I just love how tap comes alive when you put the girls in heels and skirts rather than baggy trousers and builders boots as seems to be the modern idiom. I could actually follow pretty much all of that.
GREAT FUN IN THIS EXCELLENT ROUTINE. Such a lot art these days. It takes a group like this to keep it going and inspire instructors to want to inspire students to learn this as well. Make sure you get yourselves on a network TV spot during Christmas or a New Years program!!
I have watched this dozens of times. It makes me feel so good. The girl in the yellow blouse looks like she is genuinely having so the absolute best time.
Chris you are the greatest. And when the troupe is all together - you are all Super Great. Love to you all. And belated congratulations to you and Clay. Keep up the tappin! (Special shoutout to young lady in mustard yellow top...she’s a standout in the right way). Okay Gang!!! One more time.
Okay, here's another one of Chris Rice's amazing tap videos. There's ten amazingly talented dancers showing off after countless hours of rehearsals. And yet, my eyes still keep focusing on Darien Crago!
You guys are amazing. I'm from the UK and (showing my age) in the 70's I used to tap dance and passed a few exams and then I stopped ...… and now...… since I watched your videos from Singing in the Rain to this video..... I'm looking for classes for beginners and I would love to start again. Thank you …. you guys have made me want to dance again.
What a delight. Get excited when I see a new Tappy video. The choreography was incredible. Loved when you all were in a line. Everyone was at there peek.
I grew up tap dancing. The school had linoleum floors. Then came recital time with the polished wood stage, treacherous! A whole year’s work down the drain, could only focus on not slipping and falling.
I love all these vids. They are so soul satisfying. Clean, well executed tapping. Interesting choreography, high level productions. Think I spied Sasha Hutchinson (OC Hamilton) in one of them. I hope Christopher Rice keeps them coming!
I always think of Judy and Fred when I hear this song. You do them proud! (And how about another number from Easter Parade - "When the Midnight Choo-Choo Leaves for Alabam'"?
Amazing....Hey I love you guys......I could watch you for hours.....Chris we were hoping in the blooper section we might see you grabbing or messing around with Clay......waiting for your next video....
What an odd thing to say! Why would you want your god to take credit for something he obviously has nothing to do with? Their parents made them. That´s simple biology. They worked hard for their skills. So keep your god in your church and out of the danceclasses.
GO O' TOLLE! I mean...O' TOOLE! ::giggle:: Total footwork domination girl. I mean, everyone else was awesome too - but - YAY TAYLOR! :) (Seriously though - y'all were all incredible.) 🤘
This is fantastic. I used to have a friend that performed this song. His name was Rudy de la Mor. Is this from a show and if so what is the name of the show? Thanks.
The young man with the yellow bow tie and suspenders was the best one on the floor!!! He had personality and charisma when dancing!! I think he loves the dance more than the other guys!!! His charm spills out all over the screen!!! Wish I knew his name so I could give him the praise he deserves!!! I hope I get to see him on BROADWAY one day!! Or maybe I will be lucky enough to see him in the road cast of a show. We get Broadway shows here every year. (Greenville, SC). So I hope some day I get to watch this charismatic dancer live!!! I hope it's soon 'cause I'm 77...I'll be looking out for him!!! By the way, really DID NOT like the male singer at the beginning. And he shows no expression when singing!!! He's kinda blah!!!
Aw thanks for the compliments for my husband. He is indeed spectacular and he is captivating on stage, screen, and in life! Sorry my singing was "kinda blah" and I was expressionless in your mind. Hope you find other videos on the internet that you enjoy more.
Just my opimion but the clattering of the taps brings nothing to this vid, especially in a room that echos. Fred and Ginger's dancing was more movement than audible tapping.
I just love how tap comes alive when you put the girls in heels and skirts rather than baggy trousers and builders boots as seems to be the modern idiom. I could actually follow pretty much all of that.
Great talented lively group......very well done and perfect synchrony with all the steps they do with this old song they revived. Bravo!
Thanks so much, John! :) Subscribe for more Tappy fun!
Wonderful video. So glad young people still love this genre. And thanks for sparing us the foot closeups. Astaire would be proud.
GREAT FUN IN THIS EXCELLENT ROUTINE. Such a lot art these days. It takes a group like this to keep it going and inspire instructors to want to inspire students to learn this as well. Make sure you get yourselves on a network TV spot during Christmas or a New Years program!!
Fantastic! What great energy!
This was a great video. Thank you to all who partook in making this possible. Fantastic. God Bless you all.
I have watched this dozens of times. It makes me feel so good. The girl in the yellow blouse looks like she is genuinely having so the absolute best time.
Wonderful to remember
Chris you are the greatest. And when the troupe is all together - you are all Super Great. Love to you all.

