He who is taught to live upon little owes more to his father’s wisdom than he who has a great deal left to him to his father’s care....... or she for that matter. You Barron’s are an inspiration, with your work ethic, repurposed materials, well built projects, and grand attitude! Keep on keepin on, I am mighty happy I found your channel!
Miguel Lopez Indeed! And more power to them! They have what they do, because of hard work, and not wasting anything. There are many who couldn’t make any sort of life with the materials and tools at the Barron’s disposal, due to lack of proper work education. I’ve seen it too many times to count. Folks who’s parent’s (or grandparent’s) worked their way out of poverty making do with what they had, often will move to a town or city, take up a specialized position and sneer at those who live with animals, and dig in the dirt. It takes drive, ambition, and training to do the myriad number of things the Barron’s are capable of, but it’s their ‘ make do with whatcha got’ and ‘if it works, use it’ attitude , that is most admirable. It’s rare at their economic level.
I really enjoy your videos Jeff and the knowledge your passing on! My dad passed in 04', but not before he taught me how to be self reliant and do stuff for myself, like your passing on! And I'm trying to pass that along to my son and daughter. From your fan in southern Ohio, Keep it up and Preciate y’all!
Wow ! You both are working so hard and put that boat house frame together so fast ! I really like the fast motion too ! Can't wait to see the walls,Windows and roof installed ! Thanks Jeff and Hannah !
The secret is revealed. It's Hanna helping you build. Can't tell yah how many times I wish I had someone to hold this/measure/that/correct me. Teamwork/Family. Good stuff.
Looks good. Few years ago we had a 14x40 house boat parked in a wet slip. Kept it there several years until it got so expensive with up keep and owners raising slip rent. Those long flat walls sure catch a lot of wind even when you think there is no wind. We sure enjoyed our old boat. Miss it a bunch. Good job guys. I love both your channels
Hey, Jeff: You and Hannah, did a great job putting all that frame together really quick, I never seen anybody move that fast, no wonder you two are in such great shape. Please keep them videos a coming, and we will watch anything you post!!
didn't think of it till now but front porch could have been covered by a trailer camper awning. That way it rolls up for travel. Too late to mention that now and to be honest, love what you did anyhow. Will be fun to see later this summer how your design works out and after you use it for a while, what made sense and what you would change.
Excellent job on the framing of the house boat, it looks great. You guy’s work great together. Love the channel, be safe, stay healthy, God Bless you guy’s.
Got me discombobulated as I just watched you and her driving it up and down the river. No never mind, you are explaining why you did things...greater understanding.
Make sure that you use marine treated plywood so it won’t rot. You most likely only have above ground treated if you got it from a big box. An independent building material yard will get you the best price. The big boxes beat the treating plant up so bad on regular treated material that they have to hammer them on special orders just to turn a profit. Do a price comparison on UC4B CCA plywood between the big boxes & independents & you’ll see. Also, any other lumber that will be on a dock or boat should be UC4B spec as well but other than for plywood, you will have to use a treatment other than CCA because of the restrictions on treating chemicals containing arsenic. (UC4B is for difficult to replace, structural & high decay potential use) I know you’re done with it now, but in the future. Good luck !
I been following the lives.. this was an awesome video to see sorta step by step how you made it happen! I absolutely love that cedar console/cabinet it came out so slick! I never been noodlin before, but if I had a bucket list, noddlin wit y’all and fryin up some catfish would certainly be on it!!
You can prop up portable folding Solar Panels up on the rooftop once you are parked and anchored on the water, to charge up a Jackery (or other brand) power station to charge up the phones and cameras in order to provide future video content for us to enjoy!!!
She's gonna be awesome when she's done! Caint wait to see the finished product! Question for you....with all the critters, catfish and hogs that you harvest, I'm wondering why you ain't got a smoke house for makin bacon, jerky and the like? With all your skill you could whip one out in an afternoon. Anyway sure like your channel! Keep on makin them videos and I'll keep watching them....cheers!
Brother 2-cycle and Hannah don't play and I know you guys we'll put your little taste and love all over it it would be cool to see the cat Shack on the outside LOL those security system with night vision would be cool on that bad mamajama but can't wait to see the next to vid yall👍👍👍✊✊👊👊💕🇺🇸☺
That catfish cabin is awesome Jeff I like it and how fast you got that thing together is crazy. A buddy and I did one about 5 years ago and we worked on it every weekend and it took us damn near four full weekends but we had lots of beer too so I think we got more drinking done then we did working lol!! anyway turned out good we only went 6 and a half feet tall but we used 55 gallon plastic barrels but the lake his cabin is on is not very big but it's just a place to get out of the sun while going fishing and such.
Love the channel but may I suggest y’all try to get some lapel mic’s 🎤 so we can hear ya when you’re looking away from the camera and while y’all are far away from the camera. Just would make it much easier to hear y’all during the entire videos. The boat turned out awesome 😎👍🏻🇺🇸
Modify the back wall over the motor, make a flying bridge and drive it looking over the roof. Feet of the driver station three or four feet over the motor and the steering wheel in the back wall and drive looking over the roof.
I would like to know how you do everything so quick by yourself you have a real pretty daughter you'll make some good videos this is Wayne. Here on plate mountain in Polk County Georgia
Hannah, do not let Dad handle all the tools and do the measuring and just be the second pair of hands.... You need to grow and know the work as most is muscle memory when comes to using hand tools..... Some day you can do this by your self or with other people, Ladies etc. and be en-charge!!!!!! Go Warrior!!!!
Jeff , if u can , check out this young kids outdoor channel up in Canada . It's called Traplines and Inlines . Love to see u and Hanna take this young fella noodling or hunting.
Which advices would you give to another man on how to raise such a wonderful young woman such as Hannah ? (You definitely did an AMAZING job with Hannah, she's such a good exemple).
Every man I have ever admired thought about others and you said give y'all something to look at on RUclips and then say it again later give you all something to look at I said this fellow is all right I don't care what they say
Lisa Barron clearly I don't watch enough to know Jeff's personal life. What videos I've seen are just he and Hannah. And some fishing buddies. I sure hope he enjoys the boat with his wife from time to time. 😀
You're not cheap lad. You're frugal. A time honored trait in many parts of the world.

