I had to tell you when you said to get plates when having a party . When my daughter got married in 2003, we didn't have much but wanted her to have a nice wedding. We rented a VFW hall, but had to supply all food, dishes, etc. After pricing the heavy duty paper plates, we decided to buy dishes, glasses, at yard sales etc. A lot were had 2 for $0.25. We had about 100 people. Each table had a separate theme/color. At the end of the night we told the guests they could take what ever they wanted. People went home with plates and glasses. (We did wash in the available kitchen) we had very little left and sold at a yard sale for $0.50 each!
My dad had an angel statue in his garden. It got knocked over and the head broke off. He tried to fix it but the head wouldn’t stay on. Eventually a lizard took up residence inside the angel. It looked really funny when the lizard would stick his head out the neck hole. Looked like an angel with a small lizard head. Dad didn’t have the heart to take the lizards home away from him.
Dagney, I don't know about anybody else, but I like voice overs. Because between all the people talking, the loud music, kids crying, things breaking, I find it difficult to hear each reseller over the din of the store.
I smile when you note that Jenny is "losing steam" and wants to leave. My two kids were like that... And I said just what you said, "just one more aisle." Today, they run an antique shop that specializes in personal "finding" for people. Go figure. 🤗🌻
That is a funny twist, isn’t it? My 30 year old still runs out of steam when she is the one who asked to go shopping. It is important to still pack water and snacks! Lol.
My son was the same way. He tired of thrift shopping very quickly when he was a pre-teen. Now he is a Dad of two boys under 6 years old and loves thrift shopping! Plus, he now lives in a college town and enjoys dumpster diving at the college. Last month they found lots of treasures left behind by the students!!
I am a retired teacher also . I love watching you thrift with friends and family. I also love to see all your travels with your family, it's like going on a trip with a good friend.
Looks like the Avon was suppose to come in a matching set I snagged this description from a easy listing ( for the colorful one) ... Excellent condition two very groovy looking floral milk glass shaker bottles. At one time they held foaming bath gel but then were to be repurposed as salt and pepper shakers. They still have their little velvet bows around their necks.
THANKS Dagny, I had fun shopping with you and Jenny today. I am so glad you found the other bird that went with the one you got the other day. You found a lot of nice things on this trip. HUGS!!!!!
I love Mary Engelbreit!! (I should say her designs; I've never met her.) 😊 I have all, (I think), of her first year of magazines--possibly a couple years. They all still have their paperdolls intact inside. (I should check sometime to see what they would be worth now, although I have no immediate plans to sell them.) I also have several of her planner/calendars--including this year's, which is the first I've found for several years now. Her work always makes me smile and brings joy to my heart. 😊♥
Oh how cool! At 15:55 was the milk glass butter dish that Jocelyn bought in her recent video. It makes me feel like I’m all the way up there (from Arkansas) shopping with y’all! I wanted to say “hey, you better grab that because I know someone else who will!” Lol
Hi Danny, The clear and brass carafe is a Princess House. It came with a brass footed piece that it say in and a round brass tray. It was a Hostess gift you could earn back in the day the day of the Party Plan. I earned one back in the 70's. But through the years I let go of it. I don't think they are worth much. Love shopping with you.
And those are Avon? The shakers? I have found one and looked so beautifully retro to me so I bought it lol but definitely some kind of spice set. When I looked mine up it was paired with another color totally off from mine. So guessing they are all different
I sell single mugs in my etsy shop constantly at $14-$18. There's a Takahashi mug behind the smiley planter. Ohmygosh! They sell lightning fast for me. 🌟
Have to also comment on the trivet next to the (Woodstock, Canada dog): "autocorrect has become my worst enema". Had to laugh at that because it is soooooo true--and, usually, funny!!! And then--your description of the Gold Crest, with the 'swiggle swaggle' around it: so fun!! Loved the items you picked! 🙂
