paid off.
Cleaned carb , aired up tires & it still runs today!
Win some & lose some!
Watching this got my blood going.
Reminds me when I was a much younger man. I would go to the livestock auctions often with no intention of seriously buying anything. But I would evaluate about everything with extremely watchful eye, then I would complain about how prices were too high, the quality of the stock, and others paying too much for something I never intended to buy! Very typical auction behavior. The best part was watching the girls and getting a bite to eat!
& getting that occassional diamond in the rough!
Pete I roared when you said “waste of time tools” for the golf clubs. Good video.
4:03 is a concrete mixer. Seems like fits a skidsteer
Wasting time, or making memories?
Henry will know the answer, years from now.
Thanks for taking me along
Hi Mr Larson, Pete and Henry. Thanks for bringing all of us to the auction. Especially liked your objective assessments of the items for sale, the sellers and the buyers. Have great week guys.
So glad you were kidding about buying the new tractor. I love that you use and lovingly maintain your older ones. They have history behind them. Your father taught you and your teaching Henry about motor upkeep.
My dad always said he only ever went to auction for a bad cup of coffee, but sometimes came home with something that he didn't really need 😊
Auctioneers are such optimists! Thanks for taking us along Pete
Pete I look forward to your videos. Never disappoint
The Suspense, the Drama, the Anticipation and Thrill ! It's a farm auction and it's fun😊 and I agree Pete... The hot dogs are the best part. Thanks for taking us along. Cool stuff 👍🏻
That hopper with the auger going both ways was a concrete hopper used to pump concrete. A 4" or 6" hose connects to the bottom out of which comes the concrete.
Makes perfect sense. Thank you.
Mixer. There was no pump. Close the gate, add concrete and water. Mix, then dump.
Nice to see three generations enjoying the time together. trust me its a rare time and option. and you are blessed to have had it together. thanks for sharing Pete. that was fun! ECF
Haha I knew you had to be pulling our chains on a new tractor! It's the wrong color!!!
That one piece of equipment was a concrete mixer for a skid steer. You could either use ready mix and transport it to the tight location, or use the teeth on top to bust open bags of cement and mix it up in the bin
Just being together was a win. Nice day out and a sausage roll to boot, can’t go wrong. 🎅🏻
Had me fooled at first😂 but I think I knew you wouldn't entertain something that new..lol
1:30 That's a lovely Ford 5000 with loader beside the Johnny Popper you're sitting on.
Spending time with your dad, and son was well worth the day. Blessings🙂
I love looking at all the equipment. Thanks for bringing us along.
Love seeing Henry please post more videos with your beautiful son,❤
Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for sharing yall's 3 generation day!
Thanks for taking us along. Auctions are fun.
I enjoy your channel and appreciate your jack of all trades and can do attitude. Don't change and please continue to do it all. Y'all are appreciated 😊
Pete, thank you for teaching your son that you are a man of good character and integrity!
May God bless you!
I'm sure somebody already answered it, but that skid steer attachment with the auger to the middle was a cement mixer. Normally they have a hose. Come off the bottom so you can aim the mixed cement.
Thank you, Pete, for taking us along on your auction excursions. 🤩
That hopper with the auger is for loading seed drills with bags. Your dad is correct the spikes are to rip the bag, then there would a small auger under the hole that would go up and drop into the drill. Probably for used to mix in graphite or a soybean additive while is loading. Beats carrying all those bags up on top of the drill and cutting them.
Thank you for bringing us along. Sure beat last years muddy cold and overcast auction.
Pete, that black bucket with the auger in the bottom looks like a cement mixer for a skid steer.
I've never been to an action before, this felt like i was actually right there. Thanks Pete for taking us along for the ride.
Loved every bit of this 👍👍❤❤
You should go even without the intent to buy anything. They are a good relaxing reason to get out and talk to people or just people watch.
@@Mtbambeno Thank you
💝Fantastic auction! We have had a motto at our home. We have bought all our cars and made them into our own used cars. We know the history of our cars inside out. Going for 500,000 miles on our Surburban. Have a Chevy truck that has been through a lot since it came out in the 1960's. Grown men drool over it. Some our favorite cars did succumb to accidents. One slide off the road in a snowstorm. Loved that little Saturn. Made so many school runs in it. Nice red color. Took the mountains well as we drove it back and forth from the central valley of California up to the Willamette Valley of Oregon when our son decided to attend OSU in Corvallis. Well Pete, that is the story of us making our own used cars. 💕 Love that you restore your machines. So fun to follow along with you. Take care until next time! ❇❇❇
That fire truck would have been a great project but where would you store it. It would have been interesting to see it fixed up but i doubt it could get done in a season like the tractors. Looks like you guys had a fun day at the auction. I wonder if Hillary was surprised you didn’t come home with anything
I imagine the first unidentified object could be a concrete mixer. Close the bottom hatch, add water + cement to mix (using the bag-breaker-opener thingy), then open the bottom when youre over the spot you want to start adding the concrete.