I can’t believe how fast y’all threw that together......... impressed
I have seen the finished product but it’s kind of cool to Quentin Tarantino the story. Start at the end and swing back to the beginning.
That Fast Mode is Kew. Love it. Thank y’all❤️🇺🇸✌🏻
It’s FREAKING AWESOME !!!! Is there anything you can’t do brother ? Dang !! Lol 👍🏼😂😂
That thing looks like it's going to be a lot of fun Mister Jeff

Good name for it
Catfish cabin.
I do like you when working with wood which I really love to do is that what I am doing with it is all in my mind and no blue prints.
Great project! Enjoyed watching because you get a lot done in a short while. Good way to run a RUclips channel. [beerclink]

Great name for that craft/vessel or whtchamacallit.... ;) Fish on brother!
Love it y'all!
I love the music for high speed.
Modify the back wall over the motor, make a flying bridge and drive it looking over the roof. Feet of the driver station three or four feet over the motor and the steering wheel in the back wall and drive looking over the roof.
Very nice.
Love it Jeff

Cant wait to see it on the water
I know I will have to wait months if not years before it will be on the water... I will keep waiting tho
I would like to see a fold up or down 2 ft walk way around the outside.
Gene Austin then build your own boat.
@@Kingfisher1215 I already did, they are handy but Jeff can decide if that is something he would be interested in doing. He is very capable.
Gene Austin yes he is. That's why he doesn't listen to commenters on here telling him what to do.
thanks jeff
Anybody know the name of the fiddle tune?
I would like to know how you do everything so quick by yourself you have a real pretty daughter you'll make some good videos this is Wayne. Here on plate mountain in Polk County Georgia
Like the old saying goes Jeff don't count your chickens before they hatch. You might wind up working on that old motor first rattle outta the bat.
Hannah, do not let Dad handle all the tools and do the measuring and just be the second pair of hands.... You need to grow and know the work as most is muscle memory when comes to using hand tools..... Some day you can do this by your self or with other people, Ladies etc. and be en-charge!!!!!! Get yourself a wood-miser Jeff, will add another dimension to your channel and pretty sure you would enjoy sawing up logs anyways
Doesn't treated plywood have a negative reaction with aluminum over time?
This is a bit late . I watched y'all driving the thing on a lake a couple days ago.
Have to respect those who know their way around a hammer and a nail. It took me 50 years to figure out "Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey." Preciate ya'll.
I do not think yall use fast speed that's just how fast yall can get the work done . keep up the good work looking good
Every man I have ever admired thought about others and you said give y'all something to look at on RUclips and then say it again later give you all something to look at I said this fellow is all right I don't care what they say
Hallo Herr Barron@ gehen Sie noch in die Kirche ???
Like no 721 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
HANNAH'S DAD wow good job sorry JEFF but you know how that goes LOL
A single dad surely will use this for more than fishing. Leave Hannah at her house and bring some local gal.
Unfortunately Jeff isn't single so he would probably get in trouble with his wife if he did...🙂
Lisa Barron clearly I don't watch enough to know Jeff's personal life. What videos I've seen are just he and Hannah. And some fishing buddies. I sure hope he enjoys the boat with his wife from time to time. 😀
Hi 👋👋👋👋👋👋
“PRE SHATE CHAW” MERCH......NOW
alsome jeff thumbs up buddy lol
جميل جدا.
Good size I hate tiny boat. Yea you can have too big but t.hat is good size. . Name it the black pearl after pirates of Caribbean.
Might want to hang the toilet off the back there. Don't want someone droppin a deuce inside and fumigating the whole cabin.
Would be nice if these people actually gave shout outs to their “viewer base” in the comments 😕 not that I need one.
Name that baby.
those vids was live these had to be edited
1 !
I know how it is to peel a trailer like a sardine can.
what is your nickname for Hannah? Goob? I call my daughter "No Trouble" and "Lil Turd"..lol She calls me "Big Turd"...lol
I call my son maitake
I'm too dumb to keep up with the boat build yall. Shouldn't we have seen this a week or so ago?
