@@rahulcharlie_1 I’m just a Honda fanboy lol I’ve had 2 Si’s so far but currently I’m working on swapping a FK8 motor into my Si coupe. It’s been done already by a few people and it’s not too difficult since the engine bay is almost 1 for 1 with the FK8
when i’m looking for a certain upgrade on my car, i always go back to your videos man. i don’t question what you got because i know it’s the most functional, reliable and most clean option out there haha. love your work man
Absolutely love all of the simplicity yet functionality all around the interior! Everything has a purpose and it all looks undoubtedly chosen with careful consideration, that is a build I admire with all of my heart and soul. Great video!
I totally use your technique with jacking my STI from the side. Totally helpful and easy. Switched my stock shifter to a kartboy plus bushings and what a difference. Stoked you didn't sell your car. Looking forward to more videos and input.🤙🏻
Super nice , can’t believe you almost sold it for $46k . You have $2000 in titanium dress up bolts alone . I’d say the car is worth around 60k in todays market
I appreciate it. Anything in this world is worth what someone will pay for it. Whoever would have purchased it would for sure have gotten a great deal. It's easy to ask for way more, but you get to a certain point where people would be in a completely different bracket of cars. Either way, I am glad it's still in the garage and I get to tinker with it some more.
That car is perfect - I'm in the market for a blob Impreza as a weekend toy, but your videos are making me seriously consider the WRX STI. Love love love what you've done with it - great content, KUTGW.
Ship your car to Boost Controlled Performance for their STI 500 package. You already have several mods that are included, the carbon fiber intake box would have to go as well as the TMIC, but they will get it right. They are an IAG certified installer for their shortblocks so it comes with a 2 year 24K mile warranty.
Man. That fan cover is something I never knew I needed! In the summer I drive my '20 WRX with my windows open so i never noticed it. But in the winter with the heater on it's just annoying! Also noticed the same sound in my dad's forester. I need to find me one of those covers!
@@Autofreakgarage sweet! I knew you’d hop on it but I should’ve known you already had it hahah. I’m in the process of getting my interior wrapped as well. Found that overland website like a year ago but put It on the back burner so now is the time to get that done!
If you really want to have an alcantara/ suede interior but on a budget or they don't sell it anymore, you can just flock it on your own, except for the head visors. You could also flock the doors too and make a luxury car feel. Flocking is not really risky you just apply adhesive, spray fabric fibre with the flocking gun or air gun and leave overnight to let it dry. It is easy, simple, affordable and feels like suede.
Nice use of Alcantara, think the plastic upper panel behind rear seat would also benefit. Have been wondering what to do with mine. It’s a pity the idoing was not flush to dash panel like OEM. To me it doesn’t look integrated.
I’m thinking of getting the billetworks short shifter for my car. After getting the stratos knob it just feels like the knob sit a bit too high for my liking. Glad the car is sticking around though.. now I can watch more videos that will help me spend money 😅
Have you ever done a video on what you do when it is time to reseal and rewax? Is it necessary to remove? I’m planning on sealant and wax every 6 months. I’ve already done my first coat but I want to plan ahead for the second round. Your detail videos have helped me out so much. I basically follow your process and it has kept my STi looking awesome. Thank you!
My car is ceramic coated now so I no longer have to maintain the seal/wax combo. But when I was using it, it would be every 6-8 months depending on what kind of weather the car saw in that time frame.
Waiting for the built motor engine video😉…I’m getting mine pro tuned with a down pipe and a process west intercooler in aweek and a half,I’m planning on going to E85 and maybe a 500hp block within the year hopefully maybe a year and a half at the most
interested to see where you go with the car once you build the motor, rotated setup? I'm in the processes of having a iag stage 2+ built right now, curious as to which turbo you would go with
I don’t have a video of the install on that. Installed before I started making videos. However, I was still heavy into journaling on the forums at that time. Here is my post of the install forums.nasioc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=45666187&postcount=841
I'm looking forward to this collection of upcoming videos! Thanks for sharing such useful information! Any way you can point me in the right direction for the titanium hardware for the Access Port vent mount? Just hoping to confirm I am ordering the correct size. I have reached out to Titanium Works in the past, but did not receive much of a response in my attempt to place an order. Any guidance would be appreciated!
Glad it has helped! I just went back to try and find the video I had the AP vent hardware in, but I can't seem to find it. They usually respond via DM on Instagram, so I would reach out there.
This is unrelated, but I’m having a hard time reading the dipstick and I believe I saw you were using an aftermarket one? Could you possible link me to it?
Hey Chris, Do you know if the idoing head unit is compatible with the hardon kardon sound system? I own a 2017 Sti as well and have the hardon kardon system on it. btw Love the car! Hope I can make mine look just as good! Appreciate the content!
Quick question. Do you have any idea y my engine oil is going bad Only 300 miles and the oil looks bad. Is 2019 sti with only 28000 miles. I just bought the car is my first Subaru
Unfortunately, there’s no way I could diagnose your issue(s) as there are too many factors that come into play. I would bring it to a dealer (if under warranty) or a trusted shop and have them asses the car.
Even though I'm no longer getting an STI but instead the new Type R, I still watch these videos because I enjoy this build. cleanest STI out there.
Why a type r and not a sti?

I also run the Kartboy SS too, paired with the bushings. Probs the most useful driver mod ever!
One of my favorites for sure! I did the same in my old Wrx and enjoyed it as well. It’s a must!
Super clean interior, all the carbon trim fit’s nicely

I’ve always loved those seats. I think they’re stock in the S207 STI and the Nismo 370z

What lighting you got in your garage? Looks bright in there and that’s what I need in my garage.
I have 2 sets of these. Linkable and very bright. I use a smart plug and control them via my phone. amzn.to/2Te9HfK

As mentioned in the video, the carbon trim is stock. They changed to the gloss black in 2018+

Yes, they had an h/k module you can purchase to run it with that system.

It's a 100K Subaru! Looks great tho!

Yes 2018+ they went over to the red belts.
