- Paul Dunn, the Living Gospel Choir and The Goettingen Symphony Orchestra. Pop meets classic concert.
The song itself is one of my all-time favorites. There are a slew of excellent versions by different artists. But this breaks new ground. A spectacular, original take, on a tremendous song. Thank you, and VERY well done!
Choir should have done “ma’am I am tonight” - would have been perfect
was thinking the same thing
Watching this from Memphis and enjoying every minute of it. First time to hear the song done by a mixture of musicians and I applaud their take on this song so meaningful to me.
Thanks a lot 😊
This is a rich interpretation of a great song by Marc Cohn, always loved it because it really is a story in a song I would say one of the all time greats.
This guy is incredible....
Very impressive Paul, well done mate. Gus O’Rourke
Love the choir
The Living Gospel Choir Göttingen :-)

Fantastic!
Greatest Voice ever! Looking forward to see you again
Fantastic.
Sad that the audio is so bad . Great performances but bad audio.
Fantastic
This is great. If you have a renditon of Marc Cohn , Walk Through This World , please upload . Thank you inadvance .
Who did the arrangement?
Jochen Pietsch, the pianist.
Is the choir from Memphis?
Hello from Germany, just discovered this version! The choir is one from Hannover/Göttingen, here in Germany! The singer does a good job, the choir is quite good, I do not like the orchestra.....too much noise, kills the choir...
No 🤣 Göttingen/Germany
kind of tight and wery loud. too tight.
Overdone. But love the song.
Piano player got it all wrong. The timing of the piano riff is an intrinsic element of this song and the timing is just not right.
so right, how unfortunate timing is way off, surprised the conductor let it go
With one rehearsal together... we was doing ouf best
Hi, Well I guess when you have to put together a symphony orchestra, a pianist, a band, a symphony conductor, a separate gospel choir (not conducted by the orchestra conductor from the looks of it), singer and a non-optional sound recording equipment, for a one time event you have to make allowances. Even with the metronome going in the background (you can hear it in the quiet parts). To many moving parts I think. The good intention seems to be there and it's not all that bad. Yours, Ann
This is not Marc Cohn on piano and vocals, but it is still a darn good try so stop being so picky!!
it’s their arrangement
