- What Is EECP?
Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) is performed as a non-invasive treatment to lower the number and intensity of angina episodes. Treatment is administered through three pairs of external inflatable cuffs that are applied around the lower legs, upper legs and buttocks.
Is EECP better than bypass surgery?
One of the greatest benefits of EECP is that it removes plaque from the coronary arteries without invasive surgeries. Plaque is not removed during bypass surgery, but a path is manually created to allow blood to flow to other parts of the heart muscles.
Can EECP remove blockage?
Absolutely Yes ..!! EECP Treatment creates a natural bypass system all around the blocked blood vessels. The creation of a natural bypass system is completely independent of the level of blockages and this is how our body treats all the blockages together despite the level of blocks.
Is EECP better than angioplasty?
