Haha... I saw an advert for this and thought it was the real one! My first thought was that Land Rover had built a fantastic vehicle that looks like Lego 😀 I got to get me one !
Hey there, I have a question. I got in trouble, because after putting the gearbox and rear suspensoin together, the transmission don’t work proper anymore, because there are two gears locking each other. Did you have the same issue?😳 I hope you can help me out🥺. It is very beautiful, it would be very sad if it doesn’t work. Nice video👍👍
Really cool! Could have had the actual engine pieces though. Otherwise I’m looking forward to seeing more about the gearbox and other mechanisms inside
4WD just isn't epic enough to warrant the build length for getting what is another car. Colors look good I think! Better than what Technic normally gets. It's just, replicas with this high part count seem a better fit for Creator Expert? I'd love to see much more imaginative Technic sets that are still about the mechanisms. Price/part is OK though.
good set but I see no point of having 2wd and 4wd when all you going to be doing is pushing it around unless if you can buy power options separate????????????
I'd prefer the old school defender, you know that boxy reliable steel box that was near impossible to kill and still drives around today.... yeah that one, sadly the new ones won't last near as long.
Nice cool that again I really want that car can you tell me where do you want that to yourself is it come with Lego box please I want it I am on Minimart please deliver the car
Depends. A $300 LEGO model comprises of rolling the model, playing with the gear and building the set. A $300 Autoart on the other hand, is not really something you will want to give your kid to play with.
N4M3LE55 I will be honest here, my son’s most expensive toy is his RC car, which we have spent over $2k on. I’m certain there are people who would outstrip that sort of thing by many orders of magnitude though. I am not especially affluent, all I am saying is that when you have kids, for me at least, if you can give them something that you know they will get a lot from, you do it. On the flip side though, a piece of scrap paper and some pencils are often just as good.
That is a good looking set! Although I prefer the 2005-2008 ish aera techic sets, they had some actual style and they didn't just look like a system set
Cool.. But £160 for a set. No thanks.. I could do this from my huge amount of 20 year old Lego and most likely do a trailer and motorbike too and lots more. No trouble and save £160. I am amazed how pricey Lego sets have got and if it is a themed set from famous name brand then it like any high price is allowed? And worst thing is there is a army of mad Lego collectors out there who be willing to spend Hundreds on a set.
No, this is not a sponsored video. LEGO provided this short video to us. We chose to share it in order to show the features of a new set. Thanks for watching!
@@BeyondtheBrick ow, thanks for the explanation. But LEGO could actually give some sort of reward (this set would be fine). Heck they could send this set so you will do a build video and that would be excellent promotion video. Off course this is my opinion and they can do what ever they want :)
yep , very nice , but lets just face it , its not really lego its just a kit car that clips together , how many of those "" lego"" blocks were actually in the original lego kit box.
How is it that the the owners of Series Land Rovers and Defenders (sales of 2m+) have been calling for years for Lego to create them (and their kids : o) a model, which Lego Ideas refuse, and then Lego go and create this pile of s**** before the new "Defender" has even sold one model. Have the Lego marketing team lost the plot? Or they're not interested in the sales opportunity?
I hope this vehicle lives up to the hype? The original Defender was an incredible all purpose workhorse. This looks like the type of thing hairdressers drive!
Lego have made a better looking new Defender than Landrover...
Haha... I saw an advert for this and thought it was the real one! My first thought was that Land Rover had built a fantastic vehicle that looks like Lego 😀
I got to get me one !
Not gonna lie, this is slightly different to the car irl, but actually looks better than the new defender
Some prefer vinyl, some leather.
LEGO prefers ABS plastic
Sounds original. I like it
YES!!!!
If only hammond could've introduced this bad boy.
This model is too big for him
Welcome to jurassic rover
Suspension? In a lego car? I weep with joy!
This set has really grown on me since the unofficial preview. Great looking and solid engineering. One question: Can it be motorized?
there would be a lot of space of u take out the gearbox
Of course!
Coolest LEGO technic set I’ve seen
i like the led angel eyes its attention to small details that makes a diference
Land Rover, above and beyond.
It actually looks way better than the real car imo
Just when you decide to start saving to buy one model, then they announce something else... ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!
I wish a rich lego person gave lego fans money to buy legos with maybe 150 dollars
I'm saving up for the ucs Millennium falcon but they introduced this and now I'm pissed
Lol I would buy them if I had the SPACE.
Amazing. Pure engineering
I JUST WATCHED THE VIDEO ON THE REAL CAR
Uuuhm, hope you weren't actualy driving it...
IN*
This looks better than the real car!
Oh my god lego is going so damn good with these new sets. I will buy them probably
THATS A REALLY GOOD PRICE/PIECE COUNT
Looks awesome!
I live in the town where land rover is from. So this is pretty nice.
Get the set in October, assemble it. then take it to the place where its from/their headquarters (its there right?) n show them the set.
Big up for Solihull
I was thinking of getting the transporter but now i don't know an suggestions. which might go better with 42053, 42080, 10242, and 7347.

