Hey Pete, it may be helpful to say that the usb + lightning adapter can be also used to give power to external drives. With the small adapter you can only plug pen drives because they need much less energy to work, but the iPad cannot provide enough energy to make the big hard drives work, so there is when the big adapter comes to action.

Haven’t used that particular microphone so not sure if it’s class compliant, it most work. If it doesn’t need a separate specific driver to work then it’s probably fine.

Yes. If it is a standard class compliant keyboard it should work fine for at least the basic keyboard commands. iOS won’t support any of the custom keys however as they require a separate driver and are not compatible with iOS.

Hey there. Yes, mixers and interfaces can introduce latency (lag/delay) in to the signal which can be frustrating. The best bet is to use the mixer/interface's headphone jack as most offer latency free monitoring that way.

It’s just my opinion but if you’re getting revenue for advertising, having onscreen titles for the devices you are talking about is much more professional as it’s clear to your audience what you are reviewing. Perhaps using the actual device you’re talking about to add that capability would help

The good news is that USB-C is a standard protocol, so any USB-C to USB-A adapter should work. There are also lots of hubs and rocks you can use which provide network, power, USB, headphones, etc

Pete I am using a mv88 mic for the iPhone and we use it to video our jam in our group . The problem I have is I would like a usb to record on from my iPhone and have a port for usb that I seen you have but I would need 2 lightning ports plus a usb connection. One port for charging and one port for my mic plus of course one for charging while we play . Hopefully this can be done. Nice channel .

Hey there Jack. USB is thankfully backwards compatible so any USB 2/3 devices should still support a USB 1 connection from a device.

Haven’t used that particular microphone so not sure if it’s class compliant, it most work. If it doesn’t need a separate specific driver to work then it’s probably fine.

Yes. If it is a standard class compliant keyboard it should work fine for at least the basic keyboard commands. iOS won’t support any of the custom keys however as they require a separate driver and are not compatible with iOS.

I tried using the usb to lightning 3 adapter with my behringer usb mixer, and recording into my iPad, but for some reason there was some delay with the video compared to the sound, is there any tips? Or anything I could do to keep that from happening?
Hey there. Yes, mixers and interfaces can introduce latency (lag/delay) in to the signal which can be frustrating. The best bet is to use the mixer/interface's headphone jack as most offer latency free monitoring that way.

It’s just my opinion but if you’re getting revenue for advertising, having onscreen titles for the devices you are talking about is much more professional as it’s clear to your audience what you are reviewing. You’re giving a lot of information very quickly and although you have some of the info listed below, it’s better to add titles to the video. Perhaps using the actual device you’re talking about to add that capability would help

So yes, if you use the camera app and shoot a video, the audio will use the microphone or interface input you have set up.

Pete I am using a mv88 mic for the iPhone and we use it to video our jam in our group . The problem I have is I would like a usb to record on from my iPhone and have a port for usb that I seen you have but I would need 2 lightning ports plus a usb connection. One port for charging and one port for my mic plus of course one for charging while we play .

Howdy. I’ve had several similar reports. Initially it seemed to be affecting the non- genuine ones only but seems to be more widespread to the genuine Apple Lightning to USB 3 adapter now. I’m doing some testing and will share my findings here if they’re relevant.
