The yougurt and manuka honey is for type 2 or 3 hair so it's kinda funny to me that shae moisture would come out with a protein treatment for looser curl types and not the tighter curl types that tend to actually use it. And have been requesting it. idk about you but I've never known anyone with type 2 hair stuggle with breakage

I absolutely love Shea Moisture deep conditioners. They never fail me. Probably because they all contain some form of protein which my hair loves. She needs to do a video on the regimen she’s been using to get her hair back on point. With each video, it’s looking more healthy with it’s thickness and length.
I really liked the JBCO treatment but the Power protein one was ok. My favorite SM deep condish is the Manuka Honey and Mafura oil in the brown container. That one is wonderful in my hair during the winter. Great review.

I love the jbco dc! My hair always feels amazing when I use it. I have to try the coconut and hibiscus dc. It’s been sitting in my closet for a minute now. You make me want to try it.
My favorite Shea Moisture deep conditioner is the "Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque." It was a staple for me when I transitioned to natural. I still keep it in rotation currently. I always add a little EVOO to the masque before applying it to my hair. I'm thinking about trying the coconut oil masque though.
@@SheReaDelSol Understandable, the first time I tried it I didn't add the olive oil to it and I didn't like it either because my hair didn't feel moisturized afterwards. Adding the olive oil made all the difference. I love Shea moisture deep conditioners. I have 6 of them in my regimen.

Haven't by any means tried all of them, but of the ones that I have, I like the high prorosity one best. I did just recently pick up the coconut milk, the hisbiscus , and the one in the purple packaging ( starts with a "k"?) ones...so I'm excited to try them. Great, humorous review as always😊

I love the sm jbco. Haven't tried the coc hib yet but I will. I didn't like the sm man yog, it felt like butter initially then it felt strengthening. I'm very excited to try the man hon since so many people love it.
Thought the same about the protein as they all contain protein but the difference is the yoghurt powder is higher up on the Shea moisture Manuka yoghurt treatment & then you have the usual lower down in ingredient hydrolysed proteins (keratin and wheat)
Good spot with the protein hair mask . From what i have read protein needs to be hydrolysed so it can penetrate the hair strand so a strong protein should have hydrolysed protein amongst the first ingredients. I'm looking for a light leave in protein product , i have protein masks but i'm not keen on washing my hair each time i want to apply protein to my hair. Does such a product exist ?

Okay it looks like their deep conditioner's share many of the same ingredients. My favorite is the JBCO. But for a protein conditioner I'm sticking with Agadir argon oil with keratin or Ouidad. Even some simple Alphogee has my curls popping and gives me great elasticity. So if a new product comes out and is just mediocre, I stick with my reliable staples. My product Junkie is not totally cured because I still hoard a lot of products that work great in my hair. I just stop running out there for every new thing on the market. Research and reviews have to be all good.
Probably the JBCO. It leaves my hair the most hydrated and super soft. My other favs include the super fruit complex, high porosity masque (not the smell, it stays in my hair until my next wash day), and the yucca and plantain one (second fav).
