    Tootsie and Tucker will be more than happy to test that recipe and make sure it's fit to eat.

    As I was watching I thought “wow, that’s a lot of milk”…but I was wrong! 🤣. What a great looking breakfast…❤👍

      Thank you! If you get a chance to try it, be sure to let us know what you think. It does seem like a lot of milk at first, but that flour soaks it up and helps to thicken it into a delicious gravy. Bill makes the BEST gravy!

    Just subscribed to your channel! My husband and I are starting the homestead process and documenting it as well so I’m trying to learn all I can! Looking forward to watching more of your content!

      Thank you so much for watching and joining us on our journey! I am learning all I can since farming/homesteading is all new to me. I grew up in the city and we were blessed to live on my husband's old stomping grounds...in his grandparent's home. We are enjoying our new lifestyle and enjoy sharing what we're learning along the way. Wishing you and your husband all the best on your homestead and sending you a warm welcome to ours. Welcome to our FarmLife family!

    I've never made it with dried beef. Looks good.

      It's really good! 😋 The dried beef has gotten expensive, so it's a treat when we do have it. But this gravy is very versatile.

    I just this morning made homemade biscuits & dried beef gravy. I started my beef like you did but I Sprinkle the floor over the beef & stir until the mixture browns ( not burned) . That makes a great flavor. I have never put cream cheese in my biscuits. Will have to try some time.

      That's usually how I make my gravy, but Bill does his a little different. If you just made this gravy this morning, you know how delicious it is! We love it! Next time you make your biscuits, you definitely need to try it with the cream cheese. It makes the biscuits really moist.

    What would happen to your biscuits if you used regular flour, not self rising

    • @CelebratingFarmLife
      @CelebratingFarmLife  День назад +1

      Hey there! You definitely need to use self-rising flour for these biscuits to help them rise. If you don't have self-rising flour on your shelf, no worries! You can make your own with All-Purpose flour. Just add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt for every measuring cup full of All-Purpose flour and that will make self-rising flour. We appreciate you watching! When you make them, let us know what you think. We absolutely love these biscuits!
