How many PC handhelds would you be OK to drop?😊 But I wouldnt buy this for windows or steam. No I got mine mostly for emulation purposes. Why not android? Well then youre stuck with everything else that comes with android OS that you dont need for emulation. And,you are limited as to what emulators are available for android. I started emulation on android (well symbian actually) so Im no stranger to it but overtime Ive come to realize how much better custom linux OS's are,for emulation. And so,I didnt wanna spend a fortune at the time so went for this. Loki zero wasnt available at the time. They kept pushing the date. But as for emulation,did you try Batocera? For emulating through windows on it,no,not as good. I run Batocera internally from a 2TB SSD. And I can run most ps2 at 2x (upscaled to the 720P of the screen) Some at 1x though,like God of War 1 and 2. But they still look good at 1x on the 6" screen. Saturn,Dreamcast,N64,PS1 etc can all be upscaled to the res of the screen. Gamecube most run upscaled too,most..not all. And cause Im not running android,Batocera on this lets me play systems that arent on android. Like Naomi 2,Wii U,xbox and PC games for eg even within Batocera. Yes,not all games from those systems run,or at full speed,but some do and youd be suprised at how many xbox games run great,some at 2x. Ive added a bunch of older PC games,not AAA recent titles ofcourse,but MK9 runs great with enhanced graphics. Even Killer Instinct PC runs good,but on low graphic settings ofcourse. I also have some PS3 games running great. Now you arent going to get many of those running lets be honest. And nothing 3D heavy,no way. Street Figher IV ps3 runs great suprisingly. So for my purpose,and what I wanted it for its pretty good. Plays everything I wanted it too,and then some. Again,Im running Batocera only and I wouldnt of bought it if I was playing PC only stuff. The dpad,buttons all feel great,the screen is great and Ive had no issues with the screen. Single channel RAM is fine for emulation. Bad points,battery life,about 2 to 3 depending on what you are playing,as in emulation. While I find the speakers plenty loud and clear,they defo lack bass,little to none here. It doesnt sound tinny,just bass is missing. The analog sticks I dont find the left stick placement bad,it is a reach if you are using that and shoulder buttons at same time,joystick risers help a little though. What I dont like is they just dont feel precise,wish they would of used proper size ones on this device. If I was to buy one now Id defo opt for the Loki Zero but AYN take so long from announce to release I gave up waiting. While I wouldnt recommend the win600 now,not for its price anyway. For when I got it and what I wanted it for Im still happy. But next,Id prob get an OLED steam deck. If I could afford it. Steamdecks arent sold officially locally in AUS,you can get them locally online and thanks to the oled model the price of the reg models have fallen a little but we are still paying way more here if we wanna buy one. A classic case of not researching the product enough before buying, there were many reviews of this device around it came out and it showed ALOT of its flaws within most reviews, including screen issues, ergonomics, and the dreaded single channel ram. It’s especially worse due to the fact of the Loki Zero having the same specs for way less with dual channel ram
Within the time this came out to now there has been so much better options .the Loki zero has the same chip yet the ergonomics r 10 times better, u could buy a rog ally z1 for 400 , 340-360 used or open box , n ayaneo just released the next lite which is such a good product for the price. It’s great to see the market evolve with time. We reached such a cool period where the technology for gaming is so high even low end stuff can do plenty. I will feel sorry for anyone who buys the win600 for anything more than 200 bucks. Nice video ! I got a steam deck it’s still the champ in my opinion.

Id consider one for pixel graphics style games like cassette beasts, coromon, nexomon, etc for like 150 lol.
