if you just want it for camera mod but your on quest, here's a few things i do 1. get you friend to act as a camera and send you the footage 2. have your friend dress up as you and then you can voice over 3. see if any of you friends and family have high end computers you can run SteamVR on

the face cosmetics thing happens on Quest too - you just can't see it. There are multiple models for face cosmetics, the weird stretched ones are so you can see through them clearer in first person. The face cosmetic you see in the mirror is on a layer that only makes it visible in the mirror, therefore camera mods can see those weird versions since the camera isn't on a mirror layer.
the reason face cosmetics look like that is for the vision. like the laundry bucket in the modern house update, it looked REALLY funky, but it was for thow it looked through your eyes. other people dont see the funky shape of it
1:50 okay, the reason for this is because when you put on a cosmetic that covers your face, it changes its shape so you can see through it but everyone else and the mirror sees it normally.
While paying $20 dollars just for a pcvr gorilla tag might be a pain, Once you get into the game, you get 5000 additional shiny rocks with the 500 that you usually get when starting.

October 8th, 2022, I was playing on stand-alone for the Quest 2. I notice that funne little monkey game that was broken a while back. I decide to give the game another chance, free of bugs. Eversince, I have played exclusively on standalone.
Steam movement is a bit more unpredictable though sometimes you go farther than others with the same amount of force, I was gonna have a part for that in the video but I cut it out

as a person who got pcvr kinda recently i get alot of lagspikes and my screen turns into really low quality sometimes (not sure if its just my pc/internet) but i can say the movement makes me SO MUCH better at running on ground, flicking, wallrunning, branching long jumps and high jumps
I don’t mostly recommend switching from quest to steam, as most of the time, steam servers can break on gorilla tag and there are also lots of bugs. FYI Andromeda, most of the time, cosmetics break due to Yizzis camera mod.
I do have something to say about the facial cosmetic glitches The reason some of them are buggy is because the game alters the way they look and how you see them when actually playing. ex: the 2024 glasses. They are extremely stretched out and placed on the corners of your eyes to create the illusion that your wearing them normally. At least I think that’s why they’re broken, because none of them are quite fixed and haven’t been for years.

Valve players seem to move faster occasionally is it due to extra arm length different prediction or modifications or is it really just the same?
I’ve had steam vr for a while now. I can say I’ve never had more trouble getting mods for a game compared to gorilla tag. The base computer interface mod from monke mod manager doesn’t even work (at least for me). This is the main mod that you need for all your other mods to work and it’s broken. Unbelievable

Heres what happens when I play on steam, I get reported for BEING on SteamVR like if someone figures out, I'm on steam they just instantly report me. And the worse bug about SteamVR is when you run you float in the air.
IMO, the oculus pc app version is the best. Not only can you get mods, it signs you into your quest account so you can have all of your cosmetics and sync data from your oculus pc app to ur quest account. Also the oculus pc app version doesn’t get the bug where you can only see through one eye for some objects. That’s a bug only steam vr gets. Also the face cosmetics are like that for all platforms. It’s just fitted onto your view to make it more pleasant to look through but it looks normal for other people and the mirror.
on steamvr you can not buy sets because it is technically a dlc and else you could buy it when id isnt supposed to be bought and because there would be like 10000 dlcs

the movement is broken and you have to be on 72-60 hz to fix it i think and when an update released (i forgot which one) it changed the steam vr physics so its a lot harder to run on ground and do walls.. i only use pc for videos but for anything else i use quest
one thing I experience in steam vr is that sometimes when theres a new update when I hit launch gorilla tag on steam it just crashes/ freezes. Usally to fix this I launch gorilla tag through standalone, play around for a couple minutes and then try launch through steamvr and most of the time it works

watch out for steamvr cause when your on ground u can get reported for floating in the air when u funny run. unless its just me of course

i only want steam for camera mod, or to see unreleased cosmetics
Honestly, the only reason i want a pc for vr is just so that i can have bark mod and camera mod, it seems so fun :)
for bark to work you have to be in a modded with utilla just saying

on steamvr you can not buy sets because it is technically a dlc and else you could buy it when id isnt supposed to be bought and because there would be like 10000 dlcs

As a steamvr player I seen a lot of Moder it’s sad asf bro 😢 I hate ppl that use mods and in steam ppl say that you are cheating with you are not really

i use steam vr due to not mods but sliperry walls are way easier to get on and it's easier to change hz you can also use a soundboard on privates

The reason I wanna have mods is because it will grant me access to having camera mod for my vids and more content to post with custom maps ect and bc having modded lobbies with other modders is just fun in general (I would never cheat in a normal pub lobby and if I were to even though I wouldn’t it would probably be a casual) also the reason I don’t have access to steam is bc the £20 so yes I do hate cheaters who just cheat in infection with illegal mods..
the movement is broken and you have to be on 72-60 hz to fix it i think and when an update released (i forgot which one) it changed the steam vr physics so its a lot harder to run on ground and do walls.. i only use pc for videos but for anything else i use quest
In my opinion I like the different physics on steam vr, if you get used to them you can go faster than quest players

My experience with SteamVR even though I don’t have a pc I really like SteamVR because I can use all of my favorite mod menus
the second problem is the camera mod being bugged not the game
one thing I experience in steam vr is that sometimes when theres a new update when I hit launch gorilla tag on steam it just crashes/ freezes. Usally to fix this I launch gorilla tag through standalone, play around for a couple minutes and then try launch through steamvr and most of the time it works
Seems like an issue with your pc, or hardware you have. Maybe a headset issue.

I personally want illegal mods to do fun things. I’m not gonna crash games or kick people from lobbies. What I went to do is something like go into a private lobby and play a funny sound while doing something with it. Stuff like that. I don’t think that’s wrong?
