Each one of those clear glass pieces is beautiful and holds a rich history. The star of the show (for me) is the American Brilliant Cut Glass pitcher. It is breathtakingly beautiful. I've not heard the term 'Make hay..." in a long time, and it made me smile. 😃
Hay is being made around here to try and get a video up next weekend!!! Yes, that pitcher was beautiful and I was glad to see it go to a home that cherished it this past Friday at auction pickup.
I love clear glass and have many pieces from an 1880's flint glass pitcher to modern pieces. I do wish people appreciated clear glass more, but I'm glad I can get it for a relatively low price compared to colored glass.