How exciting to have met Mary Engelbreit! My co-grandmother sent me an autographed book when our grandson was born. A treasure! I think I would have gotten the snowman plate even if it was from China.
💋Thank you for all your work you do. I know it looks easy , but it is time consuming🤩I am losing my eye sight. and haven't been out of the house for 5+ years🥴😵💫☹I have been trying entertain my self. I have found some kind of peace in some you tubers😁I will keep watching you so I can smile❣👍👏👌
They definitely have great prices at that GW, especially when compared to Maryland. Thanks for showing what you do with cups. Learning from you is so fun.
An adventurous day at GW! you were so very quick to find one great thing after another, maybe a little too much coffee today ,lol. I like all the colorful Avon bottles and jars. Also a Mary Englebriet piece I always like her art. Nice to have sweet Jenny with you, nice tee shirt Jen. Enjoyable video with a lot speed!
You had some amazing finds! Good luck with your adventure! I used to live in central Pennsylvania for 15 years. I wish I knew then what great thrift stores are there!
Thanks for the coffee mug trick! Anything with a handle…..(true thing, antique jug, goodwill online, not until I filled it with water did I discover the hairline fracture in the handle🇼🇸😢)
Another great video! Your Goodwill shelves are so full! It’s so much fun watching you wind your way through the store and find such treasures, thanks for sharing ☺️
My 17 year old son and I both have eBay shops. We shop together, but he’s always ready to go way before I am. He has a very specific style and I am like if I can $5 I’m getting it.
Thank you for another great video. When I hear your voice I think Mt blood pressure drops 10 to 20 points, very soothing. I particularly liked pottery pieces you picked Happy thrifting!
You are the sweetest person. I have to let you know that your method of filming gives me motion sickness. Not sure what you can do about this and if others have the same issue. I hope it can be fixed so I can watch more of your videos 🤞🏻
I just love watching ur videos. U have brought me so much joy since I started watching. Ur voice is so soothing and sweet,I hope that's not weird of me to say. But anywayy, hope u have a great day & I always look forward to ur next video. 🙂
Yesterday, I bought two Starbuck's coffee mugs, and one had a long crack on the inside, can't believe I didn't see it now it will turn into a planter, with succulents because its the California Mug, the other is the 2011 barrel black mug with the Siren on the front so check those Starbuck mugs. Both were around $15 to $25.00 each.
The copper coffee carafe is princess house circa 1970's. It also would have copper stand for the carafe to sit in and a candle to keep the coffee warm and it all sat on a copper tray. I don't remember if the tray came with or it was a separate purchase.
I am really enjoying your shopping video's and this one was fun. Trying to involve a teenager is difficult but you seem to manage ok, regardless. I love how you will do anything to raise a smile from her, but I'm guessing she's more embarrassed. But as mothers, we do it anyway. 😁 I really liked those little pottery pieces.
I live 30 min from Woodstock, Ontario. It’s close to Toronto, fyi. I can’t help with the name on the base of the dog, but thought it was cool that I live near that town. Also, your sense of humour makes me genuinely laugh…I love how Jenny is a typical “reactor” of your humour (typical, meaning …c’mon Mom…🤣😂). Love from Waterloo, Ontario.
I saw a lighthouse from Bermuda identical to the one you saw at a local thrift store. It has a base that the lighthouse rests on, and it holds a candle, which was missing on the one you had shown. Some kind of fairy light I would guess.
Hi ! I collect pigs also ! I have tons of them ! No flying pig though ! I will have to find one ! Great finds today ! Nice vlog ! Take care ! Deborah Manitoba Canada
If you get a chance to buy the cat mug on a future trip, I’ll happily purchase it from you. None of my mugs match and I like it that way. 😀 My last purchases just arrived today. Thank you!
Maybe Iva Crumback stamped all her belongings. Therefore the name on the little dog. :) Another good video. I envy your thrift shops. Not so good here in Nova Scotia and items are getting pricier by the day.

