- Most people do not wait till past the credits of a film, and there is usually an interesting scene or two afterwards. I have compiled the post-credit scenes of the Pirates of the Caribbean quadrilogy and shared on RUclips. All rights reserved: Walt Disney Pictures & Buena Vista Entertainment. At World's End finale gives me chills; the music, the kid's hopeful gaze, just expecting and Elizabeth's face showing for how long she's been waiting for Will as they both see the green light is just so subtle and yet so powerful. Love it.
This and the first one with the chimp are the only ones, I could actually remember, because they where the best ones
Then they make dead men tell no tales and it makes no sense that Will as the captain has an issue with his crew going against him. And starts turning into a fish person when that only happens when they have neglected their duties continuously
Do you know what makes this scene more interesting, it takes place near at the events of Jack in On Stranger Tides.
The way I see it, for 10 years Elizabeth has been telling her son this crazy story about how his father is an immortal undead pirate. During that time he probably told a friend or two of his age and got made fun of. Now, after 10 yrs of nagging doubt he finally sees the proof that his mom is telling him the truth.

Cant see why some people are satisfied with the end of Will and Elizabeth's love story. They endured so much hardship and in the end they couldnt even be happy ever after
That is the problem with the fourth film. I expected it to be about Will, Elizabeth and the fountain of youth. Instead, they had two main characters missing and all side characters died of-screen.
Maybe it wasn't true love, maybe she should have been with someone else.
True they didn't *immediately* get a happily ever after, but the movie writers already confirmed on their site long ago that Elizabeth remaining faithful to Will released him from his curse and he went on to life his life with her and their son. So they did get their happily ever after...it just took longer to get. I actually liked it, because the trilogy starts with Elizabeth being completely pampered and essentially getting everything handed to her, and then ends with all that stripped away and having her literally fight for what she wants. It's a complete 180 for her.
As for Iam Cleaver expecting the fourth film to be about them...why? Both Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley said they would not be doing a fourth film before that movie was even made.
I don't care what you "think" the plot requires, the writers, actors, director, studio, and all the money the fourth movie made said differently. Their story was over. Anything else would just have been dragging it out for no purpose other than to drag it out.

This trilogy is so complete. It ends like it begins: Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann meeting, the pirate ship and the song "Drink up me hearties" - first sung by Elizabeth and now by her and Will's son, Henry...

I’m 100% sure Henry didn’t fully believe his mother. So a part of him was waiting to be disappointed. That smile meant the world to me.

OMG I never knew there was a scene that showed Elizabeth and Will had a son! I always thought the end of that movie was so sad with will having to leave at the end but now this makes the ending even sadder because both father and son have missed 10 years of each others life's only to get one brief day together let alone poor Elisabeth who will keep aging while will is pretty much immortal now. they need to make another squeal in the series to fix this so they can finally have there happy ending they so deserve after everything they have went through!

The debt is off then..thanks for your effort, you can retire, someone else will command the Dutchman, thanks for your services, yaddayaddayadda" ;) . Which imho would have explained Davy Jones bitterness much better: It's difference between "signing a 1 day for 10 years, for all eternity job" and "Signed in for a 10 year job, to find out the working time was suddenly expanded to probably all eternity".

At World's End might just be my favourite of the films - maybe because it's the end of the main trio (Jack, Elizabeth and Will), but there's just so much in that film - the music and sound-design is top-tier throughout, visual effects are on point as always, Beckett and Davy Jones get their just desserts (though in the end Jones' death is much more upsetting and sad than Beckett's resigned walk into death). I'm mad to this day that Will and Elizabeth can't live their lives together, but I guess I'm okay with the ending.
Have you seen movie 5 Salazars Revenge? Might change something about the Will/Elizabeth Situation ;)

It's thanks to these movies and the MCU that people are more aware of staying through the end credits to see if there is a stinger during or after.

He's set to team up with Jack, stop the villainous ghost pirate Captain Salazar from obtaining Poseidon's Trident, and is trying to reconnect with his father, Will Turner, because apparently a terrible curse was placed upon Will, now captain of the Flying Dutchmen, and that curse is preventing Henry from doing so.

