Best settings for playing SteamVR using just your Cardboard headset and PC [UPDATED]

Guy's do not follow the settings on screen, those are just examples of the UI that you would see, apply the settings that I mention.
Also for anyone looking for games that will work with VR, just go to steam - search VR - enable the VR supported filter - and if you all you have is a controller, then enable the Full Controller Support Filter.

@@tyedfui i think so. you cant do every thing like you could with a normal controller but if you have some coding knowledge you might be able to use the gyros

hi, i came here to find a better alternative and free to iriun, not because of the quality, it wouldnt even connect to my phone, and ivry time limit sucks, although i know its cheap, but where im from its like 10 times more expensive, so is there any other free vr app?

I can't get the dashboard to close on the vr when opening a game i remapped all the controls and still have problems

hey so i really loved this kind of tutorial it really helped me very much but im in trouble figuring out if iVRy supports controllers (can be VR ones). im mostly trynna figure out if ps5 controllers on iVRy can be used as motion hand controllers in iVRy. if you do know please do a tutorial explaining how do i set it up and how do i make it come true.

I was thinking about that, i don't think so. Driver4vr would be the app that would do it, but they have no support for it. If your using a Xbox or PlayStation controller, you can only send input.

im trying to get this working but Ivry keeps defaulting to wireless and ivry doesnt start up in my PC using steam

Ivry defaulting may be because of the settings you've chosen, or you not being wired. Ivry not starting up in steam, doesn't make sense. Could you elaborate on the issue?

@@realrgtproductions I do connect my phone (which is an Samsung Galaxy A24) to my PC, i do change the settings for both wired and wireless but each time i try and use it it lags and stutters and to check if i am actually connected i disconnect it from my PC and it keeps going.
in short, it just doesnt do it even if i am physically connected to my PC

That means that it isn't actually connected through wired connection. Make sure you turn on USB tethering, after connecting your phone to your pc. This will turn off your WIFI on your phone, if it connects, then you know it is wired connection.

motion tracking won't. you can use them as controllers, but you'll need something else for motion tracking.
