Wow, Indian summer in the NJ/ PA area, love it ! And a huge assortment of gardening literature as well, that would have been something for me to look at. Hope that your tomato plants and the fern are still alive. 😉 And some awesome finds, a little bit of everything. 👌 By the way, Renée: another little package from Hannover to Bloomsbury will be on it´s way next week. The topic will be this time: childhood during wartime. Reformation Day tomorrow over here in Lower Saxony which is a holiday, so we can sleep a little bit longer. Keep it up, and have a very good time ! 🖐Greets from GER, U.
My fern is still looking good & doing well! Tomato plant, that poor guy lasted until mid-September and that was it. With the warm temperatures we are currently having, I can still keep the fern outside. I'll have to find the perfect spot for it once it is time to bring it in! I'll be on the lookout for the package! Enjoy sleeping in a bit longer :0) We switch our clocks back here over the weekend, so we technically get an extra hour of sleep, just means that soon enough it will be dark at 5pm - eek!

All of the blue cans that I picked up were empty! Good thing I checked before I bought them. Buzz’s films travel to the East coast, coming to a theater near you! 🎥
Hello Renee, I love to see your video's and I was happy to see you found something that was made in Belgium. It surprised me that it was with beads and not a lace one because we in Belgium are famous for our lace. But it was very beautiful. I also love all things paper, and to my husband's regrets, can't throw away anything, especially the old memories. Thank you ❤
How long do seeds stay good? I always wondered. Both you and Taco Stacks are tactile shoppers! You both lightly touch your hand over an item before you move on. It seems kind of graceful as if you learn the item and its value by touch. You two are magic!
Oh I love the fancy bag made I Belgium. Belgian is my family heritage on Dads side and I got to visit great grandfathers village in 2001. My distant cousins took me to see a lace makers crafting bobbin lace so beautiful and intricate. Well Renee, once again you have found a treasure that has brought back a wonderful memory for me! No wonder I don't miss a single one of your videos.
@@PaperandMoose as soon as you pulled it out I thought that looks like Whiting & Davis. Comps are kind of all over the place, but that's one you might consider listing online as they can be worth good money.
I just love your channel.. And because of you i am making a memory box up for my son and family of all the ephemera and photo's memoir's etc so hopefully he'll remember my times gone by ❤
That's a great Estate sale haul Rene.🎉😮 I'm glad you found lots of good things you enjoy.🤯🤔😍 I love the vintage Howdy Doody doll and the Pancho Villa marionettes they were really cool pieces.🙌😁 Keep up the great job. Take care.👍🔥❤️💪👌
I'm so glad you had a great time at this estate sale😗💯 so did I. I wish I could have one drawer, just one to go through. In our older age, we have given most of our old items to whichever of them showed interest in something. Sometimes it is sad.
Gardening books! I once found 4 large leather folios, I guess, from Finland in the 1920s - 1950s (one per decade, I think) with pressed plants taped to the pages and descriptions about each. Someone snagged two - and they were expensive - but I was able to get two and gift them to a gardener friends of Finnish descent. Not sure my friend was as excited about them as I was. I figured if there were some seeds, it might be possible to grow some new ones over here. Oh well, win some, lose some. 8:33 - was that a rhinestone shoebuckle? I wonder when those things when out of style? I used to get them occasionally in antique or vintage jewelry sets I for my wife or daughters. They didn't wear them. So somewhere between the Pilgrims and my wife they went out of style. Some of those recipes snd really good. I would have liked to have been at that sale! Glad you had fun and found some good stuff. I bet the junk journalers will be jealous. Have a great Wednesday - looks like the two Storage Unit videos did great so congratulations! And Happy Halloween!
"Somewhere between the Pilgrims and my wife they went out of style" - Haha! :0) I think many crafters use the buckles in their sewing and journals, add a bit of sparkle! I don't recall any of my shoes having buckles, but I did wear saddle shoes, penny loafers, and also what they called "jelly" shoes. Always wanted the Moon Shoes from Nickelodeon, but they were expensive back then... I think they are actually cheaper now on eBay! Granted, if I tried them out now, I'd probably twist my ankle or break something! The storage unit videos did well, so now I'm trying to work in my schedule a day of nothing but research :0) Hope that you have had a good Wednesday & have a piece of candy or two for Halloween!
An interesting mixture of stuff. I would have liked to look through all the drawers myself. Made me wonder, what will be left from my belongings, when I pass away. 🤔 I started to go through my things to give away what I don't need/want anymore. Not an easy task. 😄 You found some interesting things! Cheers Gabriele - Berlin
I love the beaded purses Did you pick up the blue one as well ? The blue one caught my eye for sure I collect the small clutch purses 💖💚💜🇨🇦🦩 Stay Happy 💫✨🌟✨
Hi Renee. WOW! What an amazing score Renee. It's fun to keep a journal of the things they plant ☘️ in their garden. It give them a sense of peace. The recipe books is one great treasure and the magazine's is also a great peace of treasure as well too. I wonder who took the bears 🐻 that were there? And did you get to look for some vintage Halloween 👻🎃 stuff? God Bless you Renee. Have a great Halloween 👻🎃 tomorrow. Say safe my friend. HUG'S 🤗❤️. Mari'a. ❤️🤗❤️🤗🎃👻🎃👻🍁🐈⬛🍂🍂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🎃👻🍂🍁🐈⬛
I believe that the Halloween items were out in the garage. By the time I made my way out there, most of it had been purchased. It was a lot of outdoor decor and larger items, so I'm sure a few people were happy to add to their outdoor decorations! The recipes were a good find. I picked out a few to try! Hope that you have had a wonderful week!
What a great sale! Exactly what I like, but can't buy because I already have too much. Love to watch you looking at it all. Your videos satisfy my craving for going to estate sales.
Old handwritten recipes? Score! I'm always sad to find those but always grab them quickly. I'm envious of a good digger sale like that. They've mostly gone on-line here with all of the good stuff trashed before buyers ever see the sale.
You can tell it was a popular sale by how many times you had to say "excuse me" or "I m going to sneak behind you". I am sure that it is much easier for the estate sale company or family to just open the doors and let the buyers rummage through and pick out what they want. But the tricky part comes at the check-out counter. How in the world do they come up with a price when you plop down your bags filled with numerous random items, none of which are priced? Do they look at every item in the bag or do they just glance in and make up a price? I love those kind of sales too but they are rare in my area.
For the items that I bought, I emptied my bag out and then one of the sale employees gives me a price. I find when a sale is like this, with so much stuff, the prices usually are very reasonable because the company wants to clear out as much as possible for the family. Upstairs in the living room & dining room, there were priced items as well as out in the garage (didn't film there because they had music playing).
Thank goodness for people like you who want to buy these things. Presumably they were bought originally because someone loved them. So nice to think they are going to someone else who will love them.
@@PaperandMoose I'm glad you found vintage bags in such wonderful condition. So often when I find vintage handbags there is a lot of staining or damage. I'm also glad the handbags were discovered by you. You have a genuine appreciation for all things vintage. Happy Halloween!
