I'm a 71 year old widow. I am stringing a top wire on my horse fence and have been out all morning in this heat struggling with the barbed wire. No contraption that I built seemed to work. I just came in and saw your site. Brilliant! The wheel barrow is set up and set to go. You saved my LIFE!
Very nice.. I have been putting off barbed wire on t posts ..last time I added 1 strand, I kicked the spool to past desired length, the went to fence come along to get to approx tension and location.. Worked for one strand not wNta do for several over zny distance..
I bought 20 100meter spools and was thinking of many complicated contraptions I could make after buying too many parts. All thoughts ending with "there must be an easier way. THANK YOU. I even have soda bottle spacers which will sound really cool as they are brutalized 😂.

I like the concept! I think I will add a few rocks for ballast though. Thank you!
Good thinking. Happy fencing.
Brilliant dude
Thanks partner.
Thank you this idea helped a lot!
Thanks for the idea!
Glad to help!
Make sense to me
If looks stupid but it works then its not stupid
Well said kind sir.
Just pull the wire, leave the spool stationary
Excellent
Thanks brother
Handy idea Jason, thanks. Enjoy the projects on your land. Are you going to run cattle?
Thanks Craig. No water out there yet but at some point I'd like to do that.
Great idea, but I hope my wife doesn't see it. A wheelbarrow is way cheaper than a 4-wheeler, but not nearly as much fun.
Good thinking. Sounds like you need to visit the four wheeler store before she has a chance to see this.
@@jasonkranz8672 And the same setup could be applied to the 4-wheeler.
