Why do I trust Maria, the OG ASMRtist, more than most other makeup gurus? Because she has always looked naturally beautiful, even after 10 years on RUclips, she isn’t selling products, she’s not a part of any beauty drama - She just genuinely wants to share her beauty tips with others. Makeup gurus tend to do over-the-top techniques and usually just want a good thumbnail, but most of the time minimal is better - I mean clearly, Maria is beautiful but her technique really emphasizes her natural beauty more than covers it up

This was so relaxing!!! This video reminds me of “1950s etiquette” Style videos. These types of videos would be a great addition to your ASMR channel. I know you’ve done “how to videos” but something about this one feels very “Classic” style. I could easily see you dressed as a classy mid 1900s woman, giving, makeup, skin care, hair tutorials, cooking tutorials, home decor advice, ANYTHING creative in a tutorial step by step manner. Love you MARIA!!!

I really love how you make sure there is harmony in the face, with putting a little blush in the eye crease, and drawing the eyeliner in line with the brow, its these little pleasant things that make the difference! 💕

Being a MUA I agree with the way you press your darker browns shadow into your eyelash line and enhancing it upwards. It eliminates any sagging our eyes reveal with age 🤫 good job Maria
I am 31 and I too, never put anything on my lower lash line anymore. I love your eyebrow flick up technique. My tip is oil cleanse and use hydrating foundation and concealer.

I am always impressed by the way Maria can close one eye lid so easily without disturbing the other eye at all. It is literally impossible for me, no matter how hard I try. Also, applying eye liner like a freaking BOSS.
I love that now you are a mum you still take the time to look after yourself and look glamorous. So many new mums give up on hair and make-up and live in trackies and a t-shirt.

in my 30 years of using makeup, I’ve never come across the lash advice you’ve given. I have long, straight, and unruly lashes that become spider legs once I apply mascara. That resulted in never using mascara again until now. Starting at the lash line and working up to mid lash then from mid to end of the lash, all of that has worked wonders. No more spider lashes for me! A million thanks!

Never knew about the subtle wing to the eyebrow trick! Makes sense and so slight it was surprising how it does make a difference:)
You have beautiful skin Maria. I don't know what kind of exfoliator you use. I used to love face scrubs (physical exfoliation) and I recently learned that is not good for your skin and can cause long term damage that we may not see right away. Most skin care experts now recommend chemical exfoliants. It sounds scary but it's not. They are mostly leave on serums. I would just advise you and everyone else to look into it for themselves. I just ordered some from the brand Paul's Choice. I've heard great things about it and I'm excited to try it! I know that you care about skin care so I just thought I'd share.

I live in such a hot and humid environment (Florida Keys) and I haven't worn "makeup" like foundation, concealer, anything except maybe mascara and lipgloss since High School! It will just melt off in 10 minutes here. Same with long hair. Frizz city! Always up until in a/c... I just recently turned 39😫😭 but I've learned skin care is more important than makeup. I think more woman and even men are focusing a lot more on taking care of skin then ever, and it's great! I get waaaaay too much sun, and break out with most sunscreens, abd drive a scooter so I'm always in the sun. I'm very tan for being fair skinned. Another reasons no makeup bc color match is impossible 😂 I loved this video bc its how I would do my makeup if I ever need to wear any. I only own samples, seriously, a hurricane destroyed it all 2 yrs ago. 😳🤷🏼♀️ Omg! I've written a book! Sorry but cant sleep and noone to talk to. Ok. Night everyone!🥰💚✌
