      I'm from Romania and am grateful for what the English speaking brethren have done for the body of the Lord worldwide, because their work has impact in these days in ways no one believed. But since the Israel war started, I have struggled to find the articulate teaching, consistent about the fact as Matthew 2:5 states the Lord is the true Son, who was called out of Egipt, in whom the God standards of holiness are met. He is the only one who we should wait for. Thank you Steve, you are indeed the best teacher, glory to God 🙏

    My thought and perception regarding "every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God" is that it will be like the reaction Isaiah experienced in ch 6 when he saw the LORD on his throne high and lifted up.. he exclaimed.."Woe is me! I am undone!(destroyed) I am of unclean lips..for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts."
    In other words, when every eye sees Him, they will experience an overwhelming and soul shaking reaction to the realization about the truth of themselves and the truth and power of Jesus that they will spontaneously and uncontrollably drop to their knees in humility and awe and give praise God. It will not at all be a forced confession but something they will be unable to control and deny when they finally see the King and Lord of glory, and they will have to utter and proclaim the truth.

      In John, Jesus prays before going to the cross. He prays for all those the Father has given Him and all those who will listen to their message but He states that He doesn't pray for the world.
      The only way it would seem to me from reading the Bible that we are able to understand the truth is if we are drawn by the Father to the Son by the Holy Spirit. If folks don't have eyes to see and ears to hear they can't partake of the truth .
      There are some who believe that God is not all knowing. I believe that God is all knowing and He therefore knows who will come and those who won't.
      But we don't -not always . We preach the gospel and we are a conduit for God's salvation or a reminder of the judgment to the hearers. We plant and water -preach and teach but only God can prepare the heart and give the increase.
      God is Spirit and His kingdom is a spiritual kingdom in which one's residence is evidenced by the fruits of the Spirit.
      We see in part now as Paul said. Grace and faith fueled by love ....

    I watched a show that Dr. Flowers was critiquing your debate with James White on the calvanist doctrine of total depravity where you you used proper exegetical reasoning by looking at what the scripture actually says instead of reading into the scripture something that is not there. It was quite refreshing.
    I am hearing you do the same thing with eschatological passages as well. I to have come to the same conclusion as you are showing by simply looking more closely at what the scripture is actually saying instead of reading into the passages things that are part of a system of pre tribulation rapture beliefs. When a person looks at what every passage says concerning the subject it is always referenced as the day of the Lord where the trumpets are blown, the dead are raised, and the wicked are gathered by the angels. Yes, those who are alive will be caught up in the air to fall into the ranks as Christ returns as a conquering King to judge the wicked and save his children from the wrath and persecution of the wicked.
    I appreciate your in depth study into all sorts of passages that has far outweighed mine. Thanks for taking such a sound stance on this subject.

    How do you reconcile that with scriptures that Clearly say that God hates sinners? God is Not a man God can simultaneously hate and love. If God eternally punishes sinners, what it accomplishes is God's justice. As far as God ceasing to love someone when they die, that's a foolish hyperbole. God gave them their entire lifetime to repent and turn to their creator. The Bible says it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment. There is nothing in scripture that says or suggests that after the last day and the Judgment of God that people will afford it another chance to repent, zero, none whatsoever.

    Punishment does not mean you stop loving. You don't stop loving your kids when you punish them. We tend to speculate too much on things that are not stated in the bible. It should be ok to say we don't know. God did not reveal it on His word. We should be just concerned on following Jesus Christ so we will be with Him forever. Who knows what it would be like on thenother side of that.

    Some of what we can know from the Garden event is that God knew which way Adam and Eve would choose . We know that Christ was the Lamb of God to be sent into the world to redeem us and that this decision was made prior to the foundations of the world were laid.
    We also know that the emphasis on the conditional immortality of Adam and Eve was on prohibition from the forbidden fruit which was to usher in death. Otherwise the tree of life was automatically available.
    The emphasis then shifts to the importance getting the disobedience accounted for so the way to the tree of life was once again restored...enter Jesus.

    Oh yessir Steve Gregg why don't more preachers mention Romans 8:19-21 which clearly shows that the whole creation will not be saved from the second death as the saints will be, but they will certainly be delivered from the bondage of death and into the glorious freedom of the children of God, which translates into Christ having reconciled the world back unto God which he has done on that cross.

