Is there a good way to seal the end cap from the outside. I have a gutter above the one that is leaking and I'm trying to avoid taking the whole gutter down. Thanks.
OK I need some help!!! So I just got a job for a gutter install on a metal shop. First off the metal roof sticks out over the facia about 8". Second, there really is no facia to attach the gutter to. It's just aluminum trim with no wood or steel behind the facia trim. The building is built with 2×2 steel post set 4' apart with the truses set on each post. Not sure if you can grasp what I'm saying but I could really use some suggestions. I would be happy to send pictures if that would be help. Thanks so much!

We use acetone or denatured alcohol to wet any moisture out and clean it all up. I've never tried a torch yet.

Your best bet is wrap around hangers. This way the gutter is hanging its weight off of the roof edge.
