    To reduce the liquid, after bringing it to pressure, you could put it back on sauté for a few min and it will thicken and reduce it a bit.

    I used this recipe and it was great. The only thing I did different was instead of a few garlic cloves, I used 9 lol!

    Hi, i recently bought an instant pot and trying different dinners. Tomorrow i will try pasta with muscles.
    Can we do it without QPR? I dont prefer QPR as it smells my flat, so can you recommed how long should i pressure the pasta if not doing QPR?

    Can you use 4 cups Vegetable broth and go with 1 pound of spaghetti, I also want to increase the shrimp to 2 1/2 lbs to make it for a serving of 6.. will that bwork?

      I haven't tried that so without giving it a go I can't say for sure. Should be okay with the same time but I can't guarantee without trying it out for myself first.

    Did you do a quick release or natural release

    • @TastefullyBalanced
      @TastefullyBalanced  4 года назад +3

      I do a quick release with any type of pasta dish because I won't to make sure it doesn't get soft and mushy. Thanks for the question!

    How much stock did you use?

    • @TastefullyBalanced
      @TastefullyBalanced  4 года назад

      I usually post all my recipes in the description box. For this I used 3 cups of veggie stock.

    I would love to add broccoli to it would I have to adjust the time?

    • @TastefullyBalanced
      @TastefullyBalanced  4 года назад +2

      I would add it when you add the shrimps and not adjust time. I haven't tried it so can't guarantee but since broccoli is pretty hard, it should be fine. No need to adjust time. I love when people make it their own!

    Came across this recipe when searching for scampi recipes. You lost me when you sauted the shrimp and then pressure cooked it on high for 3 minutes. You must like rubbery shrimp because no way the shrimp was perfect. Saute the shrimp until pink, remove it and add back in at the end. The heat from the pasta will finish cooking the shrimp perfectly.

    How can you make the pasta in the instapot not SOUPY?

    • @TastefullyBalanced
      @TastefullyBalanced  3 года назад +1

      Make sure to not add too much water and to do a quick release and not a natural release.

  • @KimberlynCrawford

    It will look good but the shrimp will be rubber because she cooked that shrimp to fast and too done. Timing on this dish is really important.

      Not true at all in my case. Shrimp turned out perfect 👌

      This is what im thinking . i would have removed shrimp when it was pink and added it back in the end .. No way it was perfect cooking 8 to 9 mins when 2 mins is pushing it on shrimp ..

    2 things. The Costco frozen deveined shrimp are from Thailand and are horrible. Their farming practices are very unclean. 2nd don’t add shrimp before pressure cooking. It turns it into rubber

      Good to know about the Costco shrimp. The shrimp is this recipe is perfect, not overcooked at all. But if you don't quick release, it can't get that way.
