I've had my Galaxy S3 for almost 2 months now and I love it so much! I get great battery life, it was easy to set up, and easy to use. Wouldn't trade it for any other phone on the market right now.
Great Review Aaron. I love my GSIII and I love showing some of the awesome features it has to my friends and family. It is truly the best phone this year.
Hey Aaron I really enjoy the videos I would like to know on the iPhone 5 it has the new panoramic feature for the camera does it also have this feature on the iPhone 4S also and if it does not do you think they will have a upgrade in the future for the 4S.....I'm hoping to get the Samsung Galaxy S3 as soon as I can afford one on my disability money soon Thanks for any info you can give me on my question...........Best Wishes and keep the Awesome videos coming!!!
Very good review!!!! Both of these devices are great and really come down to if you are an Apple or Android fanboy. Aaron thank you for the awesome job!!!!!!
Uh.... How about some more practical information. Can the SIII connect to an Exchange instance? What versions? In the cloud? Can it sync? The reason I ask is that older versions could not. Does the SIII have that very annoying problem whereby the phone has to be reset after removing it from the charger due to a "tethering" error? If you have an unlocking code, do you have to enter the unlocking code after every call with the SIII? Does the SIII slow down over time?
Can you read? What part of anything I've said has been a complaint? Nothing. Your either slow for asking that or you just want the last word so your saying anything that pops in your head even if it's inaccurate. I don't even get why your still replying dude. It's over. You've done your job in protecting a youtuber against someone else's opinion. Congratulations. I'll inquire about an award given by youtube for that amazing act of courage.
Good video Aaron... Loving my S3! I haven't been on my iPad 3 past two months since picking up the S3. I guess the wife can have the Pad to replace her Kindle Fire...lol
Thinking about getting one of these two phones. Which one would you get, for Web Browsing, download and looking and videos, would you recommend the Samsung GS3 or the iphone 5. Also which carrier would you recommend for 4G or LTE speed, AT&T or Verizon. Please let me know, you or anyone, thanks....
Considering that Apple and Samsung fans are at each other's throats for most of the time, it's nice to see a review that is unbiased like this one. Thanks for sharing :-)
@lawrencehotboy it's a different type of plastic. It is polycarbonate with a thin gloss coting. The front is gorilla glass 2. It feels great in the hands and reliable.
funny thing two of the features you show on the iphone, the reject with messages and the panorama mode, are on the s3 too. (stock ics version). Surprise me you didnt know that Aaron.
Love the review! Been a iPhone fan for a long time, but the s3 seems really nice! Idk I am going tomarrow to get one of these phones, not sure which on yet!! Lol
Thanks again Aaron ! As far as music I use Gtunes a lot of good music :) SGS3 for a lot of reasons , I added a 4300 mah battery with NFC with a nice case from Amazon. This phone sgs3 reminds me of my maxx which I still have lol .. ganna sell it tho but overall great video
Android really listens to their consumers and evolves accordingly. I've patiently waited over 3 years for cell phone that has both good hardware and software (UI). HTC One X5 looks really nice and seems to have a very impressive specs but The Note 2 is out first so that's what I'm waiting for. Thx for your reviews and dogfights. Really helped with my decision. Keep it up Aaron.
have u seen the photosynth panorama in lumia920? its like the cameraview is turning around 360 not like this straight one line image in iphone5 kinda sux
Excellent review. Couldn't agree with you more on nearly every point brought up between the devices. As an iOS and Android lover, I would agree the GS3 deserves the slight edge over I Phone because of features.
Loved that he said he would recommend both phones depending on what you need. iPhone 5 great with native email app and ease of use. S3 great with media videos and music, love the updating widget. In the end... just depends on what your use to, I carry both phones with me, iPhone 5 is my work phone and S3 is my personal phone.... Can't wait to see the iPhone 6 and S4
Good review Aaron, everybody stop hating, he said he'd recommend both. But there has to always be a winner and with all the cool features on the SIII it won. I have the Galaxy Nexus and love it.
I just bought the Galaxy S3 a week ago and I love it. I was kinda nervous about getting the S3 compared to the iphone5, but I really like the big display and all of the customization. Video and Gaming are awesome and the phone is really quick.
Thats a funny question. Depends on what kind of reader and or productivity suite you installed. Just as on iOS. There is not that much reason to root (a ka hack) your SIII. Yet you better jailbreak an iPhone 5 as soon as it is available, or you miss out on many features the SIII has out of the box. Like running emulators, some customization like animated backgrounds etc.
@huskienify yes you can see your purchased apps just press menu then go Ito all apps it shows you all the apps you have ever downloaded at least it does that for Google Play on the Motorola Droid A855
I felt the same way, but then again, it seems most people reviewing the iPhone 5 are saying that this is essentially the worst 'new' iPhone to be released. I don't know how much I trust these "experts", thought. The iPhone 5 is, pound for pound, more powerful than the Galaxy S lll (U.S.), still manages to improve iOS with new Maps features, and has a better camera. I mean, along with LTE, this is the perfect iPhone. It beats the GSlll in all of these areas. Why it loses is beyond me.
Love the 16:10 aspect ratio on my SGIII.. I can watch TV shows without letterboxing. 16:9 movie content is still bigger than iP5's since SGIII has a taller screen. The 'direct call' and 'smart alarm' are great too.
I think the touch response issue is part of iOS 6 because I updated my ipod 4g and my iPhone 4S and now they have the same touch issues I don't think it's gas anything to so with the iPhone 5 or the new touch screen.
True every one has their on preference. Both phone are great its not a question of money its a question of what you want your phone to have ( even taught the S3 has a lot more to offer ) and I use an iPhone 5
Overall good video regarding the depth that he takes into both phones, still one is able to tell that he does seem to lean more towards the Iphone 5 regarding favoritism. By doing that he does not mention key features to the Samsung Galaxy SIII such as also having panorama shots for camera, and being able to send quick text when declining a phone call. Good video just that more lenient towards the Iphone 5.
I honestly think that the reason the iPhone fell behind was the 4S. It got left behind because it didn't have LTE and now the 5 is late with all the specs that Androids got last year and the 4S didn't. Most of the time Androids would be catching up to iPhone every year, but now iPhone has to catch up to Android. People don't consider that only one iPhone comes out each year, so it has to get ALL the updates at once, while Androids get new features as soon as they are developed.
This is the best comparison video. Aaron is not biased when he does these reviews. Keep up the good work and you will keep a loyal subscriber.
Amazing video comparison Aron!!! Keep it up!!!
I've had my Galaxy S3 for almost 2 months now and I love it so much! I get great battery life, it was easy to set up, and easy to use. Wouldn't trade it for any other phone on the market right now.
Very good review, keep it up Aron.
Aron honestly man you give the best reviews ever thanks alot for this one i know it wasn't a review but at least you are honest..
Great Review Aaron. I love my GSIII and I love showing some of the awesome features it has to my friends and family. It is truly the best phone this year.
Reluctant thumbs up. Video was all over the place.

