Nice... I love watching this kind of video where everyone is enjoying the occasion... especially those whose sleds did not make it and the spectators help pulling the machines out! Thanks SisterSammy3 for posting, I enjoyed it!

Great video, Love to see them old girls, I was disappointed there was no elan trying her luck at the water LOL. I used to run an elan & than an Olympic at the puddle jump.
Cool! They do the same where I'm from in ontario they cut 250 feet long 15 feet wide on the pond and rip shit some crazy sleds running avv gas and shit pretty wild
fun to see people that never done it b4 doing it, its easy when u get hang of it. do it in the summer though so you dont have to freeze to death if u go down :)
There usually are a few cops around, but as long as no one is causing a lot of trouble, they mind their own business. Not sure how much longer that will last though... Thanks for watching!
I just wanted to see one person already going fast and just got all the way across it doing one speed, not slow then goosing it in the middle to wheely...
@@nybergsgarage Plus, riding these new sleds for four hours, and then doing three hours of maintenance, and a couple hundred bucks for parts every time you go out just doesn't make sense.
@@iblockpuncheswithmyface1490 wait, you can do maintanence on modern sleds? Well, maybe if you dig through sixty layers of plastic and computers and cables...
6:05 is the best wheelie hands down.
The one right after that was probably better. Had way more control of the sled
Amazing how the new sleds just launch out of the water...while the old machines just skip across at best. I've done this on the old stuff...great fun
6:22 wouldnt drop his beer x)
That's alcohol abuse buddy 🍻
You never drop a beer
1:55 that one guy who always destroys the competition
3:50 - Shout out to the boys who saved that old 377 - good on ya, another day of senden!
Nope, it's in Pickerel, Wisconsin. This is technially a Polar Bear Jump In event, but everyone brings their sleds to waterskip before and after.
Ever been to Grantsburg, Wi for the Watercross championship?
Y’all are Americans? They skip so bad

haha it seems that the rescue crew could be a bit more productive if they all didnt have a beer in one hand.
lol i can see it now "oh holy shit, hold my beer"

anybody else see the last clip when the guys sled almost went down a blue beer bottle plopped out of the water?
This is the Pickerel Lake I'm thinking of! My grandma used to have her camper on Pickerel. Loved playing mini golf at Shoes!
Im sd?
you're welcome! Another one should be posted February of 2014 :)
I must say the new Ski doo's rock at that lol
Glad to see the north woods getting some attention. I’ve been to one of these about 10-12 years ago. it’s about 10 miles from my cabin
The guy on the Arctic Cat CrossFire is pretty good. Same with the guy on the Polaris Assault.
I couldn’t tell if the exhaust was keeping them up or the track!!!! Dammmm there are some loud sleds
I don't think skimming was as popular in the old days for obvious reasons. The winner of the biggest set goes to the one with the Raider.
Looks like a good time. Gotta put that one on the bucket list. Exactly which pickerel lake is this?
Awsome! I wish I could go but I live in Maine... So cool!
haha...man that looks fun...wish my lil Canadian town was this kewl
Great video, Love to see them old girls, I was disappointed there was no elan trying her luck at the water LOL. I used to run an elan & than an Olympic at the puddle jump.
Had a 292 TNT and then a 399 Olympic back in the day - doubt either of 'em would make it across that puddle, lol.
Love the music !
7:29 is literally the first yamaha colored sled i saw lol
Yamaha is the best
Good time with good tunes. Great video.
thank you!

Where that? Maybe I can go
Now that's a party
A wise Chinese man once said: if the dog barks, its undercooked
bruh i cant stop laughing
This is stolen😂😂 go look at the original one and laugh
Ah cool thanks for the reply!!
Not sure where that is ! All though i have worked lots in green bay-milwaukee
It's about 2 hours north and slighlty west of Green Bay. Yearly event the 2nd weekend in February!
fun to see people that never done it b4 doing it, its easy when u get hang of it. do it in the summer though so you dont have to freeze to death if u go down :)
I just love it when the parts start flying off the sleds.
That's puddle jumpin.
I've seen skipping across a whole lake.
We hold the Watercross World Championship in my hometown in Wi. This is nothing
From what I see, it is scheduled for Feb 8th this year. A good rule of thumb is the 2nd Saturday of February!
+Charlie Terry Pickerel, WI
Good songs from 2013
This is why I love my state
1:50 the best one hands down
nucking futs - looked like a lot of fun.
that little modded Polaris is just like I am so better then theys 2010-2013 lol
hold my beer i got this
last one stopped itself from sinking by hooking the skis on the edge of the ice :)
In finland we drive with those at summer instehead of boats
Alot of older sleds hahaha. Looks like theres a good mood over there.
Wondering if they still have the crank siren in the bar
That was excellent are there any new ones since this was put on?
Thank you! There is one from 2014, and a few older ones as well. I haven't made it there in a while, hope to again soon!
Hell yea thats right im from north Wisconsin ladysmith wisconsin
Looks soo fun!!
You call that waterskipping in america?:D
Great taste of music
Looks like a lot of FUNNNNNNNNNN ----Brendt in Colorado
Im happy to see no cops were there to put a stop to all this fun.
awesome video
Then some old dude just slowly drives into the water, submerges, and him and his sled just come out on the otherside! Lol! Be cool to see!
Looks like a blast
Good ol' pickerel!
There usually are a few cops around, but as long as no one is causing a lot of trouble, they mind their own business. Not sure how much longer that will last though... Thanks for watching!
It will last forever 9 years later crowds bigger and water holes bigger
I feel the need to point out the obvious seriousness about all of those people drinking beer and standing on the ice near open water...hahahahahahaaaa
This is making me wanna go snowmobiling
soo good!!!!
The show got better as they drank more beer!
I just wanted to see one person already going fast and just got all the way across it doing one speed, not slow then goosing it in the middle to wheely...
cool video thanks!
All those sleds at the beginning. I remember riding ones like that when I was a kid. Back around early/mid 80's.
My only sleds are old ones. Drive them primarily. Nothing new, as I don't have ten thousand bucks to drop on a recreational piece of equipment.

I miss this shit good luck doing this anymore the good times are gone
SINK @ 3:04 , 3:41 , close @ 5:45 but 5seconds later...
Then a half sinking @ 6:17 and @ 9:23 is when a NEW SLED goes under....enjoy
That's a lot of Arctic Cats in the beginning!
they wanna trash them LOL
Kyle Hartl and then comes ski doo and Polaris
the whole town is there
far more people than the whole town :)
What happened at the end what leaked out of the sled ?
It could have been dirt it picked up from the bottom it's only 3-4 feet deep
How come there no Polaris Indy? My 600 would skip across like the ones. I bet it would cat walk across it like that
I'm crying that winter is over and I have to put the sleds away
Awesome seeing over a million views on an are place
This is like puddle skipping
So sorry to disappoint you....
I knew without even reading the caption that this was Wisconsin. It just looks like something from Wisconsin. Green Bay here, go Pack.
TheRobbyK to bad they didn’t make it to the playoffs... jk fuck um
Fishing_Wisconsin I hear ya.
This is a little weak in terms of distance but fun to watch
Arctic cat all the way good video
The new sleds should be going the long way... any mid 90s 440&up Liquid cooled should be able to do a 100yards on water
That artic cat f7 is the loudest one there,
is this pickerel Ontario?
Pickerel, Wisconsin
and river made out of moonshine right? :DD
I've lived in South Florida my whole life I've never even seen a snowmobile
