I just completed this project. One more thing to add to the instructions is to have the door in a lock position before you start to insert the new handle. Also to make sure the window is lowered. It is an easy DIY project. thanks for the video!
Very helpful. I’m not much of a diy person but was able to replace a completely broken door handle by following this video. Everything now works 100% including manual and automatic remote lock opening and closing… and of course I can open the door manually from inside too again. Thank you!

Thanks for the great video this is a pretty easy DIY. The hardest part ended up being getting those power cables unplugged had a hard time unlocking that big one.

Thank you. Super helpful video. Just did it for the front passenger door. The instructions were on the spot and I was able to complete the work in less than 20 minutes. Only difference on the passenger side door was that there are only 2 wiring connections instead of 3.

You guys are awesome! I will use this tomorrow to fix my door handle locking mechanism. The drivers side door is the only door that won't lock when I use the remote/transponder. All the other doors lock. Hopefully I can solve this issue

Excellent Tortorial. Took much extreme to fix for a woman. I've taken care of my Auto daily, however, there should be an easier way to install parts for a car without so much nails. This is how we Car Owner's are overpaying a Five (5) minute job. I saw another dealership where all you had to do is pop out nail from car handle, remove PLASTIC PARTS, then find inside to put together your New Door Handle. Once put together, then tighten your nail to Door of Car, and you're good to go!😀🚦🚗!

I used the video to replace my 2003 Accent door handle. I realized with the Accent, the door panel does not need to be removed. You only need to remove one screw and the handle will come out.
Thanks for the helpful vid. My only complaint was that on the part I ordered from you the two little clips that hold the cables were very poor quality and fell out while I was putting the handle in. I ended up scavenging the clips from the old handle I was replacing. Hoping the rest of the part is better made than those clips.

1A Auto Parts I ended up buy some epoxy clay for $5.00 and made a little ball at the end of the rod where the L shaped piece broke off. I reattached everything and it seems to be working fine. :-)

Hello and thx for these videos! Theyre awesome. I did have a question about my 2002 hyundai elantra. The driver side, interior door handle no longer opens the door. It's either the black part mentioned here, or the pink/blue metal clips broke. My mechanic mentioned something in there broke when he checked under the panel. Question: do you supply the pink/blue metal clip parts, if they broke?? Would love to buy them ASAP.

Tried this, nearly impossible. The cables that route to the window controls snapped at the connector, and keep popping out every single time I try to to put the door panel back on (which for the life of me will not like up properly). Taking the car to the junkyard later today. Done with it.

I had my front passenger interior door handle replaced at a local collision center and now it won't lock when I press the driver side door lock button. It was working fine beforehand but the shop claims it's not their fault. Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong during the repair? They're saying either the door latch or switch went bad. Sounds like something happened when they took off the door panel..?
I would take the door panel off like in the video (remove the 9 screws) and then check to make sure the mechanic properly reattached all the 3 power cables it's possible he didn't properly re-attach the power cable for power door lock.

Tried this, nearly impossible. The cables that route to the window controls snapped at the connector, and keep popping out every single time I try to to put the door panel back on (which for the life of me will not like up properly). Taking the car to the junkyard later today. Done with it.

i need help fixing my outer door handle for the passenger rear door on my 2006 hyundai sonata. its still on the door put when i pull it it pulls to easy like something came disconnected so it wont open the door. i want to fix it myself but cant get the metal panel off.

How do I fix just the pink clip so that the door opens from the inside? Or do I just need to replace the entire inside handle?

My door handle is put properly together now and it shows the blue cord being pulled but the door doesnt open
I had my front passenger interior door handle replaced at a local collision center and now it won't lock when I press the driver side door lock button. It was working fine beforehand but the shop claims it's not their fault. Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong during the repair? They're saying either the door latch or switch went bad. Sounds like something happened when they took off the door panel..?
I would take the door panel off like in the video (remove the 9 screws) and then check to make sure the mechanic properly reattached all the 3 power cables it's possible he didn't properly re-attach the power cable for power door lock.
What?! On my 2002 mazda protégé, I did both and they 10x easier to replace. Cmon Hyundai..
