Clicked like as soon as I read BRING BACK THE ELAN. For years I wished someone would make an Elan type sled with modern tech. Same weight and physical size but a more aggressive track, more clearance and some suspension travel, light weight materials for the cab and body/frame, reliable rewind, ect. Until I got my Polaris Big Boss 6x6 with tracks I was still using my 1980 MotoSki Spirit (an Elan with a pointy front) to break all my trails then pack them with more modern sleds.
Never mind those biggest and baddest new sleds so you can ride the biggest and baddest mountain. Instead, get ahold of and elan and you’ll be able to ride anywhere feeling like your in the deepest of the back county, and plus you’ll have wads and wads of cash left over and you’ll be having more fun garenteed. The only problem is, only the most skilled of the skilled riders can handle the wild ride the elan will take you on. 🙃
I had a 1979 TNT that would watercross like a champ I've done this many times it is a lot of fun as long as you do it safely and you're not in water that's too deep are too far from land it's okay in my books...
What do u run for tracks on the elans? I had 3 when I was a kid, two bubble noses actually and an actual elan just like the black 1. I just remembered the 1\8th" lug tracks, lol. Do u put an aftermarket track or are they factory?
@@PowerModzOfficial I have a '91 that was my grand fathers, he passed a couple years ago so I feel like I should take care of it. It's pretty near mint being on only the second set of skags and drive belt. The biggest issue that it had was that water got behind the powder coating in a lot of places on the chassis and caused a lot of rust. I had to strip the inside of the tunnel down to bare metal (with a wire wheel no less) and shoot it with some epoxy based paint (VHT glossy black chassis and roll bar paint from Crappy Tire - best spray paint I ever used btw). Have you seen this happen with these older sleds?
Haha yes been waiting for part 2!!
more coming!
@@PowerModzOfficial Got mine ready for 2022!
Those old sleds look like a wicked good time! You sure know how to use em too!

Maybe time to make a custom seat made out of a styrofoam floatation block and securely mount it to the sled?
R u going to the bug bear mudrun this year it's actually warm this time

Hi Mark, just email through my website www.powermodz.com please! or on facebook!
In what parts of Canada do you hang around that you carry a rifle? even the bears are nice... :)
Good times. Pick up a few hero 7 black cameras. They are much better than those old cameras.
Lol who needs a 10thousand dollar sled, looks like a ten dollar sled gets her done
