Just found your channel (today actually) and you have me hooked. I work a full time (not youtube) job also and I wouldn't want to quit it for youtube. I also travel a lot for my job. But I also struggle with finding balance sometimes. Looking forward to learning more about you as I think I'll find you really relatable! 💕
At the young age of 60 the phrase I have used all my life is “I can rest when I’m dead” especially when our plans are a chilled evening and kids or grandkids ask up to join them then, that convinced me to go have exhausting fun with all my kiddos 🤣 P.S. I was a working mum from day 1 - you’re doing an awesome job and never let anyone dull your sparkle ⭐️
Your braces look great, Jen. It’s also good to see that smile in professional pics, as it is a real example of taking care of yourself. Making personal improvements for ourselves, as you always share with us, is good for all to see! Repeating what I stated in the first sentence…you honestly look great in your braces! Really! 🧡 P.S. My husband has access to some of those lounges because of his status with various credit card companies, it’s sometime like a bonus you can hit. And you’re right, they’re so great when you have a long layover.

After 25 years of waiting for my dream job, I recently accepted a position as Director of Operations for an In-Home care agency and I am working from home for the first time! It's different! Thank you for all of your amazing content and hope to see more content on your working habits and methods!
Glad to see your travel videos are back. I will be traveling again soon for work as well and this gets me motivated. Those early fly out days are the worst especially if you are in a different time zone.
One of my best travel tips is: Leave your clothes on the hanger and put a dry cleaning bag over them and fold them over in the suitcase. When you arrive, hang them up in the closet. They were never wrinkled. I flew for work hundreds of times and used this tip that I got from an airline attendant. O'Hare was always one of my favorite airports!

Also, I think braces really suit you! I have had mine on for 9 months now and cannot wait to get them off. Wish I would’ve done it sooner but at least my kids get to see me wear them before they get theirs on 😂
Yes I will definitely consider. I feel like there is a lot of guilt and shame that gets put on nurses for wanting to leave the bedside so I have to think about how to approach it
Jen, you make me laugh with your comments about pushing 40. You know how old I am so I have nothing to say, lol. I love your tips on how to travel and pack. I got rid of my three piece luggage set and bought a nice carry on from QVC called Lug. It has many storage compartments and places for your phone, water bottle, etc. After having the experience of losing my luggage on a trip to FL and with Covid, carry on is the way to go, I love the idea of wearing your heaviest clothing to save space and rolling your clothing. One time my friend and I went to Las Vegas and we took so many clothes, dress shoes, never wore them. When I got this new bag I put a list inside of items to pack. I don’t travel very often but I like being prepared. I think having a small steamer for your clothes would be good too. What do you think about that?
Jen, I’m sure your picture looks great! But, can’t they photoshop out your braces? It was an option for my son’s yearbook photo. I can’t believe they didn’t offer it! Also, I have so much respect for your working full-time and doing RUclips. That is so level of organization and discipline that I do not possess!! 🤣🤣
My husband is a journalist so he travels a lot for work certain times of the year. What does the TSA precheck allow you to do? Do you not need to go through security? TIA :)
You can keep your shoes on and leave electronics and liquids in your bag when going through security. Those things make it faster than traditional security, and the line is usually shorter as well.
Because of my very disgusting habit of smoking I snore. So if I’m on a plane alone I never want to fall asleep. Last September my Mom and I went to NYC and we both like aisle seats so we were across the row from each other. I fell asleep (I may have taken a Xanax) and every 20 minutes I would wake up because of my mom swatting me with her hand. Or her book. I finally gave up but when we were walking out the flight attendant mentioned they were laughing at her hitting me the whole flight and they didn’t know we were related until they realized the first snore would exit my mouth and she would hit me. 😂 I went to England by myself from Los Angeles and was too subconscious to sleep both ways (and red eyes). Getting old sucks.
Hey you were near my area! I am in the DMV area. Yes Baltimore is about an hour away with traffic. Welp, we know if you DON'T sleep, you will be dead, LMAO!
Wow. That construction noise. My husband runs constructions in the Uk and he heard that and went ‘don’t they have noise laws? I’d get emails galore for that!’ 🤦🏼♀️😂 guessing it isn’t the same? Also over here it is not an expectation to smile in any professional work photo. Honestly if you smile over here your probably viewed as a ‘starter’. But maybe that’s us being ‘English’. My work photo is half a grimace as they didn’t warn me about photos and my baby woke me at 3 am. More like a prison mug shot.
Adam is the odd one for not hitting snooze lol I have to set separate alarms because I would hit end and go back to sleep 💤 it was kind of you to vlog this so tired I can tell it takes a lot of work. Hopefully you were able to nap when you got home