At the world’s end post credits still gives me goosebumps every time
For anybody who is always praising the first movie to be the best. I have been studying 1-3 and I constantly re-watch them. Pirates of the Caribbean does not go downhill in writing after the first movie. That is your business to believe that opinion everyone else goes with.
Dead man’s chest gave the characters more depth! Elizabeth and William barely have anything to work with in the first movie. William’s relationship with his father that was hinted in the first movie of his father‘s existence. Paid off wonderfully. William’s character had way more in depth now and you have something to truly care about him for. You get both perspectives when you understand their Reunion! Bootstrap didn’t want Will to become a pirate like him, he wanted him to have a free life from the pirate life. William had a hard time accepting he was half Pirate but when he accepted his life and his father… He has a new journey to stab the heart of Davy Jones to set his father free.
And you’re implying William is better in the first movie just because he wanted to save the girl he loved? William in the second movie now has Elizabeth as a lover. And now a new journey to rescue his father someone else he cares about. And this became a difficult situation when bootstrap told Elizabeth at world‘s end. William has to make a decision. Either don’t kill Davy Jones so he can be with you. Or he does kill Davy Jones and set me free, but he won’t be able to be on land for 10 years. If I were him I wouldn’t pick me! :/ The emotional weight on William’s character gets better and better.
Elizabeth in the first movie was just a damsel in distress girl. She wasn’t useless in the first movie but you get the point. In the second movie, Elizabeth learned to wield a sword and she used it in the battle. She pulled a gun to Beckett‘s head.. went on her own journey to save will.
She has grown a lot since the first movie who was just an innocent girl! Elizabeth got better as a character in 2 and 3!
As for Jack sparrow. He does not become a joke at all in all 3 movies.
Jack sparrow is at his best in the second movie and in the third movie. There was a moment in dead men’s chest… Where Jack didn’t know what he truly wanted so the compass couldn’t locate what he desired. So when Elizabeth went on her journey and then found Jack.. Jack used her for his advantage! He took advantage of Elizabeth’s feelings by telling her if you want to save Will you have to want to find the chest of Davy Jones! In order to get will back.. That’s why Jack gave her the compass. Jack knew if he couldn’t figure what he wanted out he was going to get it out of Elizabeth. Since Elizabeth now wants to find the chest of Davy Jones to save will. This gives Jack the huge opportunity to find the chest to stab the heart in it. But instead he wants to control DavyJones before killing him. Jack sparrow is not stupid! When will was trying to stab the heart towards the end of the second movie. Jack knows just because Davy Jones is dead, does not mean the Kraken will be stopped as well. And you’re telling me Jack is dumb after part 1??
As for Beckett. He was a well executed villain who uses dialogue and negotiation to control people. The Reason why Beckett didn’t fire his cannons at worlds end. Was because it would be totally out of his character to use weapons. Beckett uses certain words to get through people and how to control them behind the scenes. Beckett at the end of the movie had nothing left to negotiate with. Davy Jones was dead, Jack sparrow is alive and well. Will Turner is now the new captain of the Flying Dutchman. Beckett had literally nothing to use against on people. He was caught in shocked and he decided to die..
Anyways I could defend the Gore Verbinski’s Trilogy all night. His trilogy is an underrated trilogy. It had great character writing and amazing detail of its depth.

It makes me really sad that Will and Elizabeth never got a long period of time to connect and talk about stuff. They went from each other's crush, to engaged over the course of a lot of action, then they had those months of Elizabeth not explaining the kissing Jack part, then they went straight to getting married and Will dieing sort of. All I wanted was for them to have like a month or lifetime or something to fall in love and bond over stuff :(
that's bad writing for ya, they were fighting all throughout the third movie, didn't communicate, didn't trust each other with their plans, hiding stuff all the time and then out of the blue they marry and are separated for 10 years. Before the last movie they only saw each other two days in a spam of 20 years after the final battle in AWE.
Their relationship was complete bullshit and Will was a boring character, especially after the first movie (which I'll admit he was more fun in it mainly when teaming up with Jack). He was annoying as fuck in the third one.

