I love this music so much, because it represents something so good and above all other things which is God. I think people miss the importance of this music because so much of our music is music that exalts things of the world. However this music exalts God and humbles the sinner to accept our Lord in all his grace so we can be saved by Jesus.
I try to sing this after receiving holy communion silently to God, it used to have an indulgence attached to it if recited after holy communion. I don't know anymore but I still love the worshipful honoring words penned by my patron St, St Thomas. Thanks be to God for music that raises our minds to him.
iba din tlga kapag latin. kahit di mo maintindihan (although the translations are wonderful and brings you into a deeper understanding), just leaves you in awe... at the mystery, the history, and majesty of Our God. And His Love. Apostle Thomas, Longinus, and St Thomas, Mama Mary and St John and the holy women at the foot of the Holy Croas... ❤ Our Lord and His Bride, the Church... Come Holy Spirit!
same comment about the lyric background - make it so it can be read quickly so we can also see the scene as well... ON another note...... what in the world made you think of including a bird... at first I thought oh it's a pelican... but no... it's not in tune, in key, ,,.... complete distraction.... unless of course you were trying to get around a copyright situation - then I understand.... put credits in then.
You can look up the written lyrics in English on your browser. Also St Thomas Aquinas wrote this beautiful hymn to Jesus Christ. His reference to Jesus as a Pelican is the symbol for the Eucharistic Jesus. There was a legend from before Jesus that when the Pelican babies were dying, the mother or father Pelican would pierce their own breast so that the chicks could feed on their blood. In this hymn St Thomas Aquinas is before the Eucharist professing his absolute belief in Jesus, requesting Jesus to accept him as the repentant thief on the Cross beside him, and expresses his wish that the tale of the Pelican be true! This is the way that a child would think, and that is what Jesus said we must become to share eternal life with Him❤

Come Holy Spirit!
What a beautiful worship song of St. Thomas Aquinas.
I like this Himno, thanks so much, but the red letters loss in the video. I can not read all.
Please can you color letters? Thanks. God bless you.
Beautifully sung!
The lyrics were hard to read though. Maybe its the choice of color instead of red, maybe white was the better choice
Wonderful!