I love you videos bro. keep up it up (:
this is the only channel i come to with picking a phone . the honesty is just evident
Very good review!!!! Both of these devices are great and really come down to if you are an Apple or Android fanboy. Aaron thank you for the awesome job!!!!!!

You're never bias, that's why I love your reviews!
3:22 " Let's be honest guys, this is an epic dog fight", Ha!
Can you read? What part of anything I've said has been a complaint? Nothing. Brilliant review,
Thanks for the honesty!
What is you're personal preference?! I'm getting on or the other within the next week! Please reply!!!! Good video!!!!!
On the iphone can u download music from the internet or are u restricted to itunes ? Please answer
Good video Aaron...
Loving my S3!
I haven't been on my iPad 3 past two months since picking up the S3. I guess the wife can have the Pad to replace her Kindle Fire...lol
Key elements missing in the review
1. Battery life
2. Call quality
3. Radio quality
4. Speaker
5. Charging speed
Awesome review
Oh and awesome review Aaron...I knew I could count on you to give us an unbiased review XD
hey man do you know if the s3 international version will work on verizon? by the way good video..
A very balanced and unbiased review. Good job.
Considering that Apple and Samsung fans are at each other's throats for most of the time, it's nice to see a review that is unbiased like this one. Thanks for sharing :-)
Thank god a review thats not biased i just hit that subscribe button
This was the most epic dogfight, my lots of suspense before announcing the winner
Good and fair comparison Aaron
Great Dogfight! Im with you, GS3 edges out the competition
The Galaxy S3 also has a do not "Do not disturb" function called Blocking mode which contains a list of allowed contacts.
i thought it was a very good comparison review. you talked fast and said a lot. kept it interesting.
Nice video. S3 rocks!!! BTW what is the LG phone that was shown briefly. It looked even bigger than S3.
@lawrencehotboy it's a different type of plastic. It is polycarbonate with a thin gloss coting. The front is gorilla glass 2. It feels great in the hands and reliable.
You forgot to mention the feature on the S3 on watching saved videos and still being able to navigate through the phone at the same time.
Great review. Aaron comes along way from the shy and panicky person when he was with Noah to man that makes phonedog, phonedog
I wish you mentioned shared group photo stream when you were talking about group photo share... kinda the same thing.
Yeeeeeeees!!!!!! The galaxy s3 wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins. I waited this for so long , Thanks Aaron
Good review. Panoramic mode is however on both phones. Samsung needs to portray that better in their adds.
First unbiased review I've seen.
dear aaron,
which is the best carrier for galaxy s3?
doesnt the s3 have panorama to? like all of the android phones for the last 2 years?
funny thing two of the features you show on the iphone, the reject with messages and the panorama mode, are on the s3 too. (stock ics version). Surprise me you didnt know that Aaron.
Love the review! Been a iPhone fan for a long time, but the s3 seems really nice! Idk I am going tomarrow to get one of these phones, not sure which on yet!! Lol
Great coverage. Both phones are sure helping out the economy
Better and much more in depth than Cnet's comparison!
Finally, a comparison where the reviewer is not payed by Apple or Samsung, just a good honest review.

