  • Hey, y'all! Today's video is another YOGA POSE TUTORIAL & we are learning SIDE LUNGE or SKANDASANA. This pose is great for stretching the hips, hamstrings, & challenging your balance. It is a pose that you will see in yoga sequences occasionally. I like to use this pose myself as a hip opener & transition pose.     How do you keep your feet flat when you lower ur hips down? My heels lift & i feel like im gonna fall. Any tips?

      you may still need to build the flexibility needed for the full expression of the posture. you can keep your hips up higher to keep your foot flat, rather than lowering all the way down until you’re comfortable going lower