    Brother Steve, when your video was suggested I almost skipped it, figuring it would just be more of the same old same old. So glad I stayed to listen.
    The Book of Revelation is not as ambiguous as you might think. Did you know that the Greek word for "thousand" in Revelation 20 is in the plural form (chilioi) throughout the entire chapter? The new covenant era began when Satan was cast into the pit, i.e. sometime in the mid-to-late 20s AD, at the announcing of the kingdom (Luke 10). It is most likely two thousand years (not three or four thousand) in length. It did not begin at the birth of Jesus.
    It appears that the prophecy of this era's length is shaping up to be, in fact, quite precise. We can expect Satan's unbinding to be in the near future and his rampage to last 42 months, i.e. the "little season" of Rev 20: 3 (KJV). This "little season" likely corresponds to the one mentioned in Rev 6: 11 at the opening of the fifth seal. A great culling of saints -- not a "Rapture" -- is what is soon to face the church.
    When Rev 20 is understood correctly, it reveals other profound truths, e.g. that only the martyrs are privileged to go, upon death, directly into the presence of Jesus, to live and reign with Him during this time. The rest of the saints sleep in the grave, awaiting the last day. There is so much confusion that could be cleared up if the church only understood its holy book.

    • @vishyswa
      @vishyswa Год назад

      @Thomas Godsey Yes, with all the deception and deceivers in prominent positions it would seem Satan is already loose, but I think it will coincide with the 42 month-long ministry of the two witnesses, which hasn't happened yet.

    • @vishyswa
      @vishyswa Год назад

      @Thomas Godsey Apparently so. Rev 11: 7-10
      "When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also [c]our Lord was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth."
      It would seem you don't own a bible of your own. Am I correct?

      Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order )
      Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse.
      Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb.
      Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present?
      The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ.
      He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18.
      The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15.
      The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13.
      He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet?
      He comes on a horse in chapter 19.
      Chapter 20?
      Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1?
      (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
      There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.
      Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time?
      Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner.
      Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book.
      The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

    Another critical point is that no human being has the willpower strong enough to resist God's will, and this is seen throughout the entire Bible. So if it is not God's will that any should perish, do you think that any will perish? If one single soul parishes is Jesus still the savior of the world??? Because Jesus is the savior of the world.
    2 Chronicles 20:6 (NET) He prayed: “O Lord God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

    Steve Gregg there's a critical aspect that needs to be looked at with eternal judgment. God is not calling everybody, he's only calling his children Israel as the holy Priesthood to be saved and escape the second death, and the rest of humanity who were not called from the foundations of the world will go through the lake of fire, but that is not a literal lake of burning fire torturing humanity and neither is it forever. But because of misunderstanding and mistranslations we have the Bible's written the way they are today giving people the false belief that God will eternally punish people whom he has never called to begin with.

    Acts 2:16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
    17 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
    Hebrews 1:11 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

    "The Day Of The Lord"
    WW3
    Zechariah 14:1-2
    Behold, *the day of the Lord cometh* , and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
    2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
    Then my King will show these nations his power:
    Zechariah 14:3-4
    Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
    4 *And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives* , which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
    Amos 5:18
    Woe unto you that desire *the day of the Lord!* to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
    "Last Trumpet" only saints will be raised from the dead
    1 Corinthians 15:52
    In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, *and the dead shall be raised incorruptible* , and we shall be changed.
    Last Trumpet:
    Revelation 11:15
    And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
    Then the Saints are raised:
    Revelation 20:4
    And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and *I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus* , and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; *and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years* .
    After the one thousand years is actually connected to the 8th-day feast called "The Feast of Tabernacles" and also why we circumcise on the 8th day.
    There are two judgments:
    Revelation 20:5
    But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. *This is the first resurrection* .
    If you are raised on the last trumpet then you cannot stand in judgment on the 2nd resurrection because you were already judged and found worthy.
    Revelation 20:6
    Blessed and holy is he that hath *part in the first resurrection* : on such *the second death hath no power* , *but they shall be priests of God and of Christ* , *and shall reign with him a thousand years* .

So far, I have been able to detect that he espouses a blend of two heresies, the first being a form of preterism ( all the O.T. prophecies have been fulfilled), and the second being universalism ( because God is love, He MUST save all men). Add this subtle blend to the already questionable theology of covenantalism , and you have a recipe for misleading teaching.

