    • @megeles
      @megeles 4 года назад +5

      The yougurt and manuka honey is for type 2 or 3 hair so it's kinda funny to me that shae moisture would come out with a protein treatment for looser curl types and not the tighter curl types that tend to actually use it. And have been requesting it. idk about you but I've never known anyone with type 2 hair stuggle with breakage

    • @haileighhouser5686
      @haileighhouser5686 4 года назад +3

      Megan Kidwell girl me 🙋🏻‍♀️ I consider myself type 3 but a,b, and c scattered through my hair depending on the day. I’m constantly on the hunt for something to stop my breakage, I feel like I’m going to go bald. But I agree, they need to 1. Make sure everyone has the products they need for their hair types and 2. Be a little more transparent with what products go with what hair type so we can use the right product.

    I absolutely love Shea Moisture deep conditioners. They never fail me. Probably because they all contain some form of protein which my hair loves. She needs to do a video on the regimen she’s been using to get her hair back on point. With each video, it’s looking more healthy with it’s thickness and length.

    Good spot with the protein hair mask . From what i have read protein needs to be hydrolysed so it can penetrate the hair strand so a strong protein should have hydrolysed protein amongst the first ingredients. I'm looking for a light leave in protein product , i have protein masks but i'm not keen on washing my hair each time i want to apply protein to my hair. Does such a product exist ?

    Okay it looks like their deep conditioner's share many of the same ingredients. My favorite is the JBCO. But for a protein conditioner I'm sticking with Agadir argon oil with keratin or Ouidad. Even some simple Alphogee has my curls popping and gives me great elasticity. So if a new product comes out and is just mediocre, I stick with my reliable staples. My product Junkie is not totally cured because I still hoard a lot of products that work great in my hair. I just stop running out there for every new thing on the market. Research and reviews have to be all good.

    Probably the JBCO. It leaves my hair the most hydrated and super soft. My other favs include the super fruit complex, high porosity masque (not the smell, it stays in my hair until my next wash day), and the yucca and plantain one (second fav).