Has it come out yet?
Oh my God that looks amazing!!!!
An absolute technical achievement and engineering marvel. LEGO, you never cease to amaze me!
I hope they make a bronco set once its out
Dennis Reynold would approve!
Need to do a Jurassic Park version of this!
I'm getting this as soon as it comes out
Its soo good looking! but I already know that I can't afford it
LEGO version looks way better than real thing
This set is amazing! I just wish I could attach 2 XL-motors to it, gear them down enough and this could climb 45°
I bet, is more reliable than the real thing
So sweet!
What does the battery box do on this car
No need for that sophisticated gearbox, you can lift it :D
Really cool! Could have had the actual engine pieces though. Otherwise I’m looking forward to seeing more about the gearbox and other mechanisms inside
Looks better than the original version.
Hey LEGO, where’s the Landcruiser BJ40 kit we’ve all been waiting for?
Finally it is
when is it avalible?
I am going to buy it!!
October of this year I think
Yes, on october 4th
Looks more like a defender than the real thing.
So many switches witch is what i like

Is this a difficult build?
what is the point of a gearbox and speeds if it doesnt drive?
You clearly don't know what Lego Technic is about.
180 Euro sticker extravaganza.
Ready steady go!
awe inspiring
Yesterday I saw the figurine to size present the real life version, his name is Richard Hammond
I think it looks better than the actual car
Just WOW
Price ?
good set but I see no point of having 2wd and 4wd when all you going to be doing is pushing it around unless if you can buy power options separate????????????
To be realistic. With your argument you could say why not make it pink because all you're doing is driving it
Is it remote controlled?
Nope
Well, looks like I’m saving up just over half a grand for this and that massive excavator.
Base on the price of the recently announced price of the Star Destroyer I can assume the price for this will be around $599
the description says $200
@@wurmsrus2 I figured it would be about that. I was still making fun of the high price of the star destroyer
This LEGO Land Rover may have many fancy features, but at the end of the day it is just an advertisement for Land Rover
I want this!!
But will it breakdown and be in the shop all the time like a real Land Rover?
Depends, will you be putting it together with 1960s British quality control?
Now I'm waiting for a jeep
**waits for the Leibherr set to be reviewed**
How much
I want it
I’d buy that if it included power functions
Yo estoy haciendo una moto de Lego moto de BMV 1200
I'd prefer the old school defender, you know that boxy reliable steel box that was near impossible to kill and still drives around today.... yeah that one, sadly the new ones won't last near as long.
I love LEGO cars they are awesome. And this car is just amazing!
How mich is it it has to at least cost $140
Nice cool that again I really want that car can you tell me where do you want that to yourself is it come with Lego box please I want it I am on Minimart please deliver the car
I would buy it if I wasn’t getting the slave 1
Cool
don´t like the new engines, don´t like the price policy, don´t like how lego deals with legal matters. keep it, Billund!
did you use Billund as danish pun on words for cheap
@@sitsia3808 nope, it´s the city where lego comes from... ok, they produce in china now.
Look at this grown man playing with his legos how cute! Of course you can’t have a kid play with a $300 or something toy can we.
Are you having a laugh? Heaps of my sons toys cost more than $300, and he is 5. Wait until you have kids, you will see.
Dash 117 I got the $370 rollercoaster when I was 12

I didn't realize that thing has a transmission
Same..

Colin Campbell I doubt you could make this with 20 year old legs, most of the parts on this car didnt exist 20 years ago
Is this really a LEGO set?
Seems way to good for a lego set these days…
Let’s wait what the price tag says on this one…
MOTORRIDER :D $9,120.76
Connor Likes Cars probably

*mounts 50 cal browning to the top*
I watched and ad to watch an ad...
You should create a discord server, it would be even better for the community ( I think) , I think I am gonna bye it for my birthday ( in 13 days )
its not out yet.. you'll have to wait atleast a week after 24 September (if im correct that's ur bday). This set will release in 1 October.

Need..
Can we get an f in the chat for my wallet
I wad waiting for the "Sponsored by.....". Am dissapointed
For sure it's a good toy but I have 34 years old and prefer old lego with saoul....
My wallet is dying :(((
Well it's got four wheels at least
A land cruiser would have been better tho
I kinda hope Land Rover gives the defender a second shot in the US market.
they should be sued for copyright naughty people
You copyrighted the video
Shute up and take my money!
I hope this vehicle lives up to the hype? The original Defender was an incredible all purpose workhorse. This looks like the type of thing hairdressers drive!
Not to complain, but why couldn't they make a Jeep instead?
Und wieder ein überteuertes Lego Video bei dem sogar Kolben ohne Zylinder laufen.
Beautiful. Technically amazing. The colour, not so much.
Eh...
