The taillights do look awesome, I was this 👌🏻 close to buying them, but after a lot of research, I decided not buying them and went instead with a carbon fiber steering wheel from Burnz Auto. But either way, good luck, they look amazing!
the new taillight design is slick... but I’m most impressed by the organization of the draws at 3:40, garage goals for sure

I am definitely getting myself a pair of these. I’m going with the smoked lense, red bar, black base. Just going to have to wait a while before I can buy a set!!
I don’t believe you can get both smoke and red bar. So I got red bar and will probably tint them slightly myself once they come in

I installed these on mine and found the turn signals stopped working. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced the 15A fuse and it blew again in minutes. Any ideas on what may cause this?

It kicks pretty well! More than enough for me. Haha it’s the only way I know how to operate.

Can you talk about the sound system you have and what your thoughts are? Is it from subaru?
It’s the OEM kicker speaker and subwoofer upgrade. Yes it’s from Subaru and plug and play.

I preferred the old look. But that’s personal.
Not for everyone, totally understand. I just prefer the updated look and better features these provide than OEM.

For the turn signals how does it go from being a full stripe at first to a more abbreviated signal? Just installed these on my WRX and its coming off as the latter of the two.
There’s a switch in the back to turn the sequential on or off.

What up brotha hope all is well wanted to run a question by you I finally purchased wheels I got Aodhan Ds02 in 18x9.5 plus 30 offset ordered Michelin pilot sport a/s plus 3 like you have when I test fitted the rim it cleared the brembos there is alittle poke which I think would make for a somewhat aggressive stance think it would be cool looking how do you think I will make out once tires get here and get mounted on rims think it will be okay on stock suspension no rubbing etc just wanted to pick your brain thanks
It’ll be aggressive. On stock suspension you should be ok, but may run on the rear on big bumps. Otherwise, you should be ok.
How are these holding up? Any leaks/condensation or dead LEDs?

Could be. I would hit up Subispeed to see if they can warranty them out for you.
@@Scoobyfreak86 thanks bro ! But i want to try first to adjust/fix my shifter (reverse/6th gear) maybe the connection … because flickering only if im wiggling the shift knob in reverse .. so it means the tail light is running normal

Might be a silly question, Do you have the car on? Blinkers only work when the car is on or motor is running.
@@Scoobyfreak86 yes it was on, I ended up taking to a car electrician he managed to fix it. apparently, subispeed products especially taillights are a hit and miss.
@@abba9415 I’m having the same issue but instead of them not working, they’re flickering fast and not smooth like in the video. Any suggestions on what the electrician did to fix them?
Have you tried running these tail lights with the diode dynamic tail as turn?
I haven’t, but you can run it with these.

Make sure the seal isn’t pinched or there aren’t any wires pushing on it. I didn’t have an condensation issues with any 3 of my Subispeed tails.

@@Scoobyfreak86 Thanks. Im going to test drive both base and limited 2020 tomorrow. wanting to see if the harmon karmon and a few other options are worth the extra price. use to own a 2008 sti hatchback and now getting back into the car culture at the rip age of 34.
Same age here brother haha. The only benefit of the limited is the sunroof. The leather is very cheap and not worth the price in my opinion.

Did you need to buy a hyperblink module?
I am running the diode dynamic led module, so it takes care of the hyper blinking.

No sir. I have a diode dynamic led relay in the car already so no need for the resistors.
Any water condensation? Within the time you’ve had em?
I sold these ones for a different style, but I haven’t had 1 single issue or any condensation issues in either set. They have been great.

That black and yellow wire .what is it for do you know .?
Yes. It is for the resistor if you need it. I have a diode dynamic smart tap led module on the car already so I won’t have hyper blink. If you do not have one, you’ll need to plug the supplied resistor into the black and yellow wire to rid the hyper blink.