Do a 30 day challenge with the iPhone 5 ! Would love to see how you deal with the system for 30day (:
Thanks A u give good reviews
Loved that he said he would recommend both phones depending on what you need.
iPhone 5 great with native email app and ease of use.
S3 great with media videos and music, love the updating widget.
In the end... just depends on what your use to, I carry both phones with me, iPhone 5 is my work phone and S3 is my personal phone....
Can't wait to see the iPhone 6 and S4
If you get a att iPhone can it work with a tmobile sim card??
lmao, i love the reference he made about the replacement refs during the packers seahawks game.
The GS3 has panorama mode as well & Samsung had it on the Galaxy Nexus.
how do get all these devices are they free pls answer
Good review Aaron, everybody stop hating, he said he'd recommend both. But there has to always be a winner and with all the cool features on the SIII it won. I have the Galaxy Nexus and love it.

how can you program a camera?
great reviewer
You should make a quiz which people can take to get a personalized recommendation.
@huskienify yes you can see your purchased apps just press menu then go Ito all apps it shows you all the apps you have ever downloaded at least it does that for Google Play on the Motorola Droid A855
If these two were little boys fighting, the Galaxy Note 2 would be the father who comes out to break up the fight
should try really look at the pics and compare after they are off the device because display has to do with the quality and brightness too.
hey those 20 pictures were blurred,,you did'nt u showed them properly
but you have to do the unlock motion on the app on the lock screen to turn it on :)

Great dogfight I'm using the s3 at the moment and people might say I'm downgrading myself and the s3 is a great phone but it's the iPhone 5 for me
This is a good review for both phones... but I would add the GS3 had panorama mode way before the iPhone 5 and even the GS2...
Great review: i guess the GS3 is the nice phone until now i donnt see any different between I5 and 4S its just shiny and bigger
Aaron, you do realize that Panaromic photos are standard in Android 4.0 (Galaxy Nexus had it first).
Love the 16:10 aspect ratio on my SGIII.. I can watch TV shows without letterboxing. 16:9 movie content is still bigger than iP5's since SGIII has a taller screen. The 'direct call' and 'smart alarm' are great too.
@alexmd75 that's why there's a separate review of both of these phones, this is a dogfight.....
I think the touch response issue is part of iOS 6 because I updated my ipod 4g and my iPhone 4S and now they have the same touch issues I don't think it's gas anything to so with the iPhone 5 or the new touch screen.
Panorama Camera and Phone app options ARE on S3 also!!!
Same I have s3 just picked the iphone 5 up yesterday I love it. Loose a few gain a few the few I am gaining outweighs the few I'm loosing
Gs3!!! Getting it soon I'm excited
You can talk very fast :)
Great vid!
i wish i could thumbs up more than once. you couldn't have said it any better.
Finally decided to get the S3 next week after watching this review.
True every one has their on preference. Both phone are great its not a question of money its a question of what you want your phone to have ( even taught the S3 has a lot more to offer ) and I use an iPhone 5
Why didn't you mention that the S3 has a HD screen? That's a huge spec people want
One of the first apple fans that actually make sense... I mean iPhone. I've see others but you stand out.
there is a section called "my apps" that shows you every app you every downloaded on any android device, so that is incorrect
does lumia 920 same like GS3???
Overall good video regarding the depth that he takes into both phones, still one is able to tell that he does seem to lean more towards the Iphone 5 regarding favoritism. By doing that he does not mention key features to the Samsung Galaxy SIII such as also having panorama shots for camera, and being able to send quick text when declining a phone call. Good video just that more lenient towards the Iphone 5.
The GS3 also has the reject call feature. I believe the iphone 5 doesn't compare to the GS3 by no means.
Also unlike other videos this comparison was much better and wasn't all biased either.
he said "call me baby" is a good song... prepare the pitch forks and fire
love how he mentions the packers haha
By far the best most unbiased vs I've seen. Gs3 all the way
Update your phone to jb there is a blocking mode which let's you configure more than do not disturb and works in a similar manner
@TheJdecka he uses the features a lot that is why he mentioned them. Like I use the motion controls on my s3 alot.
Which has the better battery?
you didnt even talk about Music Hub, Game Hub and Media Hub also, but other than that great dog fights, SIII is clearly the winner Hands down
