Good for you with the carnivore diet. Ive been on keto/mostly meat diet with intermittent fasting for 7 months and im down 70 pounds. I still have about 40-50 more to go, but my hypertension is gone and ive gone from 3x shirt to xl. It's the best way I've found that works for me.

Kind of tricky now because my garden is producing and in the old days when I was much younger that would mean most meals were vegetable centered. But the zucchini and Swiss Chard I can eat and peppers and eggplant and cucumbers, cant eat all I want tho, the tomatoes I need to control myself with. I do really miss the pizzas with the fresh veggies most of all. But I don't miss my arthritis and headaches and tiredness at all.

Nah, those are what impede weight loss and overall healthy living. Carb-free living is the answer to weight loss, not exercise, atleast for many people. Just treat it like a restriction diet. Start off replacing 1 thing out of your normal meals at a time for a couple days, then 2 things, then 3. After a couple weeks you will be well on your way to carnivore. Figure out what you can live without in your meals, like dropping the carbs, and maybe maybe adding in something else to replace them, even veggies in the beginning. e.g. adding 1 onion and 1 tomato to a meal instead of having potatoes, or cauli rice instead of white rice. Then later on changing the percentage of meat to vegetable ratio in your meals.
Just note that once on carnivore you can't have anything else. It sets you back on your diet, brings back a lot of health issues, and stimulates your cravings. So prepare carnivore snacks, or stock up on burger patties and eggs and get an electric grill to make them super fast.

That is amazing! Im 29 years old. All my life (save college) i have sturggled with my weight. I am currently tipping the scales at 300 pounds. I feel awful every day. I cant get to the gym because of my exhaustive and demading work schedule of 12-14 hours a day. I had heard about this diet several years ago and didnt think much of it. About 6-8 months ago my older brother started having heart problems. Long story short he had to chage up his diet. He went carnivore. Had i not seen him in person, i never would have believed his reults. 60 POUNDS IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, and that was with no gym. Now, he is down around 100 pounds and just now starting back in the gym. This has inspired me to start the carnivore diet. I'm very excited (and a little nervous) to do this. But I'm tired of living like i am and honestly looking like i am. Being too embarrassed to go out and do stuff because of my weight.. not going on dates.. I'm just sick of it. So i have committed to the carnivore diet and my next round to the grocery store (in a few days) I'll be starting up on this. The lowest I've been since college was 229 and that was with hours upon hours of exercise. My goal is 100 pounds. I have doubts but I'm going to give it all i have. Mind over matter. Thank you for sharing this. If anyone has any tips, resources, etc., it would be appreciated and i am all ears. This is the first diet i have actually been excited about going on! However, i want to see this more as a lifestyle change rather than "diet."

Now, I know that I eat good 99% of the time and my body is healthier now than it's ever been, so it can handle a couple cookies or an iced mocha every couple of months and it's not going to kill me. Just the thought of never eating anything sweet again for the rest of my life was scary and depressing to me, and made me not want to go full carnivore. Hi there, Mr Wolfe!
I'm back doing carnivore after a hiccup too. It's hard for me to resist fruit in the summer. The cantaloupes from round here are so sweet.
Anyhow, I've been thinking about trying to make more carnivore meals that are some kind of 'recipe.' I enjoy cooking and I miss it.
I know that you can make carnivore bread. I think it's whipped up cooked egg and powdered pork rinds.
I can make a carnivore microwave cheesecake! Mix a very heaped tablespoon of as fatty as possible cream cheese or mascapone. (I can find a brand of mascapone here in France with only 2g carbs per 100g) with an egg and a squeeze each of lemon juice and vanilla.
Add some stevia to taste. Microwave until done.
With some imagination I'm sure you could reverse engineer a key limr cheesecake.
    All the best x
Oh, and I found some protein powder made out of beef isolate. It's beef, but flavoured with chocolate and it's still practically 0 carb. I've ordered it and it should be coming on Friday. I'm going to use the chocolate flavoured beef powder to make chocolate cake by mixing it with some egg and butter.
    There's ALWAYS a way, Larry.

LOL Going to try to minimize it by eating a big ribeye steak before I go visit my friends. Glad to hear you got back on track right away. That was my problem before. I did KETO for about a year and a half and lost 120lbs. Halloween rolled around and I decided it was ok to eat some chocolate. I've always had a sweet tooth the size of Texas and I never stopped eating sweets. I gained 55lbs back in the next year and a half. Tried to start up Keto again, but after 2 weeks I actually gained a couple lbs. That's when I decided to try Carnivore and after 4 days I had already lost 4lbs. I know it's probably mostly water, but I needed that little bit of success to set my mind straight to continuing.

Great to hear about your successes. As someone who’s done keto/carnivore for around four years now, you’ll come to the realization that what you were told was “healthy” is hardly the case.
Just watch the carb/sugar intake. You don’t have to go ultra strict (like I did), but as long as you keep the carb intake to under 20mg a day, you should be fine.
More important is hydration (especially with electrolytes)- you MUST keep hydrated as you’ll start feeling like crap otherwise.

