Peaceful as ever. And still on my "to do list"... But! I got my own Neocaradina shrimp this morning, and they're still acclimatising. They had "sp" behind their name, and there's no telling what colour they will have (if any). And they're very small. So small infact, the shopkeeper told me there probably would be some really tiny shrimplets and he was not going to sort them out, because that would take all day. So I wanted 10, but it seems I got close to 20. Pretty good deal, if you ask me, haha.
@@frankvermeulen4621 that is a good. If he gave you that many shrimplets probably some lower grade of Red cherry shrimp but as long as they are alive and healthy they are fine.
I had one for a while. Never worked so well. Now, I have a 5 liter "aquarium" with snails, very low light, moss and some carpet plants. Almost do anything on it and it works.
Looks amazing with peaceful & relaxing music! I have exact same setup in a bowl with pearl weed and small drift wood. 🙂 I also added small airstone with tiny bubbles so bio film do not form on the surface! Which i occassionally turn on! I run lighting period like this 👇 with a timer & will gradually increase duration! 3 hrs On 2 hrs off (siesta period-Diana Walstad) 3 hrs on I have zero algae from start. I also started this bowl with dark start method! No plants only water and hardscape with water and lights off for 3 weeks! Which i learned from MJ Aquascaping' and 'Jurijs Jutjajevs'. 😀
@@dhaivat5016 thanks for sharing your experience. I have been running an extremely long light period without a siesta period and still have almost zero algae. Cheers
This is really beautiful! Is it in your fish room or somewhere in your house that you can see it? I think that if I was going to make a bowl I would look for one that was a little larger so I could have some teeny tiny fish inside.
@@jenpink4298 it is located in the living room. This one is 2.5gal but I tried searching for something bigger like 5 or 10 and I couldn't find it anywhere. Cheers Jen

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. If keeping these works out well, I can always go for the high grade shrimps later.
