Not pre warned means any written Authority is not given to LP at the Station. It means train is going on Signal. Then why are you thinking that block working is suspended.
Sir, in the case of LP was prewarned that ib signal at on, what purpose do the plct serve? Does the plct give the private number that the rear sm got from next sm as a consent to start a train into axle counter section? Why is not only to take t369(3b) sufficient? You also said that rear sm will make sure that no level crossing gates are open before giving plct. Does that mean gate signals are also suspended like ibs signal? Then should LP ignore the 'ON' aspect of gate and ibs signals upto next station in this case? My another issue is that a few days back at a station starter and advanced starter were green, and only t369(3b) (no another form of plct was given) was given for upcoming defective ibs signal with a private number written at the space where in that form it is printed that " ** in case of failure of advanced starter signal / last stop signal..." So my question here is as advanced starter was given green from red, then to write a private number in t369(3b) at the space for failed advance starter makes no sense to me. Please again clarify what is the purpose of private number in t369(3b) and private number in plct serve? And in my case was the sm should have issued a plct a mandatory thing? Was it a wrong procedure to not to issue plct? Should the LP demand plct from the SM in the prewarned case even after the SM says the LSS is not defective as he can put it from red to green to start the train?
As per G&SR rules if any one failed (Axle Counter/Adv Starter/IB Sig/Block Instrument), IB working should be suspended & both the Section should be treated as one Section. LP should be given PLCT +T/369(3b) Speed-normal If SM is using Adv Starter when IB Sig is not working, it is short cut method and not permitted in the rules. When SM is giving PLCT, he will ensure closing of all LC gates. As a LP we have to follow the Gate Signal if any. Since IB working is suspended & IB signal at on, therefore any IB connected gate signal will be non interlocked & Gateman has to close, LP has to follow gate rule
