This one got me to subscribe. You chased that train all over town and it paid off with great footage. Nice work!

Nice chase Matty. I don't think I've seen video from there before. The gondola at Redman Drive was at a peculiar angle! Obviously come to grief but I don't see any damaged track!

Thanks a lot! There's quite a few videos of this hidden gem, and this is my second time visiting (first being last summer). Certainly a nice railroad with beautiful colors! And from what I saw, it looked like the gondola rolled over the derail and, well, derailed lol 😁

Are those Budd RDC's at the beginning, ex- BCRail units? I rode the Cariboo Prospector, back in the 1990's,from North Vancouver to Prince George B.C. The train was made up of multiple Budd RDC's. Did the trip twice and it was awesome! Great work again.😊👍👍

Thanks a lot! As for the passenger cars, I have no idea what their heritage is.

It's another great video. I find it interesting how close houses are to the tracks. Steam engines must have created such a racket. You don't suppose those hopper cars were to be picked up do you? I too was curious about those cars. Nice drone shots coming out of the yard.

Thanks a lot! I'd imagine those neighborhoods weren't as developed during the steam, and I don't know if those gondolas were supposed to be picked up or not. The train inched by because of how close to the main they were.

Well done! I've been meaning to check out this railroad. Lots of good old power! Looks like that hopper "stubbed it's toe"! lol

Thanks man! This railroad is amazing and it's nice to see the old GE power, Dash 7s and U Boats, that I haven't seen since the 90s! From what I saw it looked like the gondola rolled over the derail, and with everyone looking at it it must've just happened.

I always enjoyed visiting this railway. After signing in to the office and identifying myself they were very accomodating and let me take pictures in several different areas. Even spoke to one of the shop guys who was working on an engine outside. Nice videoMatt. I wonder if they ever use that passenger equipment that's parked in their yard, forgot to ask them.

This railroad is amazing! Friendly people too, including the crew who waved and smiled everytime they passed me, somethint that doesn't happen too often. I'll have to walk into the office next time there and see if I can shoot some video and photos! Worst they can say is no haha. I'm curious to know about the coaches too, and I wonder if they still run excursion trains.

How do you know what cars or Freight to picked up? do you have a computer that tells you what to pick up or is it on paper?

I don't work for the railroad, but from what I've seen the crews get a computer print out of what cars to set out/pick up and where.
