Mr Cortina, thank you for your vids. I always learn, from your skill set, and this was no different. Mr Cortina is the equivalent of Bruce Lee, with a gun. Love you Brother.

Great point about filming your shots. I used to film my golf swing from the back and side. It was immensely helpful

Erik,it was great being able to see you practice the things that you're always talking about. I'm impressed and have a much better understanding of what you mean by economy of motion. Your movement behind the gun is only what you absolutely must have to take your next shot. Thanks for the excellent example

Again another great video from you guys . Nice repetitive consistency Eric . I was trying to call your shot with what I could see on the flags . Not knowing your hold didn’t help . Loved it

Jays rifle was jumping and torquing a lot on the rest

Awesome shooting …. I think, one of the hardest conditions to shoot in is fickle wind like that - if the wind was stronger and just blowing one way you can deal with it - but when its going left and right, up and down - hard going - and that was excellent shooting from Erik and all well read… awesome..

I've experienced the front bags on my mini-x get loose during matches and my rifle starts jumping or it settles a little lower. I have to unlock and turn the wheel up and re-tighten the bags in the middle of a string. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm wondering if a 3-piece bag with the bottom and separate sides would work better. I'm also wondering if it's the knobs are loosening, or if the sand is settling. I would love to be able adjust it at the beginning and for it to maintain the exact tension and pressure throughout the string. Please comment if you know how to fix this.

It’s the sand moving inside the bags due to the rifle torquing. Try adding more sand or experiment with different bag designs.

Why is Jay shooting without eye pro?

I find it interesting with Jay’s rifle how it jumps out of the front rest. That would drive me crazy.

@@f-classpointsseriesI’m really enjoying these videos. As a new to long distance hobby shooter I learn lots. Hoping to get out to 1000 at least one more time this fall. Trying to learn to read conditions, and only shoot when your conditions are present is challenging and fun.

Jay's last shot on that first string torqued the gun and jumped up and rolled left. scored a 3 with that jump.

Not sure if he even took proper aim or just wanted to shoot the round. 🤷‍♂️

@@f-classpointsseries I assumed he held dead center. Wind was coming left to right. Maybe he kind of used it as a sighter? Jays gun was kind of torquing a bit.
What impressed me so much about you was how smooth your gun was tracking and your economy of motion. I know you talk about it alot. Gonna go back and watch some older matches and pay less attention to score and more on other peoples motions and routines. Thank you for the time and effort you put into the shooting sports. It means a lot to a lot of people🇺🇸