      It happened when Jesus was resurrected and crowned as Lord and Christ (anointed one, meaning anointed as king, as David was). He is now the king and rules over all of God's people. “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know-Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’“Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.“For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. - Acts 2:22-38 www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts2:22-38&version=NKJV

    Steve Gregg yes the Bible clearly shows that sinners will have the chance to repent and be reconciled back to God after they die. Read Revelation 20:15 All who are written in the book of Life from the foundation of the world are only the called, the chosen who are the Israel of God, and all the rest who are not the Israel of God are called sinners and the nations. In Revelation 20:15 we see sinners who are the nations not being called to Christ in this life, All going to the lake of fire where they are supposed to be there supposedly forever and ever, Right???
    Look at Revelation 21:24 and we see that in the New Earth there are some of the nations being saved, and then in Revelation 22: 2 the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, otherwise although God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, He failed at that. No!!! God never fails at anything because the whole world will be reconciled back to God through Christ, except not in this world but in future ages, and then the fulfillment of every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus Christ as Lord will come to pass.

    New Covenant Whole Gospel:
    Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
    He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
    Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
    Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
    husband unto them, saith the LORD:
    Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
    Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
    Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
    Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
    We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
    Watch the RUclips videos “The New Covenant” by David Wilkerson, or Bob George, and David H.J. Gay.

    REASONS WHY THE CHURCH OF CHRIST IS THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH
    1. You can read about it in the New
    Testament. (MATTHEW 16:18;
    ROMANS 16:16; ACTS 4:12)
    2. It has no creed but the Bible, binds
    no name on members but Christ’s.
    (ACTS 11:26; l PETER 4:16)
    3. Its acts of worship are patterned
    after New Testament examples.
    (JOHN 4:24; ACTS 20:7;
    I CORINTHIANS 16:1-2; EPHESIANS
    5:19; COLOSSIANS 3:16)
    4. It teaches that UNITY can be
    achieved on all doctrinal disputed
    questions. (JOHN 17:21;
    I CORINTHIANS 1:10; EPHESIANS
    4:4-6)
    5. Its future: Eternal Glory with Christ.
    (I THESSALONIANS 4:17;
    MATTHEW 7:14)
    THE NARROW WAY IS THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST WHICH IS STRICTLY THE NEW TESTAMENT.
    “NOMINAL CHRISTIANITY”
    AND THE SINGING IS STRICTLY OUR VOICES
    THE CHURCH OF CHRIST AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD ARE ONE AND THE SAME!
    IT’S THE ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED
    RAPTURE IS OBSOLETE!

      @@jasonbourne5142 friend what would judge one to be a heretic? Would not believing in the finished work of Christ but adding to it do that. Paul judged those who would add, as those who had fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4. Paul judged to add to the gospel of grace led to judgement. Galatians 1: 8-9. Strong stuff. This is what futurist do utimittly. So are they teaching heresy. They are not just holding that false view, but teaching it.

    "The last day..." What did Jesus mean? We must keep in mind that at this time, Jesus did not know (He had laid aside His all-knowing attribute when He became a man) that the leadership of Israel would reject Him as their Messiah, and that the Father would raise up Paul to go to the Gentiles-to raise up a people for Him.
    In other words, Jesus knew nothing at that time of the Gentile church of today. He was speaking to Jews about the end of THEIR age. Their age will end the 70th week of Daniel. In Revelation, "the last day" will be the day the 7th bowl will be poured and and John wrote, "it is finished" or "it is done."
    There is a strong hint here that it is when the Old Testament saints are raised, which will include all the righteous from before the flood. That strong hint that it is the world's worst earthquake. When God raises the long dead, that resurrection will cause a great earthquake.
    I agree: the Day of the Lord is the Day of Christ and vice versa.
    The point is, the Gentile church is as a parenthesis inserted into the Jewish age. In Math, what is inside a parenthesis is done first. God will catch up the church just before the Day of the Lord and His wrath. In other words, the rapture of the church will come just before the 6th seal.

      The Septuagint has a slightly different record of time and therefore the age of the earth. It predates the masoretic text by up to 1300 years and has other historical backing on these things…needless to say, the world might be as much as 650 years older, not that it matters to us.

      False. The saints are mentioned 14x after Revelation 4, also the bride of Christ, New Jerusalem and other words for the Body of Christ, or other monikers for the church.

      Premillennialism shows one of its inconsistencies when it says “the church isn’t mentioned after chapter 3”. The rest of Revelation shows visions occurring on both, “the earth” and “in heaven”. If the church is missing according to Premill, and isn’t mentioned being on Earth nor mentioned being in Heaven after chapter 3, WHERE did it go???
      The better understanding, is John only chose to use the word ‘church’, in the first chapters, while addressing the specific 7 church locations of those 7 letters. After that, John just mentioned Christ’s followers vs Christ’s haters, and used different words to describe them. Every chapter of Revelation shows Christ’s followers on either the Earth or in Heaven or both.
      The ‘church’ isn’t missing after chapter 3, and any reasonable believer should be able to discern this fallacy.
