Although I don't have a Pro 3/Pro 3 Ultra, I do have Mobvoi's cheaper model of this watch, the E3. I actually ran in a half marathon this past Sunday and it tracked the entire thing pretty much perfectly and with plenty of battery left despite being paired with my Pixel Buds A Series with offline RUclips Music streaming. Absolutely solid stuff Mobvoi has been doing in the Wear OS space.
I have the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS, I use it to track my swimming and does a great job tracking my laps, strokes and times, the report on the phone is easy to ready and you can save and export hose reports.
Hey Adam nice watch, looks a lot like my gear 3 frontier from Samsung which iam still using and working very about 2 years now, but If it did break down, I will definitely get the tic watch , thanks great video as always, your friend william from NJ Forgettaboutit 👍
thats a good one which i purchased 4 months ago....and yes it s a good watch comparing to the samsung watch...since this has a dual time display..settings...been wearing it daily...and really works great..waterproof too good for swimming (pool) water resistant...but i added a screen protector just to protect the glass...in cases....but this is a great watch to have.
Have to wait until it gets Wear OS 3 in the next couple months but hard to beat the value of this watch. Waiting to see reviews of the new Pixel Watch too.
How does this compare to the Galaxy Watch 4 classic 46mm ? I am currently using a Galaxy watch version 1 46mm and am interested in possibly upgrading to a new watch.
So... Hybrid mode will last 3 days with everything on. But if you go into essential mode it'll still track heart rate, sleep, and steps along with the time. Hopefully it'll be updated to wear os 3 sooner rather than later. The vibration motor sucks though, compared to the any Galaxy watch.
Great review and looks like a great watch indeed but im hearing that google will also make a smart watch so im kinda holding my money for that one if it ever comes :)
Does anyone know if you can download social media apps on it? Im looking for a new release smart watch that does not have unnecessary distractions like social media
Smartwatches definately need 1 week battery on smart mode at least lol I have a fossil gen 5 and it does not last more than a few hours on smart mode but holding off upgrading cuz I'm hoping for a pixel watch in 2022 lol
@@TechOdyssey man apple isn't good enough, I had an iPhone 3GS back in the day and I was buying movies on iTunes building a collection then after a while I lost my account and my phone was useless lol never bought apple again, and 18 hour battery on a smartwatch is a joke, I don't mind the low power screen overlays but you buy a smartwatch for it to be fancy all the time so 30 to 60 day battery life on smart mode should be a striving goal for these companies but we will see what the future brings lol
@@Ryan420zz I recently bought and then returned the Fossil 6 after two days. My first night of sleep tracking was about nine hours long and left me with 53% battery left. *grumble*
If price is a concern, I would personally highly recommend the cheaper equivalent to this, the TicWatch E3. I bought mine from Mobvoi for $170 and it delivers on 90% of the Pro 3's features with cutbacks that make logical sense considering the price. You lose the OLED panel in favor of just an LCD one which is still plenty bright and colorful, and you also are getting a less premium build that still feels plenty sturdy and high quality from my usage. Other than that, the feature set is pretty much identical and still has comparative performance overall.
@@_chan.burn.21_ It should be noted that the TWP3U, to my knowledge, is the only TicWatch which has been confirmed to get an upgrade to Wear OS 3. There may be some features added which would make the price more palatable.
@@TechOdyssey battery could be better, I do get roughly 36-40 hours, but I really like the rotating bezel. I wanted the touch one this go around, but I am also looking at replacing my Fenix 6x pro sapphire with the new Fenix 7or that epix!
Do not buy from Mobvoi they have no repair mechanism in place these are too expensive to be throw away products but if they can't fix it if there is an issue then it is disposable.

How much battery would your watch go through if you were to use GPS and RUclips music for 4 hours?
I have the pixel 6 and I use it with this watch. I love the 72 hour battery life which was the reason I bought this
What messaging like on the watch?

@Ali it's better definitely if you have a non Samsung smart phone especially
I'm tempted to get one of these but I'd like to know more about messaging like does it support emojis and can you see photos

Looks like a good update from my Fossil 5e. Thanks for the review!
Same watch I have connected to my Pixel 6 I absolutely love mine
Nice!
@@TechOdysseyHow's the watch doing these days? Am seriously about to buy it.!
Can you play music without Spotify? Like load up some songs from your pc and play them through Bluetooth ?
I’ll have to check. I didn’t try that.
Love a smartwatch with a big face. I intend to get this.
Does the cable allow data transfer as well?

Is this a question or are you saying it does track it in low power mode? I'm about to get one
Are there any custom modes in Smart mode is it possible to have an LCD clock that looks like a watch face
The watch looks nice but a little too clonky donky for me..I like the smaller slimmer version of the Galaxy Watch 4 better.
Great review and looks like a great watch indeed but im hearing that google will also make a smart watch so im kinda holding my money for that one if it ever comes :)
Same here
With my Pixel 6
My Galaxy watch 4 classic works fine with the pixel 6 pro only problem is getting the ECG and Blood pressure monitor working.
Can you "screen calls" straight from the watch?

I was the hundredth like 👍
Cool!
The only thing i dont like about the 3 pro it that doesn't have bedtime, i have to use theater mode every night, g4 has bedtime
Nice smart watch cool workout apps battery life better than apple 😂 nice review as always 😎🇮🇪
Can you answer phone calls from it? Thank you.
Yup it's has a speaker and a mic
Can you also use the "screen call" feature straight from this watch?

Sooooo the HR sensor is garbage
No. It’s fine. Just happens sometimes if the band is too loose and the sensor isn’t in contact with the skin which isn’t usually an issue.
