I think we all just get used to seeing ourselves a certain way so the unfamiliarity is what throws us off when we change something not that’s it’s “bad”.

Honestly... some faces can not carry a middle part. Just like some cannot carry a sidepart. You can carry either but ESPECIALLY the middle, it looks so good on you, it was unreal how flattering it was.

C M I found the right amount of dampness is the key, if your hair is too wet it won’t work, I would say about 90% dry is just right 😊 and if your ends dry you can re wet them

I love the middle part! I also know you've said you're getting breakage on the front strands of your hair and parting it in the middle would help that. Parting your hair to one side all the time can actually cause some thinning/balding there!

Hi Maria, I'm from Italy and this period is very difficult for our country. We are living a nightmare that we couldn't ever imagine in our life. Our entire country is locked out in a quarantine, we can't go out in any case even to see our parents or our loved ones, cause we really have to protect each other. I really hope that anyone of you will never have to experience this. Sometimes you watch certain bad situation from far away thinking "hey this is never gonna happening to me", but this horryfing nightmare is a reality for us now. As a curly hair girl I love to see what people with straight hair do to have waves/curls and this is amazing. Those little waves, almost curls, looks so good on you Maria 💛
I love no heat curls! I used to do something similar in high school and it looks so pretty. I used to do it after a shower at night. Next morning I had pretty hair that smelled so good! And no heat damage!
I tried this and I LOVE how it turned out! My little tips: 1) I secured the ends of the twisted sections to the strip of material with hair ties for extra security 2) I have long hair so at the end of the process when you're supposed to secure everything at the back with one knot I had extra length left. So I tied it one more time and didn't do the bow. Insted used three or four pins to keep the big thing close to my head. But I think the tights/wig cap would do a great job at that alone - no pins needed. 3) Oh! And I just used a random jumpsuit belt. Plus I'm pretty sure you can try it out with sth thinner than the robe belt in this video. Will let you know when I try it and say if the width can be used to control the tightness of the curl.

I’ve been doing “sock curls” which is very similar to this and they are amazing! Such good curls with very minimal effort and no damage
