I did Not buy one but tried 1 out . After 30 minutes I was bored with it. The Quest 3 at least has cool games. The only thing that was good was watching videos that were filmed with the iPhone 15 pro in Spacial video. You do feel like your in the video. I definitely could see the porn industry loving this product.
Your avatar looks perfectly fine. In fact, it looks better than most of the others and they usually look at least passable. Don’t hesitate to use it if you would otherwise want to. It would be an unnecessary waste.
If they can remove the front 'external' screen, which will save weight, cost and battery life, then it will improve the experience. Having that whole screen to show fake eyes / to indicate the user can't see externally could easily be replaced by a single status led.
One thing is for certain, this is the worst Apple Vision product they will ever make and the next couple of years are going to be incredible in this space. I think once the apps are there and a consumer version comes out, there will be mass adoption.
VR and AR was and still remain the most groundbreaking technology in this century but the lack of proper marketing really make it flies of of people's radar. There are just no other devices that has such capable functions and potential it can bring of how you interact. The idea that you don't have to hold anything or place a device anywhere for it to work completely is crazy leap

Haha yeah it’s kind of bare in terms of native apps, and it’s definitely designed to get you as deep into the Apple ecosystem as humanly possible.