After watching so many of your auction videos, I now can understand the auctioneers perfectly lol 😂
I like watching your trips to auctions! I love seeing the old equipment!
I watched this video before, but I have to tell you, Pete, that I enjoyed it even more the second time!! You are so lucky to have your dad wish you still at this point in your life., Not to mention having your son enjoy the auctions with the two of you. I used to attend the farm auctions with my father and he didn’t matter if he was just a little Livestock auction or if it was a big farm oxen like this one, the time we spent together was priceless. Lotta people can’t get past the dirt on everything but I watched your videos enough to know that you’re going to take that front loader home and make it look really nice and work efficiently as well. I look forward to seeing that process.
I want to thank you for taking the time to video, and I know you’re disappointed about not capturing them bidding for your front loader, but nonetheless, I enjoyed you walking around and talking about the value of different things, and what they sold for, as well as what parts were missing. The thing you don’t show that I love at an auction is the food… I always found auctions to have some of the best pies and sloppy Joe’s. Maybe next time we can get a shot of some of that good old-fashioned auction food plus the ladies are always so nice that the food booth. But maybe you guys don’t eat during the day at the auction. Me, I have my pie picked out within the hour and paid for even though I’m not gonna eat it for four or five hours.
Working for an auctioneer was truly one of my favorite jobs❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ the gentleman that owned the business was a kind, Christian man, and he and his wife became dear friends for life. Sadly, though, when my mother got cancer, I had to move to Iowa, and their business was in Kansas. He gave everyone there. Excuse they were wanting to quit the business, and I always felt bad about that. Because I know the gentleman that owned it really loved auctioning. But life goes on dislike some of this equipment here people buy it, and they create a new life for it, repairing it and repainting it like New!!!😊👍🏼
Thanks again Pete and Family for taking me along on your day trip to the auction. I’ll go anytime you go. By the way, does Hillary like auctions?
The bucket with the mixer and bag breaker is for mixing cement. Normally used with a skid steer.
Good to see your family again Pete. Not many farmers dressed in bibs like there used to be at the auctions.
All of those auction-goers glaring at Peter amuse me.
It's something else; not even a trace of a smile. What a crowd!
Thanks for educating us on the "restoration" tricks, Pete. I'm not sure you're making friends in the auction game, though, haha!
That homemade backrubber kinda looked like I might need it 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤Pete your hilarious!
I’d love to see a series about restoring the fire truck. That would be fun!!
These auction videos are nostalgic, really remind me of going to farm auctions with my dad.
Props to Henry for that wild guess👏🏿👏🏿
Loved this video and seeing Henry with you and your Dad, great memories, thanks for taking us along, keep on farming.
It’s the simple things in life that make it worthwhile.
Thanks Pete
Gotta remember Pete
PAINT SELLS 😁😁
"DEF What is that". Love it!!!
People turn to farming for a reason. I think the reason people stay at home and buy at auctions through the internet is because they can't handle the stress and anxiety of being around a lot of people (and/or being at an auction because it can be chaotic). Pete, you know what I'm referring to because you find it peaceful being at your farm.
Blessings. Thanks for sharing the video.
You tricked me Pete!! I enjoyed tagging along. Thank you.
Great to see Henry with your Dad. Henry takes being with Grandpa for granted, but it’s very special time. It goes by fast!
Are used to live in a small town north east of Wichita Kansas and I had the pleasure of working for an auctioneer; but prior to that, I remember standing all day at a Fabulous sale where things were going VERY HIGH…My grandmother had recently passed away and she was a Methodist and as a little girl I had sang songs with her in the garden while we pull the weeds and cut flowers and made bouquets together was such a special time and there was this leather messaged him know that was quite small, hand sewn (about 3 1/2“ x 5“ at the most) with faded gilded edges and lettering on the top and the thing I love the most was the obvious worn down curve on the Frack in the center call mom that represented years of wear and tear and love where a thumb print had been Pressed and Worn Down into the Leather!!..It gives a whole book a new character I expected the tiny little book to Sell for around $100 but I wanted it, in honor of my Grandmother. Finally, Claudine of the day they started putting things in boxes together and I’m like no I want that by itself and since I was friends with the auctioneer and his wife I sent a note up to the auctioneer to pose a little book out. That is a big mistake because il draws attention to the crowd & the item… luckily I was able to get the lovely leather book, “for only $45. Much to my surprise llama it was not songs but rather the Bible scriptures, But that was OK because later in life I realize that many of the song that we were seeing for me from the scripture. Grandma was such a great influence on me♥️😇
2022 Concrete Bucket Mixer for Skid Steer is what that black square contraption with the auger with spikes on top!! My family has a concrete construction company and a farm!! i love your show!! I love auctions!! I love how you rebuild internationals we do that also wish more people would with their kids!! I love your humor also!!
Thank you sir for your great videos. God bless you, Hillary and the family. Have a wonderful Father's day
Pete, someone else has probably said... That hopper is a concrete mixer attachment for a bobcat.
