I live in the Lake District. Never get fed up of it or take it for granted. Done the wainwright's 4 times over, and get out walking/camping most weekends. It's very beautiful in all seasons. Feel very fortunate to live so close, especially when I speak to folk on the hills who have set off at 4am from down south somewhere. Great video, Helvellyn is a fantastic camping location if you don't mind the crowds and the onerous trek up 😅
Yeah, hopefully, one day I'll be able to live a bit closer. 4 times of the wainwrights is a solid effort. Glad you enjoyed the video and luckily Helvellyn wasn't really busy on this day.
I think you're getting a hang of the titles and thumbnails mate! Keep up the good work you deserve the success and it's great to see your enthusiasm for the outdoors!
your best video yet. such eloquent commentary and brilliant filming. it's such a great thing to look forward to - your Sunday publications! Absolutely love what you are doing. keep them coming - please..!
That's a simple trip but it's a real achievement to camp up there on your own, and at this time of year. Great video and scenic footage too. Thanks. I need to get out there soon.
Another great video it has inspired me to get out into the lakes and start hiking with a view to wild camping in the better weather. Just out of interest what map system do you use to find your trails, is it a mobile app or just a paper map? Keep up the good videos....
Every video gets better and better. I have to say what a random selection of food! 😂
Thanks and I know, I always go to the shop before and pick up anything I fancy😂

Nice one
You seem to be way more relaxed solo now 🙂
Well done 👍
Yeah, not worried about going solo now. The only thing is the nights are a bit long at this time of year👍

Thanks I'm glad I could inspire you. I use the OSMaps app. On there, I plot the route, then download it before I set off.
great video helvellyn on my list when i come to the lake district in may what way did you come back down was it to wythburn car park
Thanks and I parked a little further down in a layby just past Swirls car park.
What do you think of the oex in conditions?
I think if I pitched it correctly, it would have handled it with no issues. Even with it pitched badly, it still held up.
Nice Vlog, Helvellyn or Pen Y Fan is what I am thinking in doing next for my wild camp . 🏔🎒
Thanks and I've never done Pen Y Fan, it looks amazing though.