At world's end was for me by far the best post credit scene for any potc ( dead men tell no tales post credit was possibly the second favourite ). I absolutely fell in love with the background music change in the post credit scene, with the way how that theme ends with a long static high pitched organ signifying the end of the theme and the end of the 10 year long wait. Absolutely marvelous.
The third after credits scene is one of the most incredible after credits scenes in history for me 😭

In the fifth movie Will has barnacles on his face while here he has not.Also, let's not forget that not once in the whole series,has Elizabeth told Will "I love you". Seriously, if this wasn't Disney, everyone can think that Elizabeth and Jack were lovers and actually Henry is Jack's son. We all know Disney wants the Willabeth love story to be the epic and real one but if you think more deep the things aren't exactly how they showed it.

I always feel sad when I watch the scene with Will & Elizabeth's son. Will left and comes back, presumably, without knowing he has a son who is almost 10. Elizabeth raised their son, presumably, unable to tell Will that he has a son because it's not easy to find the ship. And the son grew up for 10 years without meeting the father and will only be with him for exactly 1 day because of the bloody curse. And the next time he sees his father he'll be a grown up. It's really sad.
It's the first time Will is going to meet his son! And the first time Henry is going to meet his father! Awesome!

The scene of Elizabeth and Will their last day together, that one always makes me cry, always has, always will. And The one with Elizabeth and her son awaiting William, always makes me a little happy, and a little sad, but its really, really sweet nonetheless.
I once told my sister that Elizabeth and Will had a son together. She didn't believe me and outright said, "No, they didn't!" I smirked and showed her this scene as proof.

I'm the odd duck who always watched the credits in every film (not just Pirates) while everyone else rushed out of the theater... I saw the monkey scene the very first time I saw the first film, so I knew to sit through the credits on all the other films. It always shocks me that so many people never knew about the post credit goodies! Besides, I absolutely love the scores; I'll play the music through several times on my DVDs before turning the player off! 😺💕🐾

There is alot in this series...but the one thing that really touches the heart is will and elizabeth's chemistry
Some people weren't glad about Will and Elizabeth, so they texted the producers (read loads of articles on this). And apparently if Will and Elizabeth stay faithfull to each other (don't cheat and stuff), the curse will be broken after the first ten years. And also Will has to do his job as the captain to bring the dead and stuff; otherwise it won't work.
And they did stay faithfull.
Btw: I saw loads of comments about them in the 5 th movie, and i read some more articles on that and the producers said they would include them. However if anyone has to get 'cut off'' the movie; it's them.
this makes no sense, because the dutchman must alway have a captain. who would take the job if the curse is just magically lifted? also, the curse has nothing to do with love, it just restricts them to 1 day on land every ten years until the next person stabs his heart.

The first scene is very important,because since then I had no clue how could Jack being cursed and it made me feel that the director did not notice this little thing

Thanks for posting these. I thought I might have lost my mind. I remember seeing these in the theater especially the "At World's End" one with Will, Elizabeth and their son. When you watch the movies on Disney+, they don't show these. It is frustrating!!
WHY didn't they do as sequel with Will and Elizabeth's son!? That had SO much potential!!!
Let's hope they do someday! I refuse to watch past number 3 until at least Will comes back. His son would be acceptable too. Then he could reunite with his father the way Will did with his!

A boy like Will's son couldn't ask for a better mom.
Alot of people do not understand how come Will after his happy ending with Lizz could be still a Dave Jones. Well, he never stopped to be him, but he could leave his job and live with his family. The problem is that in PotC 5 will be Salazar, a pirate ghost who got out of Bermuda triangle, which I suggest is a gate between Dave Jones dimension and a real world. That is why Will is going to help Jack against him once again, because it is his duty to return souls back to their world.
Will cant leave his job to be with his family. He cant only set foot on land every 10 years. and Elizabeth and their son cont live on the Dutchman as only the Dead can live there.

Maybe Jack is down on his luck on Pirates 5 because Angelica,with Jack’s voodoo doll cursed him indirectly using the doll..Then once the Trident was broken,the curse was broken too.