So smart!! Love that idea😊
That is such an AWESOME idea...thanks for sharing🧡🐷
What a neat idea

You bring such sunshine to our world!!! The coffee mug handle test! Hah. Love your sweet daughter’s T-shirt. I love watching your adventures. 😄☕️🐸🐖

That was my line as well💚
You ought to call the brown aisle- That 70’s Aisle.😆
😂😂
10:28 “Auto Correct has become my worst enema”. 😂 😂
Swiggle, swiggle on the Fenton. I love that!
I like how you go through the shelves when shopping! You’re a great shopper. You don’t miss a thing.
Love your energy and love your voice overs!
You made me laugh when you were peeping & wriggling that coffee mug handle 😂😂😂
I am a retired teacher also . I love watching you thrift with friends and family. I also love to see all your travels with your family, it's like going on a trip with a good friend.
Thank you so much!💜🐷
As always a pure joy to watch your video's. Jenny is adorable, kids are always ready to leave. Great video!!
So glad when I saw you go back for the Ironwood birds.
Love watching you you are so easy to listen to
I appreciate that❤️🐷
Ohhh… “autocorrect has become my worst enema” I died , funny stuff at the Goodwill
Me too! I was an editor for years, and would run into “pubic servants” and “untied workers”. Fun times!
I love Mary Engelbreit!

Thanks for putting those sold comps big . So much easier to see that way!!

Thank you Barbara for the info🧡🐷
The little Avon Floral bottles came with Bubble Bath in them .
Clever girl with the cup handle test.👩🏻🎓 I enjoy your humor and smiles. Best to you and your wonderful family!
Thanks so much! 😊❤️🐷
I enjoy your videos so much. It doesn't matter what the video content is. You have such a sweet family.
Thank you Martha for your kind words💜🐷
I saw you with The Crazy Lamp Lady. I love when you shop with Jocelyn so I followed you here. 💕
I love a critter day. Thank you!
You are so welcome and thank you for watching❤️🐷
I saw the same yellow smiley face mug here at the goodwill in Waynesboro VA. They make me giggle
Thanks for taking us to Goodwill shopping. You are right never know what you will find there.
3:31 wooden pineapple upside down. ❤️
The owl carving was very nicely done. I'm not a huge owl fan and rarely comment but really beautiful piece. ❤️
And those are Avon? The shakers? I have found one and looked so beautifully retro to me so I bought it lol but definitely some kind of spice set. When I looked mine up it was paired with another color totally off from mine. So guessing they are all different

