- Hi folks! Who loves a new year drop! :) You ready to look smooth and controlled on the rink floor??

Great progression tutorial but the end result is "cross pulls", where one foot lifts off the ground. Cross overs involve alternating lifting the feet off the ground.
Hm, I am not quite sure that's the case being that the crossovers are typically done for sharper turning so alternating would be counterproductive. However, I think there is a bit of a semantic war so it very well could be a cross-pull.

I can skate backwards only counter clockwise and I fail the other way around. It's really hard!!

Downtowns might help with this. You can get a feel for crossing back on both sides. Focus on going from right to left which would be that clockwise direction you're aiming for. Check this out: ruclips.net/video/Dp71utr5uEs/видео.html
