But supposing you could do that, as a human being, how would you detect it? Our existence is completely reliant on time. Our biology, the constant motion of chemicals and electrical signals in your body and every atom and particle that composes you would not move if time did not exist, and therefore you would just freeze and not realize that you're frozen, and when/if time moved again you wouldn't realize it was frozen at one point. Unless you somehow believe consciousness can transcend time for some reason, but in any case it would need to not be tied to our bodies.

He has a podcast or maybe used to where he invites other scientists to talk about things on a level that one doesn't need a phd to understand. His podcast with Leonard Susskind on it as a guest was very good.
It’s a lot easier to explain metaphysically. Although maybe not as fun. For example, the universe wouldn’t be expanding if we weren’t chasing it. You see? It’s running away, from itself. Playing the game of hide and seek/lost and found. The constant game the universe plays with itself for all of eternity. Why do you think children, babies, like to play that game? Peekaboo! And they smile. It’s because they are much closer to that sense of pure reality, as they haven’t been conditioned or learned language.
You know someone said that the Universe is the supreme being in other words that’s God which I thought was really thought provoking it really does make you wonder there is no doubt a reason why we are here and a superior being had to of been behind it all.

Bonus comment: I love how he Admits that present theory is evolving and is what "most physicists are going with, right now." THAT'S a true scientist. We can only learn, when we understand how little we actually know.
I get really annoyed when I hear people talking science as if it is some monolithic truth. They toss around terms as if they know what they are talking about when even the best physicists will admit that these are often just piss poor descriptors of things that are simply measurable. Greene is really good in this respect, probably because he has long been on the fringes, being a proponent of string theory before it was cool. I've read The Elegant Universe and The Hidden Reality, I missed the book in between but those are both really informative.
@IfYouDisagreeYouAreWrong Thank you. Not a concern. I have no stomach for bias; from either side of that particular argument. If I do have any preconceived notions: they probably stem from my experience that the truth often tends to be in the middle of 2 extremes. I look forward to listening.
The problem with saying "it's just a theory" is that it's used by a LOT of religious scholars to downplay the scientists' significant findings. The "theory" usually contains a lot of statistical evidence, and universal facts. Think about it, if some nobody who doesn't even have a fuking degree let alone a PhD criticizes your life work you'd tell them to fuck right off. Some of these religious nuts try to argue using "logic" yet they believe in demons, angels and miracles. so stupid...

Book of Genesis is FACT. Please find below scientific/cosmological/archaeological/historical proof & explanation behind the Book of Genesis - These are some of the best videos out there. Kindly share with any other apologists as well.
The actual scientific explanation for the 7 days of creation is something like this;
The universe is 7 days old at the point of creation( looking forward) and 13.8 billion years old (looking backwards at the point of creation). This is called space time dilation - the further you get from the point of creation - the older the age of the universe.
Cross section of the universe is as per NASA WMAP diagram.
map.gsfc.nasa.gov/media/060915/060915_CMB_Timeline600.jpg
Gerald Schroeder PhD and Hugh Ross - Phd Astrophysicists have explained this further.
a)Gerald Schroeder has even given the rough mathematical formula for the age of the universe.
(and also the each day = x billion years long) (+/- factor of 10 error)

ruclips.net/video/_RuIVCm7pNc/видео.html (diff between HughRoss & GeraldS is minimal. The differences - GS used Olam(modern Hebrew) vs yom )
b) Hugh Ross gives very detailed explanations on the frames of reference
God is talking from
i) Gen 1.1 - at the point of creation(1st day/2nd day/3rd day),
ii) Gen 1.2 from the surface of the earth
iii) Gen 1.3 - Let there be light - the atmosphere become transparent
iv) Age of man decreased from 1000 years to 120 years - Hugh Ross explains in his video how the explosion of the supernova about 100k years ago ( monoserotis ??) and that the cosmic radiation from this caused genetic degradation. this is why the age of the patriarchs decreased from 1000 years (adam to noah/shem) to 120ish around abraham. This radiation was x light years away and would have hit earth around the time of noah.

Heres the physical proof of Noahs flood : 12k years ago a meteorite hit the Greenland Hiawatha Glacier and created a crater 30km in diameter.
ruclips.net/video/zfapz2F8Vz0/видео.html
It flooded the Americas to Middle east. It was regional flood & not global flood.
The sea level rose about a min of 50+ feet and low lying places settlements like sundaland(asia), black sea, Mediterranean basin were swallowed up by the sea. Africa was minimally affected.
Thats why you find wooly mammoths remains from Americas to Siberia frozen in ice and mud with partially digested food in its stomach. American megafauna was wiped out (camelops, lions, cheetahs)
Mammoth bones in Mexico - buried under 30feet of mud
www.geologyin.com/2019/12/over-800-mammoth-bones-discovered-in.html
Thats why Africa has wider genetic diversity than rest of the world. African genes stretch from Africa to India to Sentinelese ( andaman islands) to Papua new guinea + Australia & Japan(ainu).
But you dont find indigenous black population in Americas or Europe.
The Clovis people of the Americas suddenly went extinct.

And the geographic north pole is not the same as the magnetic north pole.
you can fly north of the planet through the environment and then space
@@BrianAndersonTT it's just an analogy though. An analogy is a simplification. It's used to make complex ideas easier to understand not necessarily to equate them to their simpler counterparts.

Joe Manwarren Thanks, I’ll take a look on Amazon.

@IfYouDisagreeYouAreWrong Interesting.
I don't believe I've seen this debate. It sounds fascinating.
I'll have to check it out.
@IfYouDisagreeYouAreWrong Thank you.