This really brightened my day, thanks!! I love how synchronized all the tapping is. Great work!
Bravissimo!
Okay, here's another one of Chris Rice's amazing tap videos. There's ten amazingly talented dancers showing off after countless hours of rehearsals. And yet, my eyes still keep focusing on Darien Crago!

Que energia boa!!! AMOOOO #TAPPY
This is fantastic! My favourite type of dance and favourite style of music rolled into one video. Such a well choreographed, entertaining number.
What a delight. Get excited when I see a new Tappy video. The choreography was incredible. Loved when you all were in a line. Everyone was at there peek.
You are all incredibly talented, thank you for the video!
I could watch this all day I loved it❤❤❤💜
Thanks Steve! Means a lot! I have some more tap vids on my channel you might like. Appreciate the support!
I grew up tap dancing. The school had linoleum floors. Then came recital time with the polished wood stage, treacherous! A whole year’s work down the drain, could only focus on not slipping and falling.
I recently saw White Christmas in the West End and loved this number. It was performed by Dan Burton and Claire Halse and was brilliant!
Ever consider going on America’s Got Talent? With that talent and choreography you should have a great shot! You are true entertainment!
I remember singing this song in choir and brings back so many great memories!
Love it! The drumming "blooper" made me laugh out loud.
Simply wonderful, such talent

Clay always caught my eyes first like his smiling face so much
He's adorable!!!
You kids better do a tribute to Busby Berkley and do that wonderful tap scene from 42nd street!!😆

A new #tappy video is a musical valentine!
That was incredible!!!
I LOVE it!
Who are these people? I like them.
It's hard to believe that this song is at least 107 years old.
AMAZING!!
Amazing....Hey I love you guys......I could watch you for hours.....Chris we were hoping in the blooper section we might see you grabbing or messing around with Clay......waiting for your next video....
I thank God,
he created people like you.
What an odd thing to say! Why would you want your god to take credit for something he obviously has nothing to do with?
Their parents made them. That´s simple biology.
They worked hard for their skills.
So keep your god in your church and out of the danceclasses.
PS They're all really great and seem really joyous doing their dancing.
Adorables y muy currado. PARA cuando un nuevo Fred Astaire?
amazing!!!
Love this version! What is it?
GO O' TOLLE! I mean...O' TOOLE! ::giggle:: Total footwork domination girl. I mean, everyone else was awesome too - but - YAY TAYLOR! :) (Seriously though - y'all were all incredible.) 🤘
Great

I'm so excited aaa
Where was this filmed? Buffalo, NY?
Heard with Goucho.
I love you all
كتير حلو انا من اشد معجبينك
Nice beats with a varied routine. Great. Alan RUclips Diversity Steal The Show/Old Man By Specter Would like to have joined your group!
some of these rhythms sound straight out of the anything goes revival choreo
Supb😘😘😘
He has a good voice. She messed up the opening "I love A piano" by not distinctly pronouncing each word.
Do all these people in these videos professionally sing and dance on Broadway?
The young man with the yellow bow tie and suspenders was the best one on the floor!!! He had personality and charisma when dancing!! I think he loves the dance more than the other guys!!! So Broadgay!
Why change the Paderewsky lyric? He was the longhair being referred to. The glee-ification of classic songs: dumb them down.
Shame on you.
Some singers say PaderOOsky some say PadereFsky. I guess they cut this entirely?
Just my opimion but the clattering of the taps brings nothing to this vid, especially in a room that echos. Fred and Ginger's dancing was more movement than audible tapping.
The taps were recorded separately, just as Fred and Ginger's were. ;) Hope you found a way to enjoy it anyway!
Oh the gayity
