- Here it is, the All-Cup Tour in Mirror Mode (150cc). Once again, I use Mario and Luigi in the Red Fire, and go for perfect points. There were times where I wanted to stop due to terrible luck, but I manage to pull through.

When I was 8 years old, my younger brother and I played this game with my older cousin's GameCube. I played as Mario and my brother played as Luigi. Now I'm getting my own Mario Kart Double Dash on Thursday.

Been trying to get a perfect 160 for a few months now. Just did 15 in a row and finished 3rd on rainbow road. Blue shell and knocked off into space on the third lap. Absolutely gutted.

How is it cheating if it's implemented in the game?
Me and my cousin always played this cup. But we still lose, and everytime we lose, we don't touch the game for days again! But then we do another try, but lose again and so on....

That was an amazing drive at Dry Dry Desert. From what I've seen so far (I'm up to the start of round 7), we're about even I think. But I could never outpace you in Dry Dry Desert.

Some pretty great driving! But the computer didn't really field some competitive competition. Petey Pirahna wasn't even there! Out of interest, what are your baby park lap and circuit records?

I can't even do this good on regular 150cc let alone Mirror Mode! Either I have horrendous luck or I just really suck at this game.

Mirror mode isn't harder than 150cc, it's just reversed. Nothing else changes.
Jamie Stevenson The speed is the same, but the AI is harder than in 150cc from what I recall.
ShadowMario3 I disagree, I think the Al are better in 150cc and 150cc is harder. (and btw. i have also got 160points from all cups in all modes :) )
Danuska102 Nah, they're both the same. I've done hundreds and hundreds of all cup tours in my time, on both 150cc and mirror mode, and I can guarantee there's no difference. Although I find 150 marginally more difficult since I'm far more used to mirror.
Yes, I finally did this as well! My time was 34:50.
The first time I almost got 160, I was miles ahead on the Rainbow Road, third lap, just about to go over the last jump, when the Blue shell thing hit me mid-jump - so I flew up in the air, then slowly fell into the void - just enough time to let the others catch up - I came second on that track, and finished on 158! But that's all in the past now :-)

What is mirror mode
Mirror Mode is a version of 150cc where all the turns (left or right) are changed or "mirrored". So, instead of turning right, you'd go left and instead of left, you'd turn right. It's pretty fun.
Maurice Wright Right and left are reversed in Mirror Mode. For some reason, it's called "Extra Mode" in Mario Kart 64.
Can someone explain this skidding technique? I've got the gold trophy for this (everything), but never win so convincingly (best score is 140), and I'd love to try it out!

i tried the same thing you did and on rainbow road, just when i thought i was gonna do perfect, i was bumped of 5 times and got 7th, 151 points was my total :(. oh well i could have done it if i wasn't bumped. you did a good job though

I think it's just random. And I'm pretty sure I've had that happen to me as well.
Daisy and Wario did not get 5th Place on a Single Track and Toad and Waluigi did not get 4th Place on a Single Track.

Mario/Luigi and Wario/Waluigi are so broken in this game.

If you pick Mario or Luigi as your first driver and Wario or Waluigi as the second driver, Mario and Luigi have their fireballs and Wario and Walugi have their bombs.

Little They're so OP with their special items : Wario has his bombs, and the bombs are a guaranteed hit if a track is narrow. And Mario has his fireballs, which can fuck the opponent over at the wrong time. I've played as those two, and I've won almost every cup with them.