Hey Pete. I'm Dean. I just wanted to tell you, You favor your dad. Your son Henry favors his mom. I enjoy your videos. You have a nice family. Be safe.
Fabulous family memories.
You, Henry, do you want the rakes or shovels to work the farm?
Henry, I'll take the sled.
BTW: had hopes you would buy the sled to restore and hang on a barn wall.
This is a quality channel. Period.
Also that’s a skid steer attachment cement mixer at 4:20, and your dad is right! That’s for breaking bags open.
That stainless sink set up might have been a nice addition to the chicken production area. Speaking of, I would like to see your set up for that. Most people have no idea how much work goes into processing chicken, not to mention set up and then clean up when you are whipped. Maybe show us the basics and keep the red stuff off camera to appease the squeamish. 🙄🤣🤣
Pete, I was worried when you were pointing at things that you might accidentally bid on something! Thanks for bringing us along for this fun trip to the farm equipment auction with your dad and son.
I had to laugh at the "waste of time tools" comment. I agree, I always called it pasture pool.
Thanks for a great day out. Sorry Grandad and dad, I'll go with Henry's advice on purchasing.
Loved the comment "how much does Rust-Oleum cost?" I restore antique cars and my policy has always been never buy one that has had a full repaint without being restored. You never know what is hiding under that coat of paint.
2nd :D . That black thing with the jaged edge on top was a concrete mixer, and Layer it seems
I did a spit take when you said you. bought that new tractor.
You had me going there for a minute. I thought he must be expanding!
Always enjoy very much you and your family going to auctions. Great memories 😊
A good day out. Sausage doesn't hurt either .
Now that fire truck would be one hell of a restoration project ye gads
Ha ha that was good at the end but way outta character for you !!!! Good to spend the day with your dad and son.
That was exciting , Pete you had me there for a moment , lol
Pete, you had fun with your dad, and your Son, well done.
Bob Barker still living, he's 99! i had to look that up, you looked disappointed when you said that. Love the auction videos and seeing the prices around where you are! so cool getting 3 generations out to see things like that!!
Hey Pete, buy that old wood/coal stove !!! I'll pay for it ! My Dad had 3 Warm Morning stoves , he restored they were beautiful ! My brother and sister and I could have anything we wanted before the Auction, I Kick myself every winter because I didn't get 1 of those stove's !!! Thank you Pete another great video !!! GOD BLESS !!!
Nothing like the old equipment, simple and effective.
Ya-all enjoyed those samwiches at lunch time, best buys of the day along with the best times!
Like the idea of the new four wheeler🤪
Great Auction where one could lose his shirt if he didn't pay attention like Pete, Pete & Henry do....WOW..! I loved Pete's rendition about the "PAINT" Job's....! "COVER IT UP" sales...! Glad to see you 3 all together enjoying the Sun..! =)
Thanks for taking us to the auction. I had a great time. Glad I wasn't there to buy that John Deere bulldozer.
Hi Pete,
I love to see all this old farm machinery. Eicher is an old German tractor company. They built air cooled engines with theses radial blowers on the side. They had a plant in India. In the 70s Eicher was sold to Massey Ferguson, but the Indish plant became independent an is still producing Eicher tractors. Some parts still fit to the old German machines and a few models even look similar to the old German tractos. The tractor you have seen is a modern model.
It was great seeing all 3 of you get to spend the day together. I can not wait for my grandson and his dad and I to get to hang out together and just do nothing or have a day full of non stop action. No matter what, I can not wait! Good times, great memories!
On a side note, I literally stopped the video and looked my wife in the face and said uhhh NOPE! It's not red, it's WAY too new and no character at all. Absolutely none. She was working really hard to convince me that I may be wrong this one time. Then that one little spot in the back of my mind finally broke down and said what if. She laughed and laughed at me when we finally got the results we already knew were true!
Another fantastic video! I love auctions and looking at other peoples "treasures". Thanks for taking us along Pete!
Your dad was right. It’s a concrete mixer.
At the end. You got me . I was like no way ! What will he do with that . His farm isn’t big enough for that and it’s not your thing. I could see you getting a little Kubota with a loader. Just to do all the cleaning . My neighbor has one and it’s great. But not for the bigger stuff. It’s great for removing snow, cleaning the stalls and moving a little gravel/mulch around. They are awesome for that .
Nice spring day not too hot not too cold, crisp air, and the smell of old equipment, with the auctioneer chanting behind, what a beautiful day 😀 memories for ever, the taste of America that you can't get anywhere in the world.
Thanks Pete for bringing this up.
I love it when utubers take us to auction. Always interesting, That attachment with the auger in the bottom was concrete mixer for a skid steer Pete. Nice to see Henry there with you and your dad. Thank you for letting us tag along, 👍
My family loves your videos, my oldest boy and me hope to meet you at red power roundup! We're headed out there from Wisconsin. It's so interesting to see what prices equipment is going for on yours and farmall fanatics channels.
Pete you bought no equipment spent no money, put a smile on Hillary's face 🤗