Also, restaurant food has a lot of sodium, so that's going to be an issue with bloating and swelling. Not trying to be critical with these comments, Just observational from own concerns. I know if I do it, I'll want to have breaks, but I wouldn't want to undo everything. I may also need to eat cheap for budget reasons and I worry about ending up worse off than when I started if that happens. I will also add that I love a fresh garden tomato sandwich. At the same day i usually go out with my friends and consume some alcohol, but i try to consume something like vodka with mineral water so it doesn´t have carbs. I also could eat like kebab with salad and there would not be much of carbs, but some times i just like to go chinese buffet or good pizza place and eat good pizza.
The day after eating carbs i have those same joint pains what i don´t have in keto diet. I also have headache and feel awfull overall. I also get some gas problems and have to fart alot. I rearly fart when i´m on ketosis. I might have dhiarrea too. All those things just remind my that why it is better to stay in ketosis and keep this lifestyle up.

I'm sure your daughter is a wonderful person but she's probably healthy and doesn't understand that food is medicine for you. Would a person say, "please don't bring your CPAP/insulin/heart-meds along this time, I want to have fun!"? No, no one that loves you would suggest that, yet nagging you to eat the toxic SAD (standard American diet) is every bit as bad. At least you learned a lesson that you couldn't have learned any other way! That is that the diet most Americans eat is terrible for their health. We grocery shopped while we were at the beach. We also limited ourselves to one-meal-per-day at restaurants. It involved some careful selections from the menus, but we came out of it only a few pounds heavier (water weight). Gone are the days of large pizzas and pitchers of beer... too many carbs and too many bad reactions.
Glad you came through OK. Good luck on your journey.

I'm liking this content and Congrats! I've been carnivore since 1/19 & weighed 277. I'm down to 230 and that includes a vacation where I didn't eat great. Fried fish w/ breading etc. Now I didn't fall off the wagon and eat a lot of bread but I didn't lose or gain weight for 2 weeks because of it. Now I'm what they would say is a ketovore. I've added in things like salsa with my eggs & bacon. Nothing crazy. I eat a serving of peanuts with every meal as it makes my poo situation better. No more hard lumpy poos and 1 time a day.

Been carnivore for 18 months now after I hit 301 lbs. Now granted I'm 6'3 and fairly muscular, but that was a lot of fat. I'm down 55 lbs, bleeding gums since I was a teen, planar faceitis that caused me to start limping in the last year, the excessive farting, the acid reflux nightly that would even choke me out in my sleep, all of it gone. Waist size went from a 44 to a 38. I'll never go back.
I find that I can once every couple of months eat a carb diet, but only for a single meal. And that will still make my bowels disagree, but it's only for the next day.

My bro I have cheated and after I did two donuts from krispie kream I felt so terrible. That feeling followed me for about two and half days… I can relate. The donuts were the worst. I think white flour and white sugar and all these deep fried things and bad food combinations are the cause to all my issues. I find that if I just eat as clean as possible with grass fed and high quality meats I feel better all the itching and pain lessens etc. I just find carnivore makes me a little more constipated than usual so I have been flirting with some fruit like apples a bit. Too much fat doesn’t feel so good to me. I actually feel kinda dirty for some reason. I can still eat it but my brain says it’s making me dirty. I actually found that doing a dry fast actually makes me feel the best. I try to do those every once in while if I have that chance. God bless no stress. Thank you for your time

Shop at Aldi. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. Buy ribeye or chuck steak. If you only eat meat it’s $200 a month. That cheaper than almost any weekly grocery shopping. When you feel like cheating eat one piece of cold bacon from the fridge or put a pinch of salt under your tongue. Stops cravings

The bloating is from the carbs (bread), if you suddenly go back to eating it, it will mess up your digestive system, also onions, coleslaw will also mess you up, eating kale and seafood is fine I even it it, but I know the other stuff was tempting but I don't think I could stomach that for a week tbh
Flush and detox your system, even if you have to drink water for a couple of days and have light foods, when I eat foods with sugar I also detox because that takes a long time to leave my body

I find it interesting how unhealthy food is in the US. Everything was deep fried or in batter (breading), hardly any vegetables, loads of fast food etc… Good job you found a diet that suits you (carnivore). I did the same diet for 2 months last year and also lost a lot of weight. Now I tend to eat mainly low carb (about 1,5g-2g protein per KG bodyweight) in a calorie deficit with sports, eating vegetables with every meal and drinking mainly water (maybe 1 liter of Diet Coke/ 32 fl. ounces a week) and that’s how I feel good right now. Keep it going!!

Every diet has its pros and it's cons; mind you that you might be unintentionally starving or ignoring some of the vitamins your body needs from different types of foods. For instance I was on a Lectin free diet and began to get jaundice. It turned out that the Lectin free diet was iron deficient and my multivitamin was only adding 15% of the daily🃏✌️
