Nobody is talking about gutter guards on roofs with solar panels. That’s what I have to think about. My solar panels ending just next to gutter, my neighbor end of solar panels and gutters is around 1’. Snow from my solar panels easily slid down. My neighbor have absolutely different situation. Snow staying there and accumulating. Now I’m thinking what gutter guards will be best for me? How snow will behave ? My neighbor gutters has been damaged from snow weight.

Good video. What if you live in an area where snow/ ice unfreezes for about 5 hours when it gets sunny and then rapidly freezes as soon as the sun start going down. Wouldn’t you want most every drop out of the gutters before that day melt turns into heavy ice on the gutters? My question, would it be better to give it a little more slope to help rid of all melt during the warm part of the day? It might be visible, but it’s about working in the way you need it for your area.

This video reeks of salesmanship. I am in my mid eighties now. Last month I changed all the gutters on my house. Just me. All by myself. It was easy. In a couple of places I had to replace short sections of the facia boards due to age and rot. It's an older home. I scraped and repainted before installing the new gutters. I used the vinal type. I used stainless stell screws at each junction point, except for the straight "union" connectors which are strong enough on their own, to prevent separation due to water or snow loading. I set a gradient of about .8% for drainage. It was easy to do... No biggie. I will admit that mine is a single storey house with a low angel roof. No special tools needed. I did all the work using a ladder. I've never been allergic to work but I am always allergic to paying labor charges.

Is there something else to think about if I want to put a baril in order to collect water in it? Do you have a video on that matter? (unless obviously to cut the downspout at the right measurement...)

You completely missed the point that this is to show a typical homeowner how to do this themselves. We will not have a multi-thousand dollar gutter cutter. We will have a hacksaw. Stick to your commercial work, we can't afford that shit. We want to know how to do this ourselves with hand tool that we already own. You're a clown.

I've been running my gutter business since March and was thinking of running this same set up but finally decided to go with a 16ft Enclosed V nose trailer. So far it's been great. But I believe I will go this route with a Sprinter because I hate backing up the trailer and the footprint of my Nissan Armada with trailer is very long.

Hello. Very nice work. Question: I want to install copper half-round gutters and copper downspout on an older firewood shed. One straight horizontal run of 16 feet. The fascia board is slanted inward toward the structure at approximately 30 degrees from plumb. Is there anything special involved?

i’ve been considering switching to round outlets because i’ve noticed they seem to flow better, if you watch them in action the water starts spiraling and i think can handle more volume of water

Very good installation and assumption about the amount of water that can be collected from this big space of the roof and i liked that way of measurment of how low you presume to put the gutter of the drain edge of the roof thinking about the snow falling and charge the gutter with big weight of ice and or snow ...thank you very much and I will make my own calculation and add extra materials to stop the snow and pass the water but after all thank you very much.

Great video, Buuuuuut to the un trained eye. My man installed the wrong gutter system🙃!!!!!!!!!!! That roof is every bit over a 7 pitch🤦‍♂️6 inch gutters required.