My hub always wants to go with me but is ready to leave within 15 minutes. :) Fun finds today!
Just started following. Found you on Crazy Lamp Lady. Loved this video and look forward to more!!!
Thank you for watching!
Another WONDERFUL video...you are a ray of SUNSHINE!!!!!!!
Wow, thank you!💜🐷
Awww my granddaughter has that same shirt as Jenny!
The Avon made me think of my childhood. 60s and 70s. Love the patterns on them. I am 58. My Aunt collected Avon. She had it everywhere in her house.
How exciting to have met Mary Engelbreit! My co-grandmother sent me an autographed book when our grandson was born. A treasure!
I think I would have gotten the snowman plate even if it was from China.
Those ironwood figures were lovely. Such a nice feel to them I'm sure.
Hi Dagny! Love your videos!
I bought one of those avon glass bottles because I loved the 60's retro design. I think it was for powder or perfume.
I would have bought that cat mug. Loved it.
At 8:01 I have that same apple peeler. I bought it from QVC many years ago and it still works great!
They definitely have great prices at that GW, especially when compared to Maryland. Thanks for showing what you do with cups. Learning from you is so fun.
Even though Avon is not popular to collect anymore I loved those little bottles. Definately 60s vibes.
I'm a big Avon fan. Grandma sold it. The milk glass shakers usually had cologne but occasionally talc or bubble bath.
Love that you found something made in my home the Bahamas, love you all the way from Nassau, Bahamas.
Great shirt, Jenny!! You do a wonderful job of keeping her engaged.
I've had that plastic apple peeler for 15 years and it still works great. I just cooked a big pan of fried yellow delicious apples last week.
Enjoyed this video so much!
Awesome! Thank you Elaine💛🐷
The rooster or chicken basket in the brown section was probably older. My mom has a few antique baskets shaped like chickens and other animals.
Have a happy day thrifting!
I loved the victorian milk glass vanity dish. You left it behind. Maybe another time
Another great video! Your Goodwill shelves are so full! It’s so much fun watching you wind your way through the store and find such treasures, thanks for sharing ☺️
Love watching your videos, I learn so much. Thanks
My 17 year old son and I both have eBay shops. We shop together, but he’s always ready to go way before I am. He has a very specific style and I am like if I can $5 I’m getting it.
Great video!
I need those blue plastic picnic plates. 😆
Thank you for another great video. When I hear your voice I think Mt blood pressure drops 10 to 20 points, very soothing. I particularly liked pottery pieces you picked
Happy thrifting!
I really enjoy watching your thrifting! Hope you do well!
Great video, it’s always fun when Jenny is your shopping partner. I enjoy your channel very much
Thank you so much💛🐷
I collect stoneware pottery .. I love the candle holder😀
Great video!! Would have loved the kitty mug. I was hoping you would get it.
The coffee craft is by princess house and I saw the base that holds it was there too. It was a copper base that matches the handle.
It was a good day at Goodwill! Always wonderful to see you and Jenny! Lo e your style and sweet personality!! Have a fabulous day!
A fun video! I love your cheerful conversation; it’s a joy to be in your company! Great finds at your favorite Goodwill today! Have a nice evening!
Thank you so much Beverly ❤️🐷
Good video. Thank you
I love to watch ur videos thank you♥️
The bottom of the cafe carafe at 15:24 you passed the holder at 14:43.
You are the sweetest person. I have to let you know that your method of filming gives me motion sickness. Not sure what you can do about this and if others have the same issue. I hope it can be fixed so I can watch more of your videos 🤞🏻

The Trinket Dish Made in England was Wedgewood!!

Love the video 💕💕
The "killer wasp" is a bee after all, because it has no "wasp waist".
The copper coffee carafe is princess house circa 1970's. It also would have copper stand for the carafe to sit in and a candle to keep the coffee warm and it all sat on a copper tray. I don't remember if the tray came with or it was a separate purchase.
I saw the copper stand in this video on a previous isle. I was wondering if we would see the carafe along the way:)
Woodstock has a population of 40,000. Not so much a pottery mecca, more small town pottery studios🙂 I'm guessing the figurine is a hobbyist piece.
I loved the pretty floral mugs on the shelf by the rooster box. Anyone know what they were?
Thanks for the sweet video!
I LOVE YOUR SHIRT JENNY 💜
I NEED TO GET ONE FOR MY OLDEST GRAND DAUGHTER.
I found it on Amazon
I am really enjoying your shopping video's and this one was fun. Trying to involve a teenager is difficult but you seem to manage ok, regardless. The stamp said Woodstock Canada so not necessarily the one in Ontario. There's one in NB and SK - probably others. I'm your neighbour 🐮
@@maryelliott7143 very cool! I did not know that! Hey neighbour…🇨🇦
The pottery puppy is exactly the same shape as the beswick blue puppy I have in my etsy shop.
I couldn't find any Daher tins made in Hong Kong on internet. Maybe a rare find.
I saw a lighthouse from Bermuda identical to the one you saw at a local thrift store. It has a base that the lighthouse rests on, and it holds a candle, which was missing on the one you had shown. Some kind of fairy light I would guess.
great video.

Love Jenny

Hey! I live in Woodstock, Canada but I don't know Iva Crumback.
I am not into avon, but I like that yellow set and the others you saw at the barn!
Some Avon has a really cool retro look to them - and that yellow was so bright and cheery!
Maybe Iva Crumback stamped all her belongings. Therefore the name on the little dog. :) Another good video. I envy your thrift shops. Not so good here in Nova Scotia and items are getting pricier by the day.
I loveeeee flying pigs 😉
love your videos. you are so sweet! really enjoy the voice over. hugs from argentina!
Thank you for watching!🧡🐷
Your are such a delight to watch
