Hey! The FG820 is a simple, affordable guitar that will serve you well, especially if you intend to use it as an instrument to carry around (camping, friends' houses, etc). The setup on the one I had for the demo didn't have any fret buzz. Sometimes, in shops and when you order a guitar from a dealer, the guitars have been transported and/or laying around for a while and eventually need some adjusting (truss rod adjustments, fret filing, etc). This is just an eventuality on almost all guitars. The 830 is a very similar guitar, but has more traditional rosewood back and sides, which are very nice. Hey! Thanks for watching and good luck picking out a guitar! You could always add a pickup later on (or even use a magnetic soundhole pickup when you need it) and you can add an extra strap button. Also, a series called FGX is available that already has electronics, so you could consider that also.
