- So we've done a video on all the free/Included food on P&O Iona, but what if you want to treat yourself whilst onboard, it might be a birthday celebration, an anniversary or you just feel like treating yourself while on holiday. Well we tried the Keel and Cow for you and give you our honest opinion. We also show you how much everything costs so you can see for yourself if it is worth it
So come watch and don't drool too much as we cut into that 18oz, 42 day dry aged T-bone steak & try the Prime Minister Burger, what P&O call "the best burger at sea".

We have booked our 1st ever cruise on P&O Arvia, transatlantic crossing to the Caribbean Jan 2022. Its great to watch you as 1st time crusers , keep up the great work very informative

We loved going to dinner with you Kev and Stacy, and the Keel and Cow looked wonderful. Like the idea of using your phone for a virtual waiting line! The prices weren't out of line at all either and the steak looked delicious. Where we just moved they have a wonderful Steakhouse but the price's reflect that and are much higher. But rare is the only way to go Stacey! The desserts looked tasty too. Of course your sharing one with Kev, Stacey. The other two are for us! Thanks so much for bringing us along!
Haha we will share our Desserts with you both any time Dave and Kathy. We couldn't eat one all the time as its more of a treat for us but we do love a good steak 😋 there's no decent ones where we live though that's why it's special have one on holiday, your lucky have one by your new place. Great update guys, aye I know a song about the buttons getting a wee bit tight. On our 12 night cruise on Arcadia back in December 2019 I popped on about 7kg and the only time I went to the gym onboard was to weigh myself 😁. Hey ho I was back to my "fighting weight" of 14 stone about a month after we got home. Well worth downloading the scran when on a long awaited holiday and keep up the great vlogs. Hi guy's... I'm starting to watch more video's. That looked like a very nice restaurant. I'm in New York and that dinner would have cost over $125. Near me. We do have some nice steakhouse s near me but they are expensive. Thank you.
You are in New York are you cool.We have been twice now and loved it. Keep seeing cruises that embark from New York so will be looking at doing that in the future 😁

Hi Julie and we don't have any plans to at the moment as we've got the next 2 cruises planned but who knows after then lol the ship looks amazing so we will definitely be trying it at some point. And hope you have a great time in June. Will soon come round
I love the prime minister burger but never managed a desert, but I'm with you on the keel and cow, highly recommended, oh we also sat where you were sat 🤣🤣🤣 .

We found the queuing system strange, we often found the restaurants almost empty, after being 17th in the queue.? The fish finger sandwich was fab my son in law said

We've just come back from the Fjords on Iona yesterday. We didn't try the Keel and cow but went to Sindhu and was really disappointed with the food. We also found the buffet was really hit and miss but our favourite was definitely The Olive Grove! What did you think?

We went to Haugesund on the last port day. We just walked to the town from the boat but its not the best place to go, not many shops & there didn't seem much to do. We didnt spend much time there
Keel and Cow, we did it twice but one night we did Tomahawk, we also did the duck bao buns both nights for starters and tried the lobster on one of the nights. The food was heavenly.
I nearly died that night but that steak was worth it lol 😆

This food looks brilliant, but how the hell you ate that burger, I’ll never understand. Massive respect - it’s HUGE! Haha
I think we didnt eat anything that day apart from a small bowl of muesli lol. It was a great burger

What did you think of the fact it wasn’t fully enclosed restaurant? I liked it. I ate there a bit later than you before going to a show and was just as quiet.

Haha was it the same day lol. We didn't mind it at all but we're not sure if it ever got busy that it would be a nuisance though. The service and food was excellent though, glad u enjoyed it too 😋 😀

You can easily pay £15 for a raw T-Bone steak from the butcher, so, to get it cooked with fries and trimmings is a good deal. all those deserts for £5 ! .... I'm going on the IONA in 3 weeks.... I wont eat until I sail.

When you dine in the special restaurants, if you have a drinks package are they free ? Great informative video .
Hi we didn't have the drinks package ourselves but we are almost certain you could have the drinks package included in all speciality restaurants, maybe double check but we think you could. And thanks so much for watching
@@OneCouplesAdventure you’re right, yes you didn’t pay for whatever drinks your package qualified you for - I was able to get a couple of large Pepsi’s. One of the few places that let me have one on my package.
Just a small critical comment, you keep referring to the free restaurant, which is the main dining room. It isn't free, it's included in the cost of the cruise. Hence, speciality restaurants should be cheaper because your not taking up your place in the main dining room. Thanks for the video.
Yes we know you pay for it in the cost of the holiday but for the videos we refer to them as free because its easier than keep saying "the restaurants that you have paid for in the cost of your holiday"
They are "free" on the ship as you dont have to pay for them so its less confusing for someone watching the videos who hasn't been on a cruise before
We got asked the other day if the pool towels are free, if we replied back no because you paid for them in the cost them we come across as rude

We asked for different cheese on the burger. I forget what we had but we did say in the vlog
Please stop referring to the main dining room as Free. It has been paid for upfront in the cruise fare.
We refer to it as "free" so its clear to people the difference between the restaurants. If you go on many of the comparison websites they call them free restaurants so we will keep doing the same
That's the way to do it, split the dinners with your other half, and share the experience and the food.
Yeah definitely, it's how we mainly do it. Get to experience more that way 👍
