So I'm assuming you are not happy with the product? I am new to the fishing Kayak world and a buddy of mine did the whole yak power switch and lights but like you I don't want to put holes in my Kayak.... Any thoughts???
The micro lasts only 2 hours on brightest setting. The remote doesn't work unless you turn the lights on first. After 2 hours of non use, the remote doesn't work without manually turning the lights on again. Wish I had not purchased .
You mentioned scuffing up the surface and adding silicone before applying the mount. Can you explain how you scuffed up plus where and how much marine silicone you added please?
I used 60 grit sandpaper and lightly sanded under the base plate on the hatch lid. I just used a small bead on the sticker adhesive area to give it a little extra hold. Seems to be working great.
I noticed in one of your other videos you had a nice marine mat where you crate would go behind the seat. Just curious where you got that. I have an AP 120 and can't seem to find one. By the way the new color is sick.

I have my 23' Autopilot 120, and I run a PP-768 J2 Bixpy on my power plate mount. Kayak USA got me interested in these lights. I have a bow set, another for my cockpit, and I run my Visi Carbon pro, with the light and flag. I've been caught in fog, and that's the only thing that freaks me out, in open water. I love how durable, and approx two nautical miles, is insane. 💯 🛶 🎣
Well, I guess you found out how poorly this product performs but I do come in on coming back on here and updating that you got nowhere near the 50 hours. Guardian angel is aware of how poorly their product performs. I’m only getting two hours. They said 50 hours is based off of using the one single LED light on top on the low setting. It’s false advertisement and I’m gonna do everything I can to bash their product. Every chance I get.
Update: Battery seems to last about 3 hours on a full charge.

I wish the Elite had the remote too. The micros don’t last more the a few hours on high.

$189 for the kit. Comes with a charger. You can charge both at the same time.

Yes you can.
Do you have to turn them on first before the remote will work?
I think so.
Turn them on, pair them for the first time. After that only the remote is needed to turm them on and off
